Don't walk...run to this gem. Hands down the best restaurant in The Villages, Florida. Amazing…read moreservice (Shauna - bar), food and views. I had two apps - the tuna and the fish dip. Both delicious. My only (minor) suggestion is for the tuna, use thicker chips, as the topping are all wet. The chips were saturated- but still delish! Such a great spot. A+++

My mom was out of town so my dad and I went for an early Father's Day celebration. Unfortunately, it was one of the kitchen's off nights as the calamari which is normally cooked perfectly came out rubbery and overdone. Wait staff offered to have the kitchen remake it but my dad wasn't sure it would come out any better the second time, depending on how the kitchen was timing or judging the cook. He opted to get the voodoo pasta which I had ordered as well. The chicken in the voodoo pasta was also overdone and on the chewy side due. Pasta sauce was definitely bland in comparison to the sauce from a special the week prior that our same waiter had said was actually the voodoo sauce. Sad that nothing came out how we'd hoped, especially on a celebration day. One last note for readers: the dining room to the back right of the restaurant is extremely loud and hard to hear even those you are dining with, regardless of the number of tables filled.

This is our new "go to" lunch spot. I LOVE this place. They also offer specials from time to time…read moreand have all you can eat crab legs on Thursdays (I want to say that's around $40, but not positive). I've been 3 or 4 times so far. We went for the $17.76 special that was a 4th of July special. It was $17.76 for a lobster, crab legs, shrimp and corn and potatoes. It was delicious, and a steal for that price. We went at lunch time, so had no issues with them being out of it. They recently offered a $22, 2 lobster special (no sides). I tried to get reservations for that one, but they were ran out of reservations quickly and I didn't want to have to wait in a long line to eat. They offer these great specials with some frequency. If you go around lunch time, they have a Lakeside Lites menu (I'm pretty sure it's only lunchtime and only mon-fri), but they have nicely portioned lunches at a great price. My husband loves the 4oz. burger and fries ($8.99) and I usually get either the fish or shrimp tacos with fries. Most of the items on that menu are under $10 and perfectly portioned for lunch. If you sit outside, the view is amazing of the lake. They have several overhead fans running, so even if it's hot, it's still worth sitting outside. My daughter had the lunch fish and chips and really enjoyed that also. If you're looking for a reasonably priced lunch with a fantastic view and great staff, then this is your spot. I haven't been for dinner yet, as their lunches are just so good. We'll be back again.

We had a chicken sandwich (Zaxby's is 100% better) and the shrimp scampi. I love pasta, but I didn't want to eat much of it. Very bland. The shrimp,,.most definitely from a frozen bag. I wanted to like it, but it just didn't happen. The coleslaw was good, but not very cold. I only ate it to get the pasta and shrimp taste out of my mouth. Normally we would send it back or say something, but we were there with friends celebrating a birthday so we felt stuck. Sorry....but it was awful. Ugh.

Drove over 30 minutes to try the BOGO burgers. Not sure it was worth the trip…read more I always assume "specials" are priced low (for what you get) to draw people in to try the place. There was just no wow factor in these burgers. Swiss muchroom burger had good flavor, but the burger itself was very small. They tried to hide it in an over sized bun. The bourbon burger had a funny taste, but same small burger. The coldslaw was a joke. Came in a plastic cup, with a lid and the cup was probably 1/3 of a measuring cup. TINY. The special drew me in, but it did not make a repeat customer out of me. $16 for one burger (out of the BOGO timing) is way over priced.

It arrived looking wonderful with nice chunks of turkey. I took a bite and also got some avocado that was very overripe. Took another bite, same thing, and then I realized there was no avocado! The turkey was as soft and mushy as an overripe avocado... it was absolutely disgusting and sickening! The server brought me a new salad made with chicken, instead of turkey & said the manager had been shown my salad. The manager did not bother to come speak with me. I was still upset and worried that I would be getting sick from the turkey, & called today to speak to the manager. He acknowledged that he should have come to the table & claimed there had been nothing wrong with the turkey beyond it had been sitting too long in brine.... I cannot imagine how many days sitting in brine it took to turn chunks of turkey breast into literal mush.
