We go here often. Queer o meter 10 of 10. Great staff and great fresh food. It's always pleasant and never disappointing grabbing a rice bowl or burrito from this location. I've had the chickens shrimp and steak - all have been tender, flavorful and a reasonable amount of meat in the entree. First visit, I got a shrimp chimichanga and a chips, guac and queso. I was impressed overall with the cleanliness as well as variety, freshness and portions. I had an unfortunate exchange with person ringing me he seemed annoyed I asked the size of the guac then asked if the queso was hot because (I wanted to see the size of what I was paying fir and the queso I asked because it was in a plastic condiment cup), I had to tell him I had a right to inquire, outside if that it was delicious. read more

Super clean and fresh. I LOVE that you can see the clean prep in the fridge. The servers are polite, fast and generous with the topping. I've never had anything here that wasn;t absolutely delicious. This was my first time at Bajas. This location filled the spot opened up when Moe's closed up. As much as I hated it when they would yell "welcome to Moes" I'll say I miss their food. Bajas was not bad for upper tier Mexican fast food but it just didn't meet my expectations set my many meals at Cilantro (R.I.P.), Moe's (R.I.P.) and Chipotle. Nothing was bad, it just wasn't as good as I hoped. I got the Chipotle Spice chicken in a rice bowl with black beans and a side of chips with nacho cheese. When I first looked at the menu I thought it was cool thst they have some American foods, but after eating I'm wondering if they would be better off if they focused on just the Mexican. This location replaced Moe's so the setup is familiar but an upgrade if you've been here before. Also same concept with the choices of toppings etc. Everything was fresh and made to order. I love that they have a few food choices that weren't Mexican food such a cheesesteak or chicken tenders just in case your peers or kids wanted something else on the menu. The portion is huge. This place is my favorite express Mexican place by a million miles. Food is always incredibly fresh and high quality (especially the produce, which I find is rare for this type of establishment), the service is quick and kind, and if it couldn't get any better, the prices are SO cheap. Like insanely cheap. In a day where chipotle bowls are $18, you can grab a taco shell salad here for like $12. And it puts chipotle to shame. God, I can't recommend this place enough. read more

You know, considering that this is a fast food restaurant it Hass to be a five. Considering restaurants overall, how could a fast food restaurant be a five-star restaurant? I mean, really? Or are The first time I had the chipotle burrito and a bowl I fell in love with a place. I love real Mexican food. I've had it for various provinces, or states in Mexico. I'm not a big fan of Tex-Mex. However, I eat at Taco Bell many times. That's what was available. When my daughter asked what the food was like a Baja I told her, "think chipotle on steroids". In general, pretty much the same general flavor and style that you will get out of chipotle. A good chipotle. But then, add a couple of other cooking styles/enhancements and a broader selection of toppings and sauces, and you get Baja. So, this review is after one visit. I ordered the wet burrito with Roja sauce. I thought it was a burrito with Roja sauce poured over it. It was. Sort of. It is then baked for a few minutes and served hot with some greens piled along the side of it. Woo hoo. Oh baby. You gotta try it. It's definitely the best in this class in the United States. It was 9:50 pm on Saturday and we were looking for food that was open past 10. On Apple Maps it said Bajas was open til a prime 2am so we ordered some Baja quesadillas. We show up at 9:59pm and the doors are locked and the workers are having a blast cleaning up. They let me in at 10 and told me that they were making our order and that ours would be the last. I stood in there for 5 min while they turned the music up and had a good time closing up the shop for the night. Great guys working there, 10/10 would recommend. read more

Visited for the first time expecting something more than I got. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, wasn't given an option of having anything on it, I usually get them at Moe's and have whatever I want on them. They were a little put out when I asked for black beans. It was dry, overcooked and just plain awful! I think I'll stick with Moe's, they do it right! read more
