Only dentist that I have used that required payment prior to treatment and now I know why. They keep the money event if the treatment was not as promisted. Three trips to this dentist and tooth repair still causes pain I had no pain prior to Dr. Brahmbhatt telling me, after a cleaning, that I needed repair of three teeth. I asked for a refund as the tooth was not repaired and I would seek out another dentist to correct the damage. However, I was informed that they did not refund but would schedule a 4th appointment in a month or longer and see what the issue is. Great Dentist and Hygienist. I moved to Carrollton in 2023 and had a difficult time finding a great dentist many were quacks that wanted to pull every tooth that had even a minor cavity. A neighbor recommended Bain and as soon as I entered the office I knew it was not a racket. They were very nice and helpful. I did need one tooth extracted and restored they sent me to a Medical Doctor for extraction and anesthesia. That was West Georgia Community Dental and Facial Surgery Group. Then went back had teeth cleaned by a great hygienist. Will return and oral surgeon verifies that bone graft was good. Then one of the 3 dentist at Bain will cap the tooth. read more

I went to Bain Dental Group in Villa Rica in April 2022 to have teeth removed and get Dentures well it's now April 2023 and I still can;t wear my dentures and was told there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to spend around 10'000 more to get implants. It took about 9 months to get the first fitting and they were so bad I couldn't wear them. They did not take any time to explain what I would go through and seemed very uncaring. Later seen Dr Bain, but still not very caring. This was the worst experience with a medical dentist I have ever had!! I asked for a partial refund and was told I owed them 700.00 and they would consider it when I paid that!! Pay them to maybe get a refund I think they got more they should have I live in Carrollton Ga. read more

I had the Bain Dental group put Crowns on all my teeth save 1. That one got a filling. $22000. I was happy. Never had to worry about my teeth again. I was happy, until the Crowns started falling off, the one filling falling off. Long story short, got to talk to the Man HMFWIC, Dr. Bain. To fix things, I would be given credit for the $22000 spent and only have to pay $29000 more to set everything aright. Seems Dr. Bains wife needed a new Mercedes. oved Bain Dental before my experience this morning. A few weeks ago, I went in for a procedure, and was told that I could use my GreenSky account, a previous credit I had used to pay for a previous service. Before entering the room for the procedure, I asked Kendall if I am able to use my GreenSky credit, as it's the only way I can pay for the visit. She told me that she had called GreenSky and it was taken care of. I proceeded with my dentist office visit. After the procedure was done, Kendall told me that she had made a mistake, and that I do have to pay for the service out of pocket. I let her know that I could not afford it. She then gave me a Care Credit pamphlet with information on how to apply, and I did take the pamphlet. However, I did not apply, as I was told that my visit would be able to be added to my GreenSky Credit. Today, I went in to get my crown on my teeth. When I got there, I was asked how I had planned to cover my balance. I told the receptionist that I was told it would be taken care of. She then went back to speak with Kendall, who told her that either I pay the full balance today or I will not get my crown. I asked to speak with her, and reminded her of our original conversation and how the miscommunication between Kendall and GreenSky had nothing to do with me, a customer. She then proceeded to say the follow, "Either you can leave right now or we will have you physically removed." I then asked if she was threatening to call the police in which she says, "Yes, I am." She then directed her receptionist to call to police. I could tell that she did not want to call, but was doing what her leader asked. I believe that she did dial the number. However, I knew that was when I should go, as I was not trying to cause any trouble at all. Please note than I am a Black Woman. As this may not appear an issue for most, I do not believe this would have happened to anyone else. I did not raise my voice or cause any issue. I was simply confused and was trying to understand. Once I do get my crown taken care of, I plan to look into another dentist office moving forward. read more

