I come here quite often, typically in the drive thru and I've always had a great customer service experience. The staff is friendly, my order is relatively simple so I've never had any mixups or issues. I also really appreciate that they offer the flat top for those who are driving so that it doesn't melt all over your cup holder. The snow cones are a tad bit pricey but the sizes are also pretty good so you get what you pay for. My experience at the Bahama Buck's in Pearland was unacceptable, and unfortunately it reflects many of the concerns already mentioned in other reviews. I waited in the drive-thru line for 35 minutes. Because it was taking so long and I had children waiting, I went inside and politely asked the general manager, Dianne (short gray hair), if she could hand me the sno cones as she made them so the ice wouldn't melt. Instead of responding professionally, she immediately gave me an attitude and stated there was a customer before me and that she was the only one working. While I understand being short-staffed, that is a management issue not a reason to be rude or disrespectful to paying customers. When I explained that I wasn't upset about the wait but about the attitude, the her behavior became increasingly sarcastic and condescending, emphasizing her words and making remarks under her breath. Another customer inside also expressed that he had been waiting an extremely long time. The situation escalated when she told me to leave. I asked for my refund receipt and her name. She loudly and aggressively spelled it out: "D-I-A-N-N-E." She then threatened to call the police, which was completely unnecessary and felt like a scare tactic. After issuing my refund, she followed me outside and stood behind my vehicle, appearing to take a photo of my car and/or license plate. This was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. What made this experience worse is that she claimed she informed another customer about the long wait but never communicated that to me. Customers understand busy days and staffing challenges. What is not acceptable is: * Poor communication * Disrespectful and sarcastic behavior * Threatening customers unnecessarily * Following customers outside to photograph their vehicles Management sets the tone for a business, and this interaction was completely inappropriate. Based on this experience and the similar complaints in other reviews, this location clearly has serious customer service and management issues. I will not be returning. read more

I got there 25 min before the closing time therefor my order should have still be taken regardless of the rush they had. I have worked customer service before and I know that that is not the proper protocol. You are not to refuse service to any customer because you are shortstaffed or busy. Ok...I've given this location multiple tries (4) (when I'm shopping in the area) and they disappoint every time! However Today was the worse and the last time. So I ordered and wanted condensed milk. Employee said they were out...ok, no problem so I changed my flavor. Drove up for my total. Received my snowball. I pull off. Then I taste my snowball. Spoiled!!! This was only a Wuxi drive thru visit, however the 2 young ladies working, in my opinion went through extra mile. I needed 3 bottles of syrup that could be used to cover crushed ice for a family and friends outdoor event. (Kids and Adults) both lined up. Nevertheless, they couldn't find the button on the register, however, promised that they would figure it out, even to the point of picking up the phone and getting help. The Pearland curse strikes again here. I love me some Bahama Buck's, especially during the summer months when the heat is at it's worst in Texas. Their soft ice and plethora of flavors makes it one of the better options for shaved ice. Just not this location. In the beginning they had it together, but on a recent visit, not so much. Customer service was not good. These kids gotta get it together. It took forever to get our order. I'm used to the smoothest shaved ice at any Bahama Buck's, but here I got ice chunks mixed in as well. Flavors were good otherwise. Not enough to salvage all the flaws though. For just these reasons, I will not be returning to this location. read more

This is the the slowest drive through ever!! I order a regular strawberry colada and reg Oreo cookie at 4:10 and it's 50 minutes later i still don't have it. Drove over 30 minutes to get to this location because we got a gift card for my daughter's 4 year old birthday. Figured it was going to be worth it to make a 'girl's date' out of the trip, but we arrive and they are only offering drive thru service! No notice on the website, no sign on the door- it's locked and another potential guest went to the drive up window to ask why the door was locked. My daughter was crying that she wanted a princess snow cone so we waited in the ridiculously long line for an unsatisfactory experience. While I'm sitting here typing this there have been 5 other people come up and try to go inside... everyone except for me has left so they are losing a lot of business. I am so disappointed and disgusted that we came this far for such a crummy experience. Definitely will not return to this (and potentially any) Bahama Buck's again. Update: I notice that they have 'due to COVID we are drive thru only' listed on their Facebook page, but why would I check that instead of their main .com site?
