This place is fantastic! I am so glad I finally made it here. I can't wait to go back. We had out-of-town guests visiting who wanted to eat Mexican food, and we just don't have a Mexican place we think is great. We took a bit of a risk by going to a place we hadn't been before, but it turned out wonderfully! I think the seating in the front of the restaurant is probably better than where we sat in the back -- Felt a little like a cave back there. But the service was great. The food was excellent. I had pork tacos that had grilled pineapple chunks in them. Mind blowing! I cannot wait to go back and get them again. Of course, I'm going to have to go back a bunch of times because I'd like to try a lot of other things on the menu too! Looking forward to my next visit already. read more

They make the very best margaritas-I got the house mango one (actually two) it was delish! Just watch out they sneak up on you (powerful!) uber/lyft home or have someone else drive if you drink two or more of these. The chicken enchiladas were tender, really moist and the sauce was flavorful. The chips and salsa were crispy and had a pop of heat to it. I honestly could not stop eating even after I was full. Tried Bandidos yesterday ! The restaurant is nicely decorated. The place itself isn't huge but we got a booth seat and a high chair for my 1.5yr old. The service was quick and friendly. The coconut margarita was good (a little heavy on pineapple chunks) but very big! I had the mole enchiladas and my husband got the steak chimichanga. My enchiladas were good ! His meal was definitely better . We also had the queso which I would say is just okay. Chips and salsa for the table were fantastic !! The salsa was so incredibly fresh I absolutely loved it ! I went here and it was okay but definitely lacked some things. The chairs are squeaky and uncomfortable. The restaurant itself is strange mostly the layout but it is what it is. The chicken fajita was good but the rice lacked flavor and you only got two tortillas. My mom's shrimp tacos were good but they wouldn't adjust her order to not include the lettuce, tomato and salsa on the taco so it seems a little silly to me. Just to not add something to a taco. My son's enjoyed their chicken tenders but I found them kinda crispy. read more

I was heading to the airport in Boston and needed to find a place for lunch. This had pretty good reviews so I decided to stop and give it a try. I ordered the birria tacos and boy was i NOT disappointed! The waiter brought me some chips and red salsa to start. The salsa was too mild for me, so I asked for something with a little more zing! He disappeared for a little bit and came back with a bowl of green salsa. That was much better. It was tangy with just the right amount of spice for me!! The birria tacos arrived along with a tiny little cup of consume. The meat was moist, soft, and tasty. I ate them with the supplied onions and cilantro and added a little of the green salsa to give them a little kick. If I'm ever in the area I'll definitely give them another try! Maybe I'll even try something else, but probably not. Why mess with a good thing! Oh, and the service was great too. I have spoken! read more

We went in for an early dinner on a weekend. We did not have a reservation, but there were only a few other tables filled and some people at the bar so we were quickly seated. The server brought chips and salsa while we looked at the menu. They have MANY options. Huge menu! We did not order any alcohol. but they have a great drink menu, with 11 different types of margaritas as well as other drinks. We will have to come back to try them! I didn't care for the salsa - it was too watery and smoky for me, but BF liked it. He loved the chips which were thicker than normal, but held up well with the salsa. I ordered Tacos al Carbon ( $16.30) - Three carne asada (steak) tacos with corn tortillas with Pico de gallo and ranchero cheese, served with Mexican rice , refried beans and guacamole. They were pretty good. I would have liked the steak to have seasoning on it, as it was pretty bland, but it filled the taco. The pico de gallo added a nice flavor to the taco. The refried beans were good, but I didn't like the mexican rice - also bland. It was a big plate and I couldn't finish everything. BF had the Angus steak Fajitas - ($19.25) - sautéed red and white onions & bell peppers. Served with a side plate containing, charros beans, cheese, sour cream, pico & guacamole. He enjoyed them, but said the steak was cut too thickly for fajitas to easily eat. I tried a piece of the steak and it was really good (but not seasoned with anything - even salt and pepper). You can taste that it was on the grill! We definitely plan to come back and try other dishes on the menu as well as the margaritas! read more

Yelp asked if I recommend this place ?? Heck yes. We rarely leave our state but hopped the line for an evening in Attleboro and were told by many to try this spot. So glad we did. It was a sat night so a bit of a wait , but it was worth it. The chips are delicious and the salsa for the side was so good. It was all very fresh. I had a delicious margarita and hubby had a beer. The star of the day was my meal. I had a chimichanga with the best queso of my life ! The service was great , our sever made sure our drinks were full and food was correct. Bopping around Attleboro looking for a place to grab a take out lunch decided on this new Mexican joint next to my nail salon. The interior decor was Day of The Dead art, much appreciated. We ordered chicken burrito, shrimp and chicken fajitas and tacos. Not a long wait at the bar (social distance). The service was sanitary and quick. Took it home to eat. The food was packaged well with all the trimmings, refried beans, guacamole and sour cream with a mild white cheese sauce. Delicious. We ate it with a fork and spoon because there was so much filling, again appreciated. Will have to definitely go when they are open for seating. read more

