He opted to get the voodoo pasta which I had ordered as well. The chicken in the voodoo pasta was also overdone and on the chewy side due. Pasta sauce was definitely bland in comparison to the sauce from a special the week prior that our same waiter had said was actually the voodoo sauce. Sad that nothing came out how we'd hoped, especially on a celebration day. One last note for readers: the dining room to the back right of the restaurant is extremely loud and hard to hear even those you are dining with, regardless of the number of tables filled.

I tried to get reservations for that one, but they were ran out of reservations quickly and I didn't want to have to wait in a long line to eat. They offer these great specials with some frequency. If you go around lunch time, they have a Lakeside Lites menu (I'm pretty sure it's only lunchtime and only mon-fri), but they have nicely portioned lunches at a great price. My husband loves the 4oz. burger and fries ($8.99) and I usually get either the fish or shrimp tacos with fries. Most of the items on that menu are under $10 and perfectly portioned for lunch. If you sit outside, the view is amazing of the lake. They have several overhead fans running, so even if it's hot, it's still worth sitting outside. My daughter had the lunch fish and chips and really enjoyed that also. If you're looking for a reasonably priced lunch with a fantastic view and great staff, then this is your spot.
