Haha! The shop accepts donations of light furniture, decorative household items and collectibles. A much better option to donate your gently used home decor, collectibles and light furniture because you know EXACTLY where the funds are going from the sale of your donated and purchased items. The sales person was very helpful, explained the differences, and made suggestions. They gave us a delivery date and stuck to it. (we even went back and bought some awsome pillows) We price shopped before we bought (as best we could, using the internet to find which mattresses are the same as which other mattresses because national chains rename mattresses to make it harder to compare). Turns out the mattress we purchased at Mattresses & More for $1249 (and free delivery and haul away), was the same mattress we liked at Mattress Firm but they wanted $1549 (on sale) plus $59 for delivery and haul away.

After getting the run around from the store for several weeks and after repeated calls to them, they indicated there was a problem with the delivery company (I later found out that the original company contracted to deliver was no longer servicing this manufacturer.) The bed finally arrived, almost a month later ,and all was good (until the bed started sagging where I slept. I decided to rotate the bed, this is when I noticed that the bed tag said "sample" on it. This surprised me because I did not purchase a floor sample and why did I have to wait a month if I did. I contacted the store and told Jen that I did not purchase a floor sample and was very unhappy about this. She said that the floor sample was never on the floor and stored in their storage area downstairs. Her word to mine that it was never on the floor. To make a long story short. This situation has gone on for six months now. I am still getting the run around from the store and Jen. She says she is the manager and the decision is hers to make. According to Manager Jen, this is a reputable family run business that has been around for many years. I believe she was insinuating that they are a good firm. I would have agreed initially, as I decided to make this very large purchase from them. Purchasing a new mattress is a very costly undertaking and I did not make the decision easily. To resolve the issue, Jen wants me to use the warranty on the bed (provided by a third party), which will allow a new bed selection. I don't want to choose a new bed from a new bed manufacturer after I researched and found what I thought was the perfect bed. I am not happy. I will not refer anyone to this company ever again. By the way, the bed I selected, after researching beds for more than 1 year, is no longer being sold by this company. Basically, for six months I was under the impression that they would replace the bed once it became available. Not so. I am done! No recommendations coming from St. Louis for Mattresses and More!

I recently moved to this area. Shopping was great Kenny (I apologize I don't recall the female who…read moreassisted us) but she was good but new. Kenny helped her though the process. I bought a Samsung washer & dryer, when they delivered it James (who was awesome) and Eric overcame a number of issues but they were successful. When I contacted them about 10 days later when using it for the first time, there was an issue. Kenny tracked down James and he was there to fix things in short order. When the fix turned out to be something more, he was back immediately and worked with the Samsung people to resolve the issue but remained long enough to make certain it was truly resolved. The issue was with Samsung's failure to notify the service people that when installing the new washer it required a pre-use program for the computer function. THANK YOU, James, Kenny and all the people who have made dealing with Missouri Furniture in Washington an outstanding experience. Looking forward to future experience with you.

We looked around for about 15 minutes before a sales lady (Tammy) came out. My daughter-in-law showed her what we were looking at and found out only certain sets were on sale but were not marked accordingly. She asked for all their information before going in to get them pricing on the two sets they liked. She then said that it was going to take her at least 20 minutes to put together a quote ( a quote? what about pricing) . she recommended letting her email it to them instead which they agreed. Tuesday afternoon i called the store manager (Cary) and explained what happened and she apologized and asked how to make it right and offered an additional 20% off. I told her to call my daughter-in-law if she wanted to try to salvage. Instead she had someone named Shannon email a price on one set and not all the pieces and at the wrong prices. I emailed back that it was embarrassing and to have Cary call me and to date no call back. This store will not be in business much longer treating customers the way we were treated. Don't waste your time shopping here, its not worth the stress for prices higher than most in St Louis.
