Food menu, they were limited on that but the usual were offered. Both cup or bowl of the famous soup was available. Half order of the potatoes skin, onion rings and wings were available as well as the quesadillas. Soup was decent but could have been hotter. Onion rings, and the wings were ok. Good nothing major to rave about. Both served with ranch sauce. I also picked up some dessert from the counter which looked great. Happy hour items were decent for the price. The service for the whole place was great. All The staff and waitress were very friendly and helpful. Our waitress who was also the bartender was a major doll. She was very sweet. As well as all the ladies on the restaurant side. Very accommodating to us. Overall, it was a cute stop off for a quick bite. Cute gift shop that's worth a wandering around. The steak had good seasoning but the batter really did it no justice. Hashbrowns were average. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and English Muffin was perfectly toasted. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. I asked for salsa to help the overcooked eggs out, but they were still not good. The Hubbs enjoyed his breakfast, but said his gravy had no sausage flavor and were bland. He added pepper and ended up also sprinkling some hot sauce on them. Coffee is Farmers Brothers and tasted more like hot water with a hint of coffee flavor. I feel bad giving this review because the folks there were extremely nice and accommodating with our special requests. We learned that their specials were a hit and they're very busy so we'll have to give them another try. There's not much in the area and this place looks like it was a local favorite.

Originally I had this at three stars, but I rounded it up to four because after getting over the initial arrival issue the stay was decent.
