Knee Replacement went very well in a Special Robatic surgery in Phoenic. A painful couple of weeks at first but so glad I did it. Three months later I feel like a kid again. Great doctor! read more

Not a good experience I shouldn't have n been given an antibiotic called vancomycion told my Orthopedic Dr.Mark B Davis on April28th 2p25 that I had a reaction to it 8 years earlier so I do do not know why I was givem given it through my I.V May 9th 2025 I went I to anaphylactic shock and almost died I was in AZ SPECIALTY hospital in Phoenix AZ awaiting a knee replacement and wasvrushed to another hospital to say the least I dud not have a knee replacement I pray know one else sufferers like that! read more

Dr. Davis performed a reverse shoulder replacement 3 1/4 years ago. MY shoulder never got better. In fact it got worse. I talked to him many times about this and all he would say is there is nothing I can do for you. I finally found Dr Bradly Williams in Prescott who said that he could do a revision on my shoulder and he felt that it would help my shoulder pain very much. Dr Williams did the surgery and I feel almost 90% better right away. He thinks that another surgery will need to be done after 3 month to repair my AC joint. Reverse Shoulder Replacement The pain and discomfort persistent for 18 months... especially in certain arm movements so definitely disappointed in the result. Had many in office laser treatments that did not help. Have to think something was cut.... As I researched 40% have problems...and Dr David simply said continue PT but it never helped so nagging lifelong problem. read more

Very expensive. Not a great doctor. Tried to hype a weight loss, body sculpting program for a back issue. Would not recommen.

The nurses and women at this place offer little to no help. It took me 5 days to get my pain meds because they just don't seem to care.

Very nice and friendly surgeon and staff. The receptionist is way friendlier than any ortho practice in this county, especially compared to Granite Orthopedics. read more

Dr Davis and his staff are one of the best i have ever experienced. I was a surgical nurse for 26 years and can give an opinion from a well educated medical point of view. He's done 2 joint replacements for me among other procedures, and a joint for my husband. the outcome of all were excellent..The staff is VERY helpful and its a pleasant and well run office which means a lot also!! read more

This place is a joke and we don't trust dr Davis one bit! My husband has been having severe knee pain on and off for a few years now. As if recent it has started happening more frequently. He got a referral from our dr to see an orthopedic doctor and it was Davis orthopedic. We went and the initial appointment was a joke. He didn't want to listen and he seemed extremely Unconfident in anything he said. My husband had to push and continually tell him that his pain felt like it was in the tissue, maybe tendon or ligiments, to finally get him to give him a referral for an mri. He told my husband that if the mri didn't show anything then he would give him a referral to a rheumatologist. So here we are at the follow up appointment to review the mri(which we already know it showed nothing since we looked at it in his patient portal) his appointment was at 4:30 we've been here since 4:15 and it's now 5:36 and we've been In The room for 20min! While Were sitting in here a nurse comes in ready to do a "prp"(whatever that is) on my husband. Needless to say it wasn't for him! This place is a joke and I wouldn't bring my dog here!! read more

