Egg, cheese and avocado on a buttered toasted roll
    Pinky J.

I had to stop by Bethesda Bagels since it's been a while plus I realized I never left a review. It's a small shop filled with sweetness and a way to start your morning. Very organized and clean! EGG, CHEESE & AVOCADO ON A TOASTED ROLL This was super filling and made exactly the way I like it. This is my go to or same thing but on an everything bagel. The only thing I would change is either extra toasted or the roll scooped up eliminate so much bread. I love how fresh the ingredients are just made perfect. SN: I can't wait until it gets colder because I LOVE their hot cocoa (this the ONLY location that sells it). Which is house made with amazing cocoa and topped with creamy whipped cream. Customer Service is always welcoming and accommodating. I appreciate and enjoy the staff here so much especially always being busy.

I can't believe that I haven't reviewed Bethesda Bagels yet. I've been coming here for years - the best bagels in town! For breakfast, if I'm not getting a dozen for the family, I usually get a egg sandwich on a toasted everything bagel with lettuce, tomato, and sprouts. The bagel is always freshly baked/boiled, slightly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The egg is done well, and the veggies are always fresh, crisp and bright. Be warned - I don't think I've ever been to Bethesda Bagels when there hasn't been a long line. On the one hand, that's how good this place is, on the other hand, it's never a walk-in, walk-out situation. But it's worth it. Did I say these were the best bagels in town? Only one way to find out for yourself - stop in and give them a try!

Sandwiches are a hit every time. I visited the shop once or twice but mainly order on DoorDash/Uber Eats and the quality is no different from in person. When I did visit the space was clean, no where to sit though. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu since there's so much to choose from. This is one of my top breakfast spots! The options are endless

Bethesda bagels always hits the spot when I'm craving a good bagel. I decided to switch it up from my usual sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and go with the Nova BLAT on a plain bagel. There was a long line to order and only one register open, but the line moved quickly. It did take a while for the food to come out but that is to be expected during lunch hour. The bagel sandwiches are huge and always fill me up! Be prepared to eat outside or elsewhere because there are no tables.

Worst experience at this bagel shop. We ordered our three bagels with cream cheese. DOUBLE TOASTED!!!!! Not toasted at all. I was driving to somewhere so could not come back to give the order back. But it was really disappointing. The wild wood shopping center is very nice and it has so many parking spots. But this place I will not come back again. If I want to get bagels so my next choice is Call Yout mother deli or Bull frog bagels but not this one. The store has no sitting so only take out. Many shops around. So you can look.

Very busy quick stop on way to Landrover Bethesda, quick service, just pick up so no ambience but always great NY style bagels! Ordered jalapeno cheddar with egg cheese bacon and everything w/cream cheese!

I've been ordering from this place via UberEats almost every weekend since I moved to Bethesda in November. It has been a stable of my life. Definitely the best day-to-day bagel anyone and think of. It's not pricey, they are not niggard on stuffings, and the quality is always on point.

This was my first time coming to Bethesda Bagels. I always had heard about this spot, but never was able to go. However, it definitely worth a try! I really enjoyed my meal and the wait time was decent considering it was a Sunday.

Had a chance to try this place. Great little spot. Was cranking on a Saturday morning. Bagels were super fresh. Space was clean, and cashier was super friendly. Will be back

Whenever I'm in town, I need Bethesda's bagels! The closest thing to a NY style bagel. Food: Please don't judge my experimental bagel sandwich... A cinnnomin chip bagel with bacon and egg whites is the perfect combination of sweet and savory! My friend ordered a deluxe bagel, with lox, cream cheese, tomatoes, bacon and avocado slices. Yum! Service: Have your order ready when you step up to the register. Otherwise you will annoy customers waiting behind you. It's really busy on weekends and breakfast hours, so be prepared to wait a while for your order. Ambiance: This is a grab and go bagel joint. Breakfast hours are very busy. The space fills up quickly, there's no place to sit. Once you pay, step outside while you wait. Overall, it's worth dealing with the hassle.

Huge bacon, egg, cheese (BEC) everything bagel sandwich.

