My sister and I came in cause we were in the mood for a bagel. We lived the green vintage decor. The young gentleman who served us provided satisfactory service. He prepared and served our bagels in a timely manner. My sister got herself a lox bagel and I got myself a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. Their bagels were so good. My sister's lox was topped with jalapeños and melted cheese. She enjoyed hers. I enjoyed every bite of my plain bagel. They were a good portions and held out appetite down til dinner. YUM! I got the fancy bagel sandwich on jalapeño bagel with turkey, bacon and pepper jack cheese.

Considering this spot is new, I wanted to be as fair as possible so I tried a variety of items: 3 drinks (Strawberry Matcha, Chocolate Milk, & Cinnamon Roll Latte) The matcha was just strawberry milk with a hint of matcha. The chocolate milk was just bad, and the latte was straight cinnamon. The actual food was better, but there were still issues. The blueberry bagel was EXTREMELY tough, a croissant sandwich did not have a croissant, it was a bagel. The only good item I had was their signature fancy bagel which was ACTUALLY good. If I recommend anything from here, it's a savory bagel sandwich. read more

This is regarding an incident that occurred during my recent visit to your restaurant. First, I want to say that the my intention in writing is not to criticize the quality of your establishment. However, I did experience a fall while I was there, and I've been reflecting on how the situation was handled afterward. While I understand that accidents can happen, what stayed with me was feeling a bit unattended to in the moments that followed. When you asked from behind the counter if I was okay and I responded that I was, the interaction ended there and business continued as usual. At the time, I was still shaken, and I would have appreciated a more personal check-in or offer of assistance. As a customer, I believe moments like these are opportunities for care and reassurance, and I wanted to share how the experience made me feel. This is my second visit to Fancy Bagels. The owner Nancy is so sweet! The bagel sandwiches and acai bowls are delicious! Still gotta try other items on the menu. Great place for quick grab n go breakfast. Dining in is also very nice and clean. Nancy really cares about her customers and that's what I love about this place. I love small business owners who care about their customers and deliver excellent service. Def come out and see for yourself and support this business! Ordered a pizza bagel. The bagel was soggy and way overpriced. $8.99 for a frozen bagel. The quality is horrible. Ordered a plain bagel and it was super dry and tough. Way overpriced $2.75. There is nothing fancy about this place. If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would. Stay away and don't waste your time or money. read more

I went to order an açaí bowl, they told me the açaí bowl was just the fruit with açaí and honey and granola on top, I asked them to add peanut butter. I get the bowl and chia pudding is everywhere and Nutella as well, I wouldn't have gotten the bowl like that had I known those items were on it. Also, when I tried to eat just the açaí base at the bottom, there was a frozen block of açaí that they used to make the bowl. They also had no menu with the açaí bowl reflected. The staff should be informed of their menu items if there is not going to be a menu posted. The inside is cute; but I will not be back. read more

For starters I'd give it a zero if I could. Terrible service, placed an online order for 4 items and was told it would be 10 minutes. I didn't get the food for another 50 minutes after that original 10 minute wait. So a total of an hour. No comp or anything. That's the second time they've done that. Then they also messed up the order on top of the long wait. Don't waste your time at this place, just go to blues cafe downtown for better service and food. read more
