Stefanos will forever be in my Top 5 Pizzas of all time. In Mansfield there are something like 18 places that offer pizza, and this place without a doubt to me is the best. I worked there in my teen years and there wasn't a shift that went by that I didn't have at least a slice, and when it was done right it was the best pizza I have ever had. Tom and his family and the all the original Stefanos crew were family to all their customers in town, and the new owners I'm sure are on their way to being that family for the next generations! And there are still OG's in the kitchen too who have been making pizza for me since I couldn't see over the counter read more

Place used to be great. Changed ownership has gone downhill big time. Ordered a couple pockets one being a steak and cheese you can see from the pictures how cheap they are getting. Not mention the roast beef pocket that is lucky to have two pieces of roast beef on it and 3 slices of tomato you can see through. This is absolutely terrible. Used to go there all the time. This once great establishment has new ownership and has had a newer staff with the amazing crew from past ownership. I find it hard to order there if its someone I'm unfamiliar with. I continuously get things made wrong and no empathy from some of the new staff. Example last week i got a pepperoni pizza and asked for it to be for here. I waited and waited and finally someone asked if i ordered. I told them my order and they said... Ohhh ok and my pizza was sent to my table. I could clearly see it had been boxed and it was ice cold. People eat in expect a Hot pizza... I brought it up and in 20 plus years i never has a complaint on this place. I said its ice cold and one of the new workers said... It wasn't boxed that long. First off it shouldn't Ben boxed at all... Another newer girl said... What do you want ys to do about it... Really??? It took one of the older staff who heard what was going on to step up and say... Rob we will make another one for you. Is this what you want for the future if this place. Stefanos is a staple of this town and we expect Awesome customer service like we have gotten for 20 plus years. A sorry goes a long way so please KIA as a regular who has heard others around town also getting sub par service that if things dont improved there are several options for pizza and subs around town we will start talking our business elsewhere. Tuna lovers may eat here knowing their beloved fish will not be dry nor flavorless. The tuna here has some saltiness to it. It doesn't drip out liquid like no one drained it before mixing yet it is not a dry clump that gets stuck between your teeth. This is your middle of the road tuna. I enjoy this place when I'm looking for a quick bite. I just had the BEST tuna salad roll. It was a grilled hot dog roll, stuffed and overflowing with tuna on a bed of shredded lettuce. I had to use a fork to get to the roll. The tuna was good quality. I'm guessing white albacore. Wish I had a pic but it was devoured too quickly. The pizza is really good, thin Italian pizza. After a basketball tournament game at the M-Plex, I checked Yelp to find where the best pizza close by might be. It came down to here and another place, but I took a shot because there were more reviews here. Two different cars of people drove by and couldn't find it. It's next to the Cumberland Farms, so use that as a visual marker. We got a large pizza, half pepperoni and a meatball sandwich, per our tradition. The meatball sandwich was large, with 6 good sized meatballs and a lot of sauce... too much. Keep a couple of napkins handy. It's a good, solid sandwich. Tasty meatballs, good, fresh bread. Worth the money. The pizza was fresh, hand tossed, solid. Good sauce and cheese and good quality pepperoni. It's really easy to be like the run of the mill pizza parlors that serve up the basic frozen crust, canned sauce, and greasy rubbery flavorless cheese. I found this place while searching on yelp. I'm from a few towns over and there isn't much to be desired for pizza in my surrounding areas. I was willing to travel a few towns over to try out this place. I placed a pick up order for 1 extra cheese and 1 pepperoni large pizza. When I brought it home I was surprised it was still warm which was a plus. The crust is like the hand tossed crust that my family used to make. The sauce had just enough spice and the cheese was flavorful and tasty. I was very pleased with overall taste and flavor. While I haven't tried many of the other places in the area for pizza, this is a great one! Stefano's sits on Chauncy Street (Route 106) in Mansfield, next to a Cumberland Farms, across from the train station. They have a large dining in area, offer take out, and even have delivery. While this isn't exactly what my review should be about, I need to mention their website. I really like the way it is organized. It has a clean appeal that doesn't have multiple tabs for the menu, and then a PDF, etc, etc. You just click on the category you want to look for something delicious in, and BAM(!) you're there. Very organized website, effective and easy to use. Anyway, this is a pizza joint, consisting of a decent variety of specialty and custom pizzas, pasta dinners, salads, subs, burgers, hot dogs, and much more. Prices are fair on most items, and extremely cheap on others. $3.65 for a cheeseburger sounds good to me! I ordered a pizza and burger, and both were great. Staff are hard-working people that are interested in satisfying their customers. Quick service and friendly service. Only complaint is the small parking situation, and my only warning is to be careful of the many pot holes throughout the parking lot. Decent pizza joint in the Mansfield area.
