Based on our experiences with their system of communication he would be on his own. We had a consultation with Dr Hijji about 2 weeks ago that went well. We were very impressed with Dr Hijji's approach and direct manner. During the appointment, Dr Hijji instructed my husband to provide him with recent MRI images and told him when he received/reviewed them we could set up a teleconference visit (we live 5 hours from Flagstaff) and he would provide his recommendations. Trying to submit the MRI images and schedule the follow-up tele health visit became a nightmare. I was first instructed to mail the MRI images to their admin offices in Phoenix. Several days after trying to contact his staff through his portal and receiving no reply I was contacted by Dr Hijji's medical assistant and she instructed me to send the MRI images to the Northern Arizona office location in Flagstaff. After sending the images and waiting 7 days to ensure they arrived I then called and received the message from the Admin staff that the images (CD) had not been received, Furthermore, they indicated they no longer offered Tele-health visits. I placed a message to the patient portal to Dr Hijjis team and received a message thru the patient portal that if I wanted a follow-up visit I would need to schedule an appointment at their Prescott location? I had been instructed to send the CD images to Flagstaff office. What kept running through mind through all of this is what would we be dealing with if my husband had the surgery with Dr Hijji and had post-operative needs. Based on our experiences with their system of communication he would be on his own. I guess better to find this out now but it was a large waste of time and energy.

I'll never be able to do any of it again, because he so screwed me up. I can hardly walk after his TKR much less play tennis. I was in so much pain 7 or so years ago and all he and his jerk of an assistant could say after my surgery was "sometimes they don't work like you expect". He never suggested anything conservative first. He would never see me again. I think I know why. Get He sent me to a Physical Therapist but not for 7 or 8 months after. So recovering from it was really bad. I was stiff, inflexible, bad range of motion. It was his "church buddy" PT off 89A, who was a nice enough guy, but I don't think I got much of any relief or help after months and months of therapy there. So I went to another prominent orthopedist in Prescott to see if he could fix me, and he told me after looking at X-rays and other records that this BUTCHER cut one of bones too short, making the other too long. It doesn't end there. He also put in a prosthesis that was made by EXACTECH a company that has been part of a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT, for years, then the prosthesis's that were RECALLED, which the new Dr told me about, but Davis never said a word to me. Not a peep. This is a life changing injury! He knew it before he put my knee in, he had to. The lawsuits were going on WELL before my surgery. They are bankrupt now! He used a product of a company that was so undercapitalized they could not withstand a lawsuit. What kind of an id*ot does that?? And who knows WHY he decided to use a company with hundreds of lawsuits, but I have a good idea. Now, I have no recourse against the company that forced me to seek a revision that would have to include removing a knee that might have been recalled, I didn't want to do this when I was 80-85-90! This other Dr who told me about what he did to me said "he should never cut another patient again, he has no business being a surgeon, performing any surgery, he butchered you!" Then he said he would (actually he could not ) not help me but referred me to his "buddy" in Scottsdale. So, I had a revision because of the recall, and the agony, and it turned out to be as bad as the first TKR, because how do you fix such a big screw up? The Dr was honest and said it might not help. But not that it could make it 10X worse. I was naive. I'm much, much worse after getting it and am having more damage done to my bones as a result of all of the surgeries. That Dr.'s NP or whatever she was, did all my follow up appointments. I asked her to see if the Dr. would do a "manipulation" early on, the NP, who was very nice, said I had to wait. Years ago I had to have manipulation on my shoulder and I KNOW I should have had it sooner than a six months or year later. This new Doc would not let me do PT for months and months! Every friend I know who has had TKR has had PT within a week or two, and they are great now! Finally had that manipulation and it totally failed, "I waited too long"according to the Dr. Was he kidding? I told him I asked his assistant a lot earlier! Like at 3-4 mo after surgery then again at 6 months. But got the same response from his assistant, "you need to wait! She denied saying anything. She lied, I look d like a fool. I bet she never said a word to my Dr. So will I ever be able to get better? At my mid 70's I am going to have to live out my life destroying left hip and left metatarsal bones in my left foot (no pun!!!) because I limp so badly! If I cannot get this fixed, by someone, then I know what my next step will be. Dr Davis will not have seen nor heard from the last of me. Orthopedic surgeons are absolutely the most arrogant of all surgeon. Think twice before you ever seek their help. We "Peons" need to step up and make those arrogant bastards get their comeuppance!! I wish I could rate this guy a ZERO. I hope his office sees this..

While the staff was very polite and friendly, I don't believe the therapy made much of a difference to the healing of my back. I was only stretched out one time and did the same routine every day. It got to a point where I had to ask if we could change up my routine or even change the amount of weights I was using on the machines as I got stronger. It felt more like I was being herded through like cattle, rather than being taught how to strengthen and prevent the injury from happening again. I also had to ask if there were any stretches or work outs I could do at home, I was only given two. 6 months later, I re-injured my back. Mined you, I'm only 25. I was referred to a new physical therapy where I've learned the cause of my injury is due to my tight hamstrings. More than I was ever taught at Madsen. I'm stretched, massaged, given heat/ice, stem and learning new workouts everyday that I can do at home. These are just my opinions based on my experience.

I have a joint problem that he is helping me navigate through. Coming from the excellent medical community in Houston I was concerned about medical care. I wish I could have stayed there, however two things took place shortly after my initial visit, that created major red flags. On the first visit with Dr mohindra, I had casually mentioned interest in a glp-1 like zepbound. He said "I will order it; it's $500, just so you know. I said "no, let's wait, I want to do the research as this is all very new to me. And very expensive. Also, I had been hearing that if you might have issues with thyroid or neuro endocrine tumors, then glp ones were off the radar. Well I have those two conditions that were in the process of tests being run, due to concerns in those areas. So a good call, on my part, to wait. When I returned to Dr mohindra for the follow-up from all my initial & quite extensive lab work, he shocked me by angrily accosting me and accused me of blowing off the order for Zepbound (or the similar glp medication) and how "I had cost his office money because they had processed it and I never picked it up!" Whoa. Very unprofessional. Completely out in left field, and to make matters worse, then he never completed going over all my initial new patient lab work with me. I had no idea what the results were because he angrily walked out of the office! So pleasant at the first visit, so shockingly rude and unprofessional at the second. Jekyll and Hyde. In the meantime I had told lots of people about how impressed I was at the FIRST visit to serve MD. I wasn't surprised when a friend who is extremely intelligent and has worked her whole career in the medical field, told me that after I had recommended him to her after my first visit, she had checked him out with the medical board. She informed me that he had several blemishes on his record for one thing or another and that she would not be going to him. Well I informed her that I was no longer seeing him either. Just FYI, anyone who would behave like this and call himself a doctor, not to mention the negligence of not checking out more about my medical history before he quickly ordered a glp 1 that could have been contraindicated due to my history. Wow. I can see why he has had some reprimands from the medical board. So be careful! There are some "loose cannon" practitioners in this community who are getting away with some very bad & unprofessional behavior. Heads up. Here is one of them.
