Cookie display..messy and crumbs possibly a little dusty
    Stephanie F.

This is a small cookie bake shoppe. The staff member in the front was helpful and recommended some options. Display of model cookies I found to be a little disheveled and if your displaying your product I would think you'd want a nice presentation..cookie names kinda everywhere and crumbs or such within the display. I don't know but for me presentation is important and if all you have is a display of model cookies of what the product should look like then I would think you'd want it on point but that's just me. I ordered the mango sticky rice along with the Dubai strawberry brownie the display turned me off so I went another route now that I was committed & in the store personally I thought both were average and for about $40 for the two I don't know if I'll come back. Strawberries tasted old and had a tad sore taste while the brownie was somewhat fresh. The mango sticky rice was meh I mean you really can't mess up on mango sticky rice can you... the presentation and packaging good. All in all maybe I caught them in a bad day not sure will I return...probably not...

Who doesn't want ice cream and cookies at 10am? Facebook and lack of control when it comes to sweets (thanks dad) brought me here. Super tasty, but expensive. Each bowl is $17. Do I regret it, not really, but probably wouldn't drop that much again.

Nice sweet treats but at hefty price tag. Worth trying but not sure I'll head out this way again since there's many other sweet treat options out there. Establishment is sterile feeling and very clean. Service was quick.

Drove 40 minutes just to try this place, so I came in pretty excited... but unfortunately the mangoes were extremely sour!!! like, inedible sour. I ended up tossing the whole thing, which was disappointing. What made it even more frustrating was the experience after. I had commented on Instagram saying how excited I was to try them, then followed up mentioning the mangoes were sour, and somehow both the content creator and the shop's IG started clapping back I wasn't rude, literally just said it was sour. Instead of apologizing or acknowledging the issue, they replied saying they're "unable to taste all the mangoes," which honestly felt like a wild response. Especially because I've seen others mention the same issue! At that point it feels less like a one-off and more like a trend that should probably be addressed. Bummed because I really wanted to like this spot, but between the quality and the response, it wasn't a great experience. Never coming back!

Oh my goodness.... Let's just start there! I had to visit after I saw on instagram they had a soft serve cookie bowl and I needed it real bad and it did NOT disappoint. Absolutely delicious the oreo chocolate chip cookies were so soft and chewy around the edges...this is my type of cookie, the vanilla soft serve was so light and simple, the bowl itself was HUGE! In a time like now, where prices are high, I'm selective of where I go to spend but this place will keep me coming back for sure! They are very fair in pricing with decent portion sizing of bowls and cups, and the taste is 10/10 across the board. Now let's get to the service... there was a very very kind young man working the counter wearing glasses I didn't catch his name but he was so respectful and willing to assist and answer any question this young man was raised right, motivated and brought such a good energy to the shop. It was such a pleasure meeting him. The shop itself is very simple more of a grab and go type of shop I wish there were a few more tables to sit and enjoy in shop especially on hot days as today but over all a very quaint little spot off Decatur and sunset. I'll be back! Thanks for a great experience!

Yummy sweet treat! My bf surprised me by bringing me to this little cookie shop for dessert after dinner. We came by Sunday around 6:30pm and this place was popping! It is located in a plaza with other stores and a mexican/Italian restaurant across the street. It is a cute little shop. It was a small place with 4 small tables. There were 2 small groups so we waited a bit for them to order before we ordered. We got the Scoop a bowl with oreo pieces on top of our soft serve ice cream. The cookie dough was soft and super sweet! It was a good balance with the vanilla soft serve. Pretty good portion size for 2 ppl to share. It is a bit on the pricier side. Just for 1, we paid a little over $18. Sweet treat for a sweet tooth!

Stopped in for a sweet treat on a Sunday evening. I saw the Scoop a Bowl online, and really wanted to give it a try. Immediately upon entering, my significant other and I realized the prices of everything were insanely too high. I paid $40 for 2 chocolate chip Scoop a Bowls topped with cookie butter - no further comment on that. The treat itself was really good. The soft serve was excellent and the absolute stand out. Do I think it was worth the $20, however? Unfortunately, no.

Came here Monday afternoon & there was no line. There was tons of parking on streets and parking lots as well. Got my order taken and came out very quickly. Sat inside and ate at the tables. The mango sticky rice was good except some of the mango was overly ripe and I do agree it is overpriced at $13 after tax. Still yummy!