There are no redeeming qualities in trying to work with this business. Davis Orthopaedics was mentioned to me by several nurses in the PV and Prescott area as one of the worst places for me to go have a wrist (cyst) surgery done because of a high rate of infections after any type of surgeries they do. I gave Davis the benefit of the doubt and still attempted to have my wrist surgery done through them. I was given an incredibly ridiculous amount of run-around and many, many months of delays and waiting weeks for the next appointments. Davis first made me wait 2 weeks for the first appointment which was little more than looking at my wrist and doing an x-ray. Every nurse I spoke to after thaat appointment said x-rays don't show anything related to cysts. Davis sent me to SimonMed-- another 2 weeks waiting for an appointment --who don't have a clue how to handle veteran/V.A. medical cases and wanted to charge me AND the V.A. for the MRI. So another month of waiting for Trump's allegedly amazing V.A. health system to get the V.A. to do the MRI. Then 2 more weeks waiting for the V.A. to get the results back and another 3 weeks waiting for Davis to get the the MRI results and schedule me for my next appointment. For some pointless reason, Davis claimed to need to review the MRI in front of me-- and that appointment was absolutely required by Davis. He couldn't look at the MRI and move on to the next step. This turned out to be 100% as COLOSSAL a waste of time as I expected, wasting over 2 hours of my time for literally no progress on my case whatsoever, but I did get to hear directly from two of his patients-- in his own waiting room! --that his surgeries gave them infections as well. At the pointless MRI review, I wasn't put into a room until more than 30 minutes after my appointment time. I wasn't seen by Davis for another 55 MINUTES after I was put into a room. And then he was in the room with me for literally 7 minutes. As I was leaving the waste of time MRI review, Davis himself told me their scheduler-- who was on the phone when I was leaving the pointless review --would call me to schedule the next appointment. Well, it's been I have no idea how many weeks since the pointless MRI review and no one has contacted me. Yes, I could have called them, but they made the promise to contact me because the scheduler was on the phone. Don't waste your time with these people. read more

Wow I hate to do this. Sorry Mark. But sharing the lesson feels good. Neither one of the following 2 Bads would have caused me to write this. But the combo left me feeling like something larger could be happening. My mom is in her 80s and doesn't know how she severely injured her shoulder - ripped a few tendons etc. I was helping her w/ a sling, massage, etc and when the MRI was done I joined for the debriefing w/ the doc/nurse practitioner because I help w/ my folks medical decisions. So this is the first Bad: My dad, mom, and myself took our time to go to their office to discuss the MRI results, diagnosis, and options. We did not have a meeting w/ the doc but w/ another staff member. She could barely discuss the diagnosis let alone options like surgery or PT or anything. I was not sure why we were there. It was a stupid waste of time for which I am not sure who or how it was paid. But it was robbery in my mind. Abuse of elderly??? I don't know if its an anomaly or not; but I would think if it was then somebody would have told us and refunded or prevented the payments. They did not seem bothered in the slightest or even aware or apologetic about wasting our time or billing for nothing. Wow. Second, when we met w/ Mark Davis (the surgeon) we discussed surgery options and determined that was the only option. My mom had been in a lot of pain and a lot was damaged. I'm pretty athletic and haven't required any surgeries yet for my many injuries, but surgery for her given the extent made sense to me. Mark was clear he was not optimistic about non-surgery options. My mom had a kidney transplant and her health is generally fragile. So her general doc (Dr. Morris) was adamantly against the surgery and wrote her a script for physical therepy (Tiption) which I thought was just going to be a waste of time. I was wrong. But incredibly, so was Davis. Therapy is going Great and I'm really impressed. My mom is not half way thru but its seems super clear that Dr. Morris was right. Kudos to him and Tipton the PT. Thanks for helping my mom. I don't want to draw any general conclusions from this wrt Davis, but he was ready to put my 80-old mother under full anesthesia for something she did not need. Really really bad in my opinion. And he is supposed to be the expert; and doing what is best for patients. He was neither in this case. read more

This was my first visit to Dr. Davis. The staff was very courtesy, the lobby was very clean. The wait time was minimum. Dr. Davis took more than adequate time explaining my options for treatment my knee, with surgery as a last resort. I never felt rushed. Dr. Davis seemed very sincere and really cared about my concerns and me, not just as a patient, but as a person. He also is the only orthopedic surgeon in the area to perform a muscle-sparing technique that will reduce pain and discomfort while accelerating my recover. When the time comes, I'm on board and highly recommend this practice. read more

I want to give a huge shout out to Dr. Davis and his staff at Davis Orthopaedics. I know that I made the right decision to get my knee replacement surgery with Dr. Davis. I feel so much better. I know that I am still recovering but I will dance with my son at his wedding next year. read more
