Took the kids I was babysitting for a treat on Sunday morning, they should've opened at 11. The staff workers, Meliah, Kourtney, Melisa, and Henley were very sweet and respectful. I come here often. This store recently got new management and now has ridiculous new policies. Waters are now $2.15, the way the staff is scheduled is bad. I'm always seeing a new face and I don't mind but I like to see my regulars because I've had nice conversations with the regular employees. Whenever they have a rush, they have trouble keeping up because they often only have 2-3 people working, and they have scheduled the employees, who have been working for longer, less. They also have a 13 year old working and getting paid. He picks up things with his bare hands without washing his hands or wearing gloves. I doubt h had training, or an interview and I find it unfair to the other staff. He also adds bananas to all the smoothies which is weird. Does this kid have an obsession with bananas???? read more

We then just asked for a refund. The Teens were unable to process the refund after 20 minutes fiddling. They then got the owner on the phone. The owner refused to issue a cash refund. I got the large Nerds Rainbow! it was a burst of flavors and they add nerds in the middle and on top!! it was wonderful and really refreshing on a hot day! I went on a super super hot May afternoon. At first it wasn't what I wanted, I wanted ice cream but I stuck it out and got a strawberry shaved ice with condensed milk and ohhhhh mannn. The two kids working on Sunday were sweet and seemed to be having a good day. The AC WAS BLASTINGGG so I went outside cause to enjoy the shaved ice. It was AMAZING! The flavor was great! We went to the Cajun Crawfish and Music Festival on a very hot day and spotted some folks enjoying this frozen treat. We inquired to their whereabouts and were pleased to hear this shaved ice location was across the street. Apparently everyone got the memo because the line was very long. At least we were indoors so it didn't feel so bad. The line moved rather quickly as the team of young people worked hard and fast to prepare our orders. Great spot to treat the kids (& adults) after a long day at basketball camp! This is as close to Hawaiian shave ice as you're gonna get on this side of the U. S., and it's pretty darned good! They have a million combinations of flavors, including some adventurous ones like pickle juice, Warheads, and Chamoy--a Mexican chili sauce that's great on fresh fruits! The girls who work here are always very friendly and patient--I did say there was a million combinations, right? There's never enough people working, though, as the tables are never cleaned quick enough, even when there isn't a line out the door. I love the ice here so good!! But I personally feel like you guys should hire better employees. I work in the customer service industry for a very long time and the few times I've been here I noticed the girls bully each other. My second time coming in today when I walked in this girl rolled her eyes and made a smirk face when I walked in because she did not want to serve me. Please do that in private that doesn't make anyone feel good. I did not get her name but she had brown curly hair and glasses. The first time I came in I notice one girl was the only one helping and there was a long line and she was trying to leave the other two girls were trying to close and would not help her. My family absolutely loves this place BUT man the owner needs to cough up a few extra dollars and have at least 3 people at all times. When walking up to the front door my family and I are praying there isn't a line because it can take 1/2 hour or more. Every single time I go in there, 2x a week the girls are buried with a long line of customers (1 girl on register and 1 making the order) with many people walking out because of the line. This is not the girls fault at all it's poor staffing. Today was a perfect example, I felt really bad for the girls behind the counter this afternoon, so many people coming in and not enough help and they had to manage a birthday party! Some of the customers ended up walking away. Aside from that issue (which is a big one) this place is fantastic. Fix the staffing issue and it's a 5 star review all day long. read more

One sat on her phone the entire time. The other barely acknowledged our presence when we walked in the door. 15 minutes for an açaí bowl. In addition, the environment was disgusting. Your employees need to make sure they do not make comments about customers orders when they can read lips. I ordered a Thin Ice Jamaica punch with gummy bears. None of their concern why I would order thin ice then add candy on top. I give my gummy bears to my children. That is very poor customer service. read more