Wow, what a gem. I'm not a huge sweets person but I was definitely excited to try Bake. I'm not into the undercooked cookies that some of you all love... cough, cough.... Crumbl. Haha. These cookies had softest most moist taste in my mouth while still tasting fully cooked, but baked to perfection. The where received the box was so cute and I absolutely adore that each cookie was individually wrapped such an awesome concept so I was able to gift some and let people try these amazing cookies. I love the dark vibe it makes it very sleek. I can't wait to see what new flavors come out. It's super exciting. You must try every single one of these cookies.

While the cookie and ice cream taste pretty good, ain't nothing in this world worth $18 for a small afternoon dessert. I couldn't believe what the price was... The cashier told me $18.00 and I had to ask him for clarification. We paid for it anyways, and had to eat in our car because there's literally no seating inside. We will never come back. The only reason I rated it two stars is because the gooey cookie was pretty good.

    Are there sugar free desserts?

Hello, We currently do not have anything sugar free yet. We are working on expanding to the sugar free items in the future.

Are their any tree nut free options?

Hi Nadia. Thank you for reaching out to us. We currently have our chocolate chip, Oreo milkshake, ube, and triple chocolate that do not contain nuts this month. We are not a nut free facility. -Toan @bake

Maybe I was right to avoid them…read more Hui Lau Shan is a chain originating from Hong Kong that offers certain fruit-forward desserts, often involving a lot of cold or icy components. Some other spots in town have similar offerings and may be doing a better job at it. I ordered the J2. Jumbo Pomelo & Mango with Sago ($13.95) to share in our group. There was a wide variety of ingredients, generally tasting quite good. The actual mango fruit was soft and super sweet, there was perhaps a coconut jelly topping that was also nice, as well as a coconut ice that felt snowy in texture, a mango custard, and a decent helping of sago near the bottom. However, I wish that the mango ice cream wasn't so hard and icy, and I was disappointed later to realize that we didn't get any pomelo at all. I really enjoyed the pomelo the last time I had a similar dessert. The dining area did seem pretty clean at least, and they offered complimentary cups of water for each of us after I requested it. Napkins are cheap but freely available, and spoons are pretty sturdy despite being disposable plastic. Maybe I'll come back to this Hui Lau Shan location if I'm around Spring Mountain and find myself really craving their brand of desserts. But I'd prioritize different businesses if I were planning a trip.

After so many years of coming to Suzuya. I must say, they are very consistent and by now I think I've tried every regular item and plenty of yummy seasonal items. We love the salads when we're avoiding sugary stuff & pair it with a straight forward Matcha. For the desserts/pastries, my family loves the strawberry cake for birthdays. Me, I don't like cake unless it's cheesecake & they have a variety. Personally I do love the Yuzu Panna Cotta (ya I prolly spelt that wrong). && the macaroons are super great, ima MAC kinda guy, so a variety of flavors is a W! For the vibe inside! I love the music not having lyrics, super chill jazzy upbeat. So it's easy to concentrate for conversations, reading and online work. It's always very clean, constant flow of customers, some apparel & grab n go items. The colors are a soft wood, white and green plants all around with some gold accents and a clean appearance of staff, with positive attitudes. If I wanting anything more from the biz, it would be a reward system & larger sized drinks. I know bigger drinks aren't necessarily good for us, so I get it :-/ haha. Either way, 10 out of 10 biz!

Thank you, Mike, for taking the time to respond. I appreciate your acknowledgment of the other…read moreservice issues I experienced. However, I do want to clarify one very important point regarding my service dog. He was calm, quiet, and completely under control throughout the entire visit. He was not active, disruptive, or vocal at any time. He is a trained service dog, not a pet. I also want to clarify that under the ADA, a person with a service dog cannot be required to sit outside simply because they are accompanied by a service animal. Service dogs are generally permitted to accompany their handlers in areas where customers are normally allowed. A service animal may only be excluded in limited circumstances, such as when the animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action, or when the animal is not housebroken. Neither of those circumstances applied here. So while I understand your policy regarding active or vocal dogs, that does not describe my dog or what happened during my visit. He was calm and caused no disturbance whatsoever. I sincerely hope your staff can be better informed about the distinction between pets and service animals so that another customer with a legitimate service dog is not made to feel unwelcome or told they MUST sit outside.
