I CANT say this enough she has given me great hope in the dentistry field and I really am losing hope in our health care systems!! From the moment we arrived, I felt that everyone truly cared. What could have been a stressful morning turned into such a positive one -- I got both of my young kids there by 8 a.m. for new patient appointments, and the team had everything ready. They did a full overhaul, came in with information, and showed they genuinely cared about my kids' health now and moving forward. The dentist took the time to go over both kids' X-rays, their oral health, and explain everything clearly. I really appreciated her knowledge and the way she connected with us -- especially since she's also a mom of young kids herself. That gave me so much peace of mind, knowing she truly understands. By 9 a.m. we were finished, and the kids were back to school (with a Chick-fil-A stop in between!) by 9:30. Huge win for us, and I left feeling so grateful we chose this office. When it was put in was told if need be adjustments can be made. But when it came down to it and I told him it was not right he stated there was nothing that he could do everythng was good. The bridge is not in his mouth so how would he know what I am going through. When started to set an appointment to have it removed, received a letter banning me from the office for asking questions and not using there one of there recommenditations for the oral surgan. They want you to use there recommendiation even though was told that it was ok to use someone else.

Upon return, there were no questions asked on whether or not she had recent x-rays, or subsequent inquiries to me (her caretaker) or where she saw the dentist previously, or attempts to locate any interim records whatsoever. Unnecessary x-rays were performed, which were not covered by her insurance. Further, her entire appointment was for prophylaxis and routine cleaning, and they didn't even clean her teeth! Instead they gave her a piece of paper "dental care plan" for an $1800 plan for perio, which was not explained to her, and which confused and embarrassed her. Jen, the hygienist, claimed she didn't "have time to clean my mother's teeth." She did have time, however, to take unnecessary x-rays, which hurt my mom, and to poke under the gums, which further hurt my mom. When Dr. Stacy G. Smith DMD came in, he spoke for my mom far too quickly for her to understand, and left quickly as well. My mom had no idea what was done or what was said or what was going on. No one explained anything to her in any way, shape, or form she could understand. No one asked her if she understood. No one gave her an office visit report, or anything to read or any resources on what she needed done. When I called the office back, very upset, because I felt the practice was taking advance of my elderly mother, I spoke with Amanda first, and asked that Jen called me back. Then I called back and spoke with Alison the second time, after my mother gave me further information on the situation, and said that if the dentist wanted to keep his license to practice, he needed to call me back asap, preferably with Jen. After about 15 minutes the office manager Alison called me back and explained that neither Jen nor Dr. Smith would be calling me to speak with me, and if I felt that strongly, I should take it up with the board - which is what I will be doing seeing as they violated the basic principles of biomedical ethics of beneficence, non-maleficence, and respect for autonomy.

They send you texts and emails that you can click this link to schedule an appointment and the link does not work. Their voicemail message says you can also schedule your appointment from their website or chat with an assistant if you need help but the link to schedule your appointment comes back as "404 error" and there is nothing on their website mentioning that you can chat with someone if you need help.

Office staff and dentist were extremely friendly on a face-to-face basis; however, every visit felt like an upsell of a procedure and every single visit ended up with a billing irregularity. On our last visit, which was simply for annual x-ray and cleaning we were billed extra. When I called both the office and our insurance company the bill was coded as that I received extra x-rays. Since I was having no problems and no cavities, it appears that they added extra x-rays to the billing that I did not receive, and my insurance applied it to my co-pay. When I called to try to straighten it out, the front desk staff admitted that I had extra x-rays and cannot explain why. She tried to blame it on insurance. Isure if they are coding to pad the bill to get extra money, hoping that no one notices.

No matter what I said she continued arguing with me and instead of de escalating the situation she escalated it. All while dentist Sarah watched. Sarah, who should be in charge because she's the dentist, just watched. No matter what I said I was told I was wrong. I looked at Emily and said "omg this is a dentist office why are you acting like this"? After the argument, I went back with dentist, she made me wear special glasses. I asked why. She raised a metal instrument, and said, "these are sharp tools so the glasses are to protect your eyes". I informed Sarah I've never been told to wear glasses so this was new to me. She informed me it's policy and I just have been given the glasses before. Dentist Sarah and assistant Kim took at least 10-15 X-rays, they couldn't get a good one. They were cutting the roof of my mouth from not being capable of positioning the X-ray tool. At that point I got up and told dentist Sarah I had zero confidence in her skills. She flipped it on me saying "if you can't cooperate that's your decision". I kept asking to get info for someone in charge and Emily kept saying "I'm the one you talk to". I told her someone has to be above her because someone signs your paycheck. She laughed again and gave me the other dr phone number. She escorted me out while shouting in a vulgar way "MERRY XMAS"!

I was in severe pain from a back molar and couldn't wait two weeks for their next appointment, and since they don't offer gas for anxious patients, I went to another dentist who could treat me immediately.
