I ordered some large pieces of s4s oak for a small project (8/4 thick, 7.5" wide), since I don't have access to a milling machine. It shipped through fedex within days. The 8-foot long pieces were super heavy so they arrived with banged up edges, but the shorter pieces were flawless. Boards warped slightly after unwrapping the plastic, but were still straight enough to be seamlessly edge jointed with a track saw and aligners (eg. biscuits). Customer support over email was also super quick, when I asked about what sizes to order. Highly recommended, if you need some straight hardwood, and you don't access to a full woodworking shop. Though, it's best to keep your pieces shorter than 4' to minimize shipping cost and damage. read more

Absolutely the best! Im in the middle of making cherry cabinets. Need 1×3 for the raised panel doors. Big box stores no longer carry cherry. Went to local yard. Tons of cherry but not 4 surfaced sides and i dont feel like jointing and planing to dimension. I have purchased from Baird before but forgot how great. Placed an order for exactly what i needed half an hour ago. It already shipped. Estimated delivery 48 hours. AND cheaper than big box when they had it in stock. A+ read more

We needed a non-standard size door jamb (4 7/8ths with a 1/2 inch depth). The local stores had none in this size. I found exactly what we needed on Baird Brothers. I rarely write reviews for any company but I'm making an exception in this case. I had a couple of…read morelarge trees that were old and in pretty bad shape very close to my house. With the crazy weather and high winds we've been having it was time for them to come down and after talking with Tim during the estimate process I knew TB Tree Service was who I wanted to do the job. Tim and his top notch crew were exceptional and the equipment they use is impressive as well . There wasn't a lot of room for them to work but their precision in cutting large sections of the trees and using a crane to swing them over the house to their huge chipper machine was something you had to see to believe. They did all this with safety being their #1 priority and without the slightest bit of damage to my yard or landscaping (and I'm exceptionally picky). To top it all off, cleanup was done so well that the only evidence that major tree work had been done is that the trees are gone - not a stray branch, wood chips of even a leaf remained. Incredible job and I'd highly recommend TB Tree Service to anyone that needs tree work done!

After sending the top picture of the board (plus a pic of the back with specifics) to your brother, he guaranteed that was the tile I wanted. After finally receiving the tile and sending him the second picture, he MUST have agreed they didn't match because he asked for a picture of the box label and told me he was in contact with your rep. I brought the boxes back immediately. This is when I encountered meeting you. EVEN if I had been wrong about this order, which I wasn't , you DON'T treat a customer like that! NO, your prices weren't cheaper, they were actually a little more, but you did NOT charge shipping. That is why I drove the hour to pick them up from Buckeye. Four hours into it...I wasn't driving another two to prove my point. I spoke with the sales manager from Adex in New Jersey, who covers the ENTIRE Northeast, and he confirmed that you do not have an account with them. So wherever you were ordering the tile from, your board would NOT match the official Adex board I had. Tom should have told me when the order was placed that that was not like your board. So it wouldn't have mattered if I wasted another two hours in the car, because you would have said your board is different from this one. So don't try to tell me that this could have been avoided if I had brought the board in. If you were a half way decent sales person, you would have worked with me. Instead, you charged $120 for TWO BOXES to return the tile when it was shipped to you for free. Plus, of course, 20% restocking. I just reread all of the reviews that your customers wrote. They are spot on! So here's another 1 star. You should learn to speak nicer to your customers...hence, your arrogance.
