    Veggie omelette with everything bagel
    Nicole B.

I stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and I really enjoyed my meal! They have a large menu with a lot of breakfast and lunch options. It has a diner feel to it and prices to match. I ordered an omelette with veggies and bacon that came with a bagel and cream cheese. The omelette was very filling! The service was quick, they have a lot of seating or dining in with small or larger groups or you can take it to go.

Half of my Nova on the Run- hit the spot!

Great bagels. We tried a jalapeño bagel, a nova on the run and some avocado toast. The couple that served us was very nice. The restaurant is clean and orderly. Everything about it made for a great experience for a quick little morning brunch.

    Rye sandwich

My wife and I love this place. I get an everything bagel with over medium egg, cheese and sausage my wife gets the same on rye bread (they put 2 sausage patties on every sandwich). The food is EXCELLENT , service is GREAT and the vibe is good!

If you're looking for a bagel spot, this is the place. They have a very large variety of bagel sandwich and many, many more options for lunch and breakfast. Service is fast, and they staff is friendly. There are inside and outside seating both in front and back entrance with ample parking in the back for pick up or formyour outside dining.

Things haven't changed much here. They still serve double patties with their egg sausage and cheese bagels, it still tastes great, and price wise it barely budged from 10 years ago (it's now $6.99). Service is quick and friendly, and ambiance is not sure since I was there in the early morning when most folks are probably still asleep. Guaranteed to be good! Nom nom nom

This restaurant is a no frills yummy place to eat breakfast all day long. Customers can enjoy sandwiches, bagels and coffee. The owner is friendly. He stops by tables to make sure everyone has what they need. Bagels are made fresh daily.

So happy to stumble in this restaurant. They have delicious Korean rice bowl full of flavor and veggies!

Nice little sandwich shop. This is my second time coming here. I told myself I would order some sort of bagel sandwich since the name of the deli is Bageltowne. That didn't happen because I saw the deal they had for steak and cheese and decided that's what I want. The steak and cheese with chips is good. I would prefer fries but you can't go wrong. I enjoyed it and would go again if I happen to be in the area. Perhaps next time i'll get a bagel.

My go-to is the sausage and scrambled egg on a multigrain bagel; it never disappoints. You can actually watch them making fresh bagels, and it shows. The texture is spot on, perfectly chewy on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. Everything tastes fresh, and service is quick, even during busy times. The staff is always friendly, which makes the experience even better. Their cream cheese is excellent, too rich, flavorful, and a noticeable step up from the typical grocery store options. They also carry cookies and other treats from local vendors, which are definitely worth trying if you have a sweet tooth. If you're craving a solid bagel sandwich, this is the place to go. Bonus: free parking makes it an easy stop.

I ordered the BLAT bagel sandwich, which came with bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, red onion, and cream cheese on a fresh bagel. The sandwich was filling and had generous portions of bacon and avocado, but overall I thought it was just good, not something I'd go out of my way for. I also paired it with an iced coffee, which was exactly what I expected from a standard cold brew. The shop was busy and the staff kept the line moving, and there are plenty of bagel sandwich options on the menu. My biggest downside was the price. It's on the expensive side for what you get, and while the quality was good, I didn't feel it justified the cost. Overall, Bethesda Bagels is worth trying if you're in the area, but I wouldn't consider it a destination bagel shop. The food was good, just not memorable enough for me to make it a regular stop.

The bagel was crunchy on the outside, but soft (and not doughy) on the inside. The hummus was creamy and flavorful. Overall, an excellent bagel. Sadly, that's followed up by the bad news. The bad news is that the coffee was terrible. Weak, not much flavor. I did something I have not done with coffee - I threw it out. For $3.89 for a large cup at a bagel shop, I expected more. Just awful. I don't know if it was the brand of coffee or just a bad batch. There's half and half available, but no other milk/non-dairy options. There are 4 very small tables in the place for standing only. Based on pictures I've seen on Yelp, they used to have a few tables there for sitting. I came today hoping to sit for a few minutes and enjoy a bagel with coffee. Not here. Finally, I ordered and the person who prepared my bagel called out my number and put the bag on the counter. I checked my ticket, confirmed the number, went to take it and another worker (the guy who took my order) ran over, grabbed the bag, asked me for the number and told me it wasn't mine. Then he asked the other person what the number was, she said my number and then he dropped the bag on the counter and told me I could take it. Weird experience. There were only two people waiting for orders at the time - not a huge opportunity for a mixup. Just weird. So, I recommend the place for take-out but skip the cup of Joe. And don't expect smiling faces behind the counter. (Even if you tip the guy like I did.)

Physical Exam: Food - I ordered the special four cheese bacon bagel that they had on special with tomato and scallion cream cheese. My wife got a plain bagel with scallion cream cheese. It was all impressively reminiscent of a NY bagel. Great density, chew, and crust. The cream cheese was administered generously. Ambiance - The establishment presents as a classic New York bodega with a deli counter layout -- compact, no-frills, and entirely appropriate for its intended function. Great place if you want something with quick service and great food. Service - Quick, functional, and to the point. No complications noted.
