The mani was just okay, felt rushed even though I was the only person in the salon. Came in at 10am. Chose my colour, the staff were polite. Salon was clean and well presented. Not too expensive at $15 for a spa manicure but not worth the poor job. The actual results of the manicure were pretty poor. Really messy filing, polish on my finger tips, I still have dry cuticles left uncut/removed, shaping is poor and lazy and my nails aren't square as I asked. The polish is patchy and all in all I'm a really disappointed. I've had to file them myself when I got back home to remove the rough edges left over. The spa is nice, the staff are polite and it wasn't too expensive but I wish I had gone elsewhere as recommended. Wasted $15 on a pretty rubbish manicure actually. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Listen girls.....I was in town for a conference on the weekend of June 1st and needed to get my nails done and feet done, most importantly the gel powder dip removed from my fingers. Usually most places will soak your nails while your feet get done to save time. The whole time the technician was doing my century-long crappy pedicure, I asked a couple of times if anyybody could just put some acetone in foil on my nails to help things along. She asked a bunch of technicians that were sitting around, lounging, not doing anything at all, and they all refused. By the time my pedicure was done I changed my mind about getting a new set and asked them to just remove what I had. The initial charge the boy at the front desk said would be $5 but hearing that I had no time for a full set, he jumped the price up to $15. When I asked him why it changed and he said "if you were getting a set it would be $10 but now it's $15 to just remove them." Yes, he also upped the initial quote which simply tells me that they are in here charging whatever the hell they feel like to whomever walks in here. The price for removal was not even on the menu so they have no basis on set price. SHEISTY! My pedi was uneven and thin looking. The place is a dump with outdated decor, busted up furniture, and just an all around funky ambiance. Technicians milling about or sleeping in this section closed off with curtains. Absolutely mad cap. I now also have an itch on my foot from what I'm sure is a fungus I got from their disgusting foot bath, which they did not use a liner for and I didn't see disinfect before other customers and the tools that were not disposed of after each time. Same nail file. Same buffer. I was visiting and had very little time to run around looking for a spa I really wanted by, of course using Yelp. I thought unsanitary practices like these went out across the board at least 5 years ago. I was wrong. Do not go here! read more

The service here is great, they are very attentive and make sure that you are happy with your nails when you leave but I must comment on how incredibly overpriced they are, I know you will pay a little bit more being in the mall but I was absolutely shocked when I paid $112 for a full set and a pedicure. Everywhere I have ever been has always charged five dollars more for gel polish but this place charges $28 for a pedicure plus an additional $17 for gel polish bringing a standard pedicure to a whopping $45. My nails were a full set and I was told they would be $30 when I walked in the door, I got gel on my nails as well so in my mind I expected them to be $35 but for some reason they were $57 I am a local and I stopped by after work because my salon was closed so they could very well have gotten a new customer but I will absolutely never go there again because of how expensive they were. My nails look great and my technician was very attentive and made sure that I was happy but I'm just not sure why someone would come back when they can pay $50 somewhere else. If they had told me how much the price increases were, I wouldn't have anything to be upset about but they made no mention of all the extra charges. While I was at the pedicure chair, I saw two other people questioning their totals and they had to have it explained to them so unfortunately it looks like it is standard practice for them to not disclose additional charges. read more

This was my first time getting Healthy Nails and I didn't know much about them. The lady at the front counter took the time out to explain what the process was. Richard did an excellent job on my nails! He found that I was new and explained everything that he was going to do to make the experience more comfortable. When he noticed one nail was a bit messy, he fixed immediately. My experience here solidified a return visit. I will come here for my wedding nail set as well! read more

I received a gel pedicure with the most basic (cheapest) service you could choose. First of all they charge an extra $17 just to add gel color. My total for the pedicure alone was $60. On top of it all the lady was so rough and ended up cutting my skin on my nail. Then for my nails I had dip powder done. I chose a pink color in which they did not have, and the lady offered me an alternative color that was supposed to be similar. It was not pink at ALL. It looks clear! On top of that I had acrylic tips put on and you can see the tip extensions because the color is so see through. I will never go back. read more

This place used to be good years ago. Now it's changed name and ownership it's really bad. The prices have increased something ridiculous and they are so greedy now. They charge for gel removal which is something that should be complimentary if you are having a gel manicure again and they charge for glitter, length and certain colours. Signature Nails in the same mall is much better than this place and I'm surprised that people still want to go here. Don't waste your hard earned money giving it to these people. You will get a bang average treatment for extortion in return. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER. DO NOT GO HERE. I got GEL on my fingers on Friday afternoon and it was COMPLETELY OFF by Monday. I have been going to this nail salon for many years. The best perk that sets them apart is the built in massages...arms during towel foot wrap and neck,shoulder and back while drying....no extra fee and I have not experienced this level of service anywhere else. They recently had a salon makeover and they offer a huge variety of polish choices. I love that they are located in the Florida Mall and open on Sunday! You can count on good, quick, sanitary and professional service. Regulars are treated like family and I love that. Hannah and May are the best! I stopped in here in July because I was staying at the hotel attached to the mall with time to kill. I made an appointment and that all went smoothly. The woman doing my pedicure didn't chat with me but that was OK because I was tired from traveling and wanted to just relax anyways. They do a little shoulder massage for you when you get a manicure which is nice. My only complaint was I thought the woman grabbed the wrong color for my nails. I mentioned after the second coat that they didn't look right and she told me to wait. So after the third coat they still weren't right and I brought it up again so then she hurried away to grab her manager who completely understood and told the woman doing my nails to grab the color I asked for. After one more coat they still weren't right but I felt uncomfortable because my nail technician was now annoyed with me and I was ready to just say "good enough." read more