A pretty nice bang for your buck. I stopped by Bethesda Bagels, because I was having an INTENSE craving for a bacon, egg, and cheese (BEC) everything bagel sandwich. Boy, Bethesda Bagels did not disappoint. I was quite surprised (in a good way) that my bagel was jammed packed with eggs and bacon. It might have been the biggest BEC sandwich that I've ever consumed. The service at Bethesda Bagels was on point. I was quite impressed with the way the staff handled the morning breakfast rush, especially with all of the special, over the top request from other customers. The spot is a bit small, and it can get a little confusing knowing who ordered and who are waiting. That said, you might have to be a bit vocal and ask folks if they are in line to order or waiting for food. Unfortunately, I did not see any dine-in options, but fortunately, a neighboring coffee spot let me enjoy my BEC everything bagel and Diet Coke in its outdoor dining/drinking area. I have a feeling that I will make my way back to Bethesda Bagels in the near future.

Their bagels are so good! I ordered 2 and it was delicious! I have never had a chicken salad on a bagel before!

Nova with cc, red o, capers and tomato on scooped pumpernickel. Very filling, fresh and oh so good.

SO had an appointment in the area and I needed something to nosh on, enter Bethesda Bagels. Got there when they opened at 0630 and they already have a steady stream of customers. Gentleman who took my order was efficient and friendly. Ordered Asiago for the SO, glazed donut (I've been CRAVING KRISPY KREME) and nova with all the trimmings on a pumpernickel bagel scooped out. Can't speak on the Asiago because SO hasn't eaten it at the time of posting. Pumpernickel was a little hard on the bottom but fixings were tasty and fresh. Glazed donut, it did not hit the spot, a little dry and not the light texture as KK. Would I return, probably because the nova and other fixings were fresh and plentiful. No seating inside, so be prepared for take-away.

We loved the Bethesda Bagels in Bethesda Row before COVID, and yesterday we tried this location to grab our bagels for the first time in a year.

The lattes here are sweeter than savory but delicious, topped with thick whipped cream... I think it is homemade whipped cream, but whatever they do, they definitely aced it very well. - Habibi latte: very scrumptious! It is a must-get, although it's a seasonal drink, so it may not always be available...alas! Pretty sweet and almost like eating some Dubai chocolate as you drink it... worth the adventure! - The Bear Necessities: I was very impressed with this latte. I had low expectations, as most cafes can't perfect the dark art of latte for every latte drink on the menu, especially the seasonal drinks... But girl, I was proven wrong and I enjoyed this drink so much! It came with thick whipped cream topped with one graham cracker bear and crumbled graham crackers... The flavors were cinnamon and honey and reminded me of cinnamon crunch cereal in some ways, but of course, it wasn't too sweet though! I was tempted to order another one... The sandwiches (1 roast beef and 1 grilled turkey) were just average if you ask me to compare these with other sandwich specialty shops... next time, I'd try something else! Overall, no complaints as I'm impressed with the coffee options, especially the seasonal drinks! Service was good and quick. The employee behind the counter was super friendly and very accommodating to ensure she got our orders right. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning which was surprising. Lots of seating at the outdoor patio as well! Very spacious.

Great for a post-(long) run meal before I hop on the metro back to DC! The lattes are on the sweet side but delicious, thick, creamy, and very innovative--worth it. The food? Not so much, but still decent. I tried the following: - Habibi latte (hot with oat milk) - delicious!! Definitely a must-get. It was quite sweet but really reminded me of Dubai chocolate. Really amazing how they nailed down the flavors. Perfect for chocolate lovers and very unique and innovative. Presentation was also excellent, with a generous amount of whipped cream. - The bear necessities - equally delicious latte and really cute presentation too, with a graham bear cracker on top! I'm not a big fan of cinnamon-flavored drinks, but this one was more subtle. It was so thick and richly flavored that the cinnamon wasn't overpowering for me. I was very impressed. - Roast beef sandwich - meh okay. It was supposed to come with ciabatta bread (which I think would've tasted way better), but apparently, there was none that day, so I got it with sourdough bread. - Turkey sandwich - I got it served hot with sourdough bread, and my partner and I enjoyed this one more than the roast beef sandwich. The roasted red peppers were a nice addition to the sandwich. The accompanying salad with the sandwiches was fine, nothing special. Service was good and quick. Plenty of seating on a Saturday late morning, and the outdoor patio was cute and spacious.
