It turned out that someone was getting robbed, and the lady seated next tot the door was struggling to hold on to her purse. A thief hurriedly grabbed everything else before running out of the door and into an awaiting getaway car. Before I made sense of what was happening, I felt a sick crunch as I bit down hard on the tines of my fork out of shock and panic. I watched the crime unfold as my tongue was feeling the jagged ridges of my broken tooth. Thankfully, Wai Ying bolted the doors and the entrance was no longer open on my next visit.
