Two years ago I lived around the corner from this place and I would walk there with my son at least once a week. Now I live in Albany and I'm so sad that I don't have the time to go get one of their amazing sandwiches as often as I used to. My favorites are the ginger chicken and the beef curry. The warm meat in contrast with the cold, crunchy veggies and topped with the spicy sauce is unbelievable. The best part is that the bread is soft but it doesn't start to fall apart toward the end like you might expect it to. Every bite is perfect. My mom makes me take her here every time she visits. I think that maybe visiting her grandkids is the way she justifies driving 1.5 hours to get a sandwich. You can't get a better sandwich in Corvallis for $4.50, period. Granted, I do start to get hungry around 3pm, but the quality of these sandwiches is really high for the price. I'd love to see them add additional snacks to supplement the sandwiches as well as some desserts. read more

I love this place, not only because their sandwiches are so delicious, but because the staff members are always so nice and polite and friendly. They always make you feel so appreciated when you come in. I always get one of the three vegetarain sandwich options they offer, and all of them are terrific! I also love their veggie rolls with the scumptious peanut sauce dip :) Whenever I have an out-of-town friend visiting, I take them to this place to have lunch :) :) One of my friends who once owned a pizza place always tells me you can judge the sanitary standards of a restaurant by the condition of the bathroom they have-- LOL. Well, I just wanted to add that this place always has a SPOTLESS bathroom!! And the restaurant is always crisp and clean. You can tell that the staff and the owners really care about how they prepare the food and how they treat their customers. Corvallis is incredibly fortunate to have such an awesome sandwich shop!! I remember when Baguette was closed for awhile as they were moving to their new location. I couldn't wait until they opened back up again so I could resume eating their delicious sandwiches :) :) If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!! As a former New Yorker and current food snob I was skeptical, having had my "west-coast-Vietnamese-sandwich" heart broken and hopes dashed by Davis, CA. Fret not, fellow foreign forlorn foodies, this is what you've waited three thousand miles for. Soft bread with crust you have to rip with your teeth, crunchy pickled veggies and refreshing cilantro on top of whatever sandwich you decide you want that day. Awesome stuff. I came in on a whim while walking through downtown between meetings, and was pleasantly surprised. It was almost empty, but I think that's because I came during the slow time of the afternoon: the reviews seem to indicate it's pretty popular! The sandwich proves why. as i was staying in corvallis for two days and on a budget, i ate my first meal out of a trader joes bag. i asked around the 2nd day and found the holy grail of sandwiches at Baguette. i spent a few minutes talking with mama who told me all about the ingredients and their freshly baked bread. i ate the sumai bahn mi and found it absolutely delicious. it you want something super good and affordable, go to Baguette, its so good! read more

Lemongrass beef is my favorite. The bread is fresh and sometimes right out of the oven. Whole wheat bread is delicious but so popular they often run out. The menu is easy to read and the service is friendly. Been here 20+ times and often eat for two with $10. read more

baguette is delicious! the staff their is also very friendly and their sandwiches are made hot and ready to order . I always get the sautee chicken on wheat. i love that the restaurant offers wheat bread choices at no additional charge. The sandwiches have pickled vegis inside and cucumber and a spicy mayo. This is one of my favorite lunch choices in town! I always order the tofu baguette on wheat & it is consistently satisfying. The service is moderately quick, but the extra minute or two spent here, rather than at a chain sandwich shop, is worth every second. Their thai iced teas are a favorite of mine as well. We've been to Baguette a couple of times and have had good sandwiches both times. The baguette was lightly toasted. The meat and vegetables were fresh and tasty. The spices brought everything together. Service was fast and the place was clean. It's a great lunch place or quick meal. All in all, we enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back. read more