Also his support team is wonderful. They are professional and very kind. I was a patient in 2016-2017. After a "routine " root canal, I ended up with osteomyelitis, lost part of my jaw bone and 3 teeth. I went to him numerous times telling him something was wrong. He treated me like I was a child...I was 46. After being told "he did nothing wrong, and I would have to learn to live with the pain that ran along the nerve on the left side of my head from forehead to chin. After over a month, I woke up to severe swelling. I went straight to the ER. He tried to talk me out of it. I was transported to another hospital after a CT showed I had an abscess under my jaw, that had been festering...after surgery at the hospital to remove the infection, ALONG WITH THE ROOT TIP HE LEFT IN, I spent 3 days at the hospital. Things weren't healing right a month later, and it was determined I had osteomyelitis, and my jawbone had to be "scooped" out. I spent a year with infectious diseases on an antibiotic, and now have grey teeth to add to my issues. I am leaving this today bc he had the nerve to send us a bill over 3 years later for $55. I initially contacted Dr. Bain's office because he was on my Blue Cross approved list, rather than because of a personal recommendation. It turned out to be a very fortuitous happenstance. I needed extractions and dentures. The short version is, I was delighted. While no one enjoys dental procedures, he made an intrinsically unpleasant experience much less so than I could have reasonably expected. Both he and the staff were courteous, exceptionally generous with their time and attention and comforting in their professionalism. This review is for the Carrollton office and I was seen at the villa rica office but I'm sure they are all wonderful! This is the best experience with a dentist I have ever had! The dentist and his assistant went above and beyond to take good care of me and to help me to not be so anxious! Well they did a good job of it! At first I was shaking and nervous but the dr very slowly and gently numbed my mouth ! Honestly it wasn't bad at all for a dental visit! Lol coming from someone who HATES the dentist! Plus my last experience was horrible! I went to uptown dental in douglasville and it was so bad I was terrified to go back to one! Anyway thank god I have finally found me a dentist and he is very knowledgeable too! He really seemed To know what he was talking about and knew how to explain it so I would too! I honestly can't brag on his assistant enough! All the staff were very sweet and nice! I only waited about ten min to see the dr and that was including my paper work!!! So... Subpar experience and suspicious billing practices. Don't believe them when they tell you the cost of a procedure outside of insurance. They will still bill your insurance company and then try to get the deductible from you even though you paid the agreed upon cash price. I would NEVER recommend them. read more

I prepaid for my services, a family tragedy occurred forcing me to reschedule my appointment. I received a call 1 1/2 before my appointment stating I would be removed from the appointment list without proper clarification why and was told that they'd have to contact accountant to issue a refund. I waited 30 mins and called back about my refund, spoke with another associate and she informed me about the policy and that all I needed to do was come in and swipe my card for a refund. I went to the office that day (Monday) and allowed the associate who misinformed me of the company policies to process the refund. That following Friday (Today) I found out the company actually charged my card again almost 200.00. I don't recommend anyone to this establish due to their lack of training as well as charging my card when I asked for a refund. read more

New to Carrollton, Bain was recommended to me. Went in for just xrays and cleaning on 01/22/18. I was told I had a broken tooth and asked if it was bothering me. I said no. I never had any pain at all from that or any other tooth. I was told I needed a crown, deep cleaning, and two other procedures. They gave me an estimate for 1605.00 with my cost being 685.00. They scheduled me for a crown fitting and the other procedures on March 8th. On March 8th, I was told they did not need to do one procedure, so I would get a refund of over $100 credited back to my card after insurance paid their portion. I had an appointment today for permanent crown, 30 mins before my appointment I get a phone call from Dawn at the Bowden office stating I owed 170.00 more because there was a waiting period for a crown procedure with my insurance company. Went I get to my appointment at Carrollton today, I asked why wasn't I told about the waiting period, plus I told them I was expecting a refund but now I owe them more money. I only went in for cleaning and xrays, my tooth was not bothering me. They chose the March 8th appt for my crown. They admitted it was their fault and it was noted in my chart at my original visit there was a waiting period, but I still had to pay them the other 170.00. I paid out over 855.00 for a crown but now I am wondering if I ever needed it in the first place because I could not make out the break in the xray they showed me. I believe I have been ripped off. I have been a patient of Dr. Bain's for the past four years. I have received numerous treatments to include one complete dental implant. I am in the process of undergoing others on my top right. AFTER I had proceeded with the implants, I was told I would have to have extensive surgery on my left side for a "sinus lift," which would greatly increase the price. I then discovered UAB Dental School in Birmingham, AL, where I am currently seeking treatment. I had a consultation today with my FACULTY Endodontist where I found that I have not only had one too many implants (paid for), but they are unstable, they were placed improperly into my jawbone (too far towards my cheek) and the life of the implants would be approximately five years. So now I am faced with either another surgery to remove the implants or allow the dentists at UAB to "bury" the implants and therefore, not use them. Out of the three that were done, there might be one that can be used. So, the moral of this story, folks, get a second opinion before you use a general dentist for implants and my recommendation is not to use this dentist for implants, period. I just wasted about $6K for nothing. read more