Absolutely love this Mexican restaurant! It's got such quality food and it's really reasonably priced. The salsa and the queso has a little kick and it's so yummy! So many drink options including some dessert coffees. And the staff is so kind, my baby was fussing a little and they all started playing peekaboo with her. The place looks small but it goes really far back and there's even a back room. I am so happy with this place and excited there's one in Attleboro. The food is so so so good!!! read more

I ordered door dash from here, it was eh, doesn't travel well, but the flavors were there so we tried eating in, what a difference!!! Inside is really cute, it was busy so we got seated in the back, which was awesome, quiet and mellow. They bring tortillas and delicious, a tad spicy salsa to the table. We got the choriqueso to start, a bit messy but worth it! I got the quesadilla which came with sour cream, tomatoes and freshly made guacamole, again delicious. Great Mexican, close to home. We've been getting curbside takeout 2-3 times a month in quarantine. The chips and salsa are good as is the queso. I love the bandidos salad with grilled chicken. The bandidos shrimp app is also a favorite. The Diabla sauce is spicy and delicious with the pineapple and mushrooms. Hubby usually gets chimichanga or enchiladas. The margarita mix is also good, on the sweeter side-just add the patron! Looking forward to dining in when they're able to reopen and enjoy a margarita with a salted rim! I'm typically disappointed by food from so called Mexican places but for my meal here, I was impressed. First, I would definitely recommend ordering a virgin piña colada. I'm not a huge fan of them since the pineapple flavor is too dominating but in this case I could taste the coconut more and I LOVED it. Their chips and salsa are also a good start. Their salsa tastes homemade and has a good variety of different flavors from cilantro to onion to tomatoes and everything in between. Now, let's brag about the main meal. For all the food you get, I thought it was fairly priced. The meal is really thin but when you spread it out, it's about a foot long and 6 inches wide so plenty to eat there. It's grilled perfectly, tender, and seasoned well. The salmon was also perfect. It was thin cut which I loved and seasoned with a garlic sauce and nicely crispy. I wasn't the biggest fan of the rice since I was expecting it to have no vegetables but it was still good. The salad dressing was amazing. It was thick and tasted like a mango smoothies and the salad even had avocado and fresh cheese! I will come back and order this same meal from how good it was. The staff is also super friendly and the place it spacious. Despite it being Mother's Day, they were able to accommodate us immediately. read more

As I write this in December 2019, Banditos is well known in Attleboro area as a local hotspot. Everyone in town is excited to see the latest incarnation of this space and everyone is raving about the food at Banditos. I was there with a guest on Saturday night. We showed up early and are so glad we did! We ordered margaritas plus fajitas plus burritos and all were fantastic. Despite being really busy drinks and food were delivered in a timely way - although I got the impression they were starting to get overwhelmed with all of this business. Usually I am very trepidatious about restaurants when they first open. Very often they haven't got the procedures down yet or settled into a reliable wait staff. It takes time to find that balance of authenticity and professionalism. For Bandidos, they seemed pretty immune to a lot of common "new restaurant woes" and worked together despite 1 ...being the hottest place in town 2 during the la salette time when Attleboro and 118 in particular gets a lot of business so please plan ahead - go early or not during peak times. Most entrees run about $10-$12 and portion size is good for the money. Again, all of the food and drinks are just fantastic and served in an colorful and lively atmosphere. For that fifth star I will need to try those appetizers, more kinds of drinks, and desserts. Since longevity and consistency are required too, it looks like another visit is in order :) That is my recommendation for you, fellow Tri Boro area foodies - Go there and then go there again! Be smart and plan ahead and you will be rewarded with some terrific food. read more

Bandidos was very good. The drinks were good and strong, but not ridiculously strong. Their food was very good. I got the La Playa burrito, and it was very good. The shrimp was not over cooked, nor were the mushrooms. The parking is an issue often since their storefront is right on the street, but very much worth walking a few blocks to. The slightly cramped space don't really feel too cramped if you can get a booth table you'll be fairly cozy. The restaurant is almost always very busy in the evenings, and I've never had a bad meal there, so I'd say they're really consistent. read more

This has been a nice addition to the Attleboro area. Complementary chips and salsa, good food and atmosphere. My wife has been ordering the salmon and flank steak entree and it's become our new go to. A couple of cons: we've noticed some consistencies over the years (to the point where we had a really bad experience and didn't want to return), but they seem to be decent now. We ordered the chicken quesadillas (shredded), and I wouldn't suggest that -- it was a soggy mess. While it had a lot of chicken, we couldn't even pick it up. Also, the chairs at the tables are extremely uncomfortable. If you can, choose a booth. read more
