Ambiance: The inside is very clean cut and clean. There are a few tables and some seating on the sides. The inside is very bright during the day due to the windows at the entrance. Service: I had minimal interaction with staff due to the process being very "do it yourself" but they were nice and helpful. Food: I ordered a tiramisu and grabbed some cheese rolls. To be honest, I look for cheese rolls to replace portos since we don't hav one here ad I think these will be filling the void. They are more cheese forward but do the trick. The tiramisu I had was good but I do like mine a bit sweeter. It was a very classic tiramisu and I don't really have any complaints. read more

I came here once they first opened. to try their ube honey toast item that was being featured on their social media pages. Unfortunately, the staff said they didn't have any that day and won't be making them until the next time. I was bummed. I think if you're going to advertise it numerous amount of times on your instagram page it should be available especially if you first open. I did get the taro cake and it was good. I adore how small and quaint Milk Bread looks. They have small selection of different pastries and desserts and I absolutely love their $5 bags which are filled with leftover pastries (all still amazing though). Out of all the pastries, I tried. The custard bun was my favorite. As a non-raisin lover surprisingly I really like their raisin coconut bread as well, and the danish looking pastry was really yummy too though... It's not your traditional puff pastry Danish (I am pretty sure they use their in-house bread base for it). I think the other pastry I tried was called.Bolo and I found the pastry to be a bit tough, and it was as explained as having coconut flavor and I was expecting more... coconut flavor. When I came in from my first time the cashier was extremely nice and friendly. They also have very few drink options. But plenty of seating and it's relatively quiet so it would make for a good working or studying environment. Serving Filipino Japanese bake goods. They have a good selection of bread, pastries, and cakes. Their version of the cheese bread is pretty good. Pretzels are soft and delicious. But you have to try their cake slices and basque cheesecake. They have limited coffee selection but I expect they will expand that. They are really great to use for parties and for big events- able to use them and it was a big hit. Only drawback is they are Located at 168 market plaza- the area does get busy and parking can be hard at times. read more

I saw a lot of ads for Milk Bread prior to their opening and everything looked so good! I was excited to try it since they blend Japanese and Filipino flavors. A coworker brought some of their pastries to work and they were delicious. My husband surprised me with one of their cube bread desserts. It was immediately refrigerated when he brought it home. It wasn't even a few hours after he bought it that I cut into it and found mold on the inside! Won't be eating from this business again. read more

Milk bread is the latest Filipino bakery in Vegas by the same people (Elevated Hospitality) that brought you GYU and Moignet. Both places inspired by Japanese-Filipino flavors. Unfortunately Milk bread did not meet my expectation. Not sure if there was a best time of day to come to get fresh bread. We got there at 1:30pm. I got a bag of their Shoku Pandesal Which is a fusion of Japanese milk bread and Filipino pandesal. Japanese milk bread is soft and fluffy. I did not get that feeling. It was pre packaged on the counter top and it didn't seem fresh. It was firm and dry. Also got the MB Cube. Out of the 4 flavors, I got ube. Again, this was already forming a hardness. The guy recommended to keep it in the fridge for best results. That made it hard as a brick and hard to cut in slices. Inside the bread was filled with ube cream. None of the desserts in yhe display caught my eye. But I picked up other small pastries like the chocolate croissant and bolo buns. Once I toasted the items, I could taste the creaminess and sweetness of the bread but the texture just wasn't there for me. I would stick to the Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese or Filipino bakeries with no fusion involved. read more

Since the grand opening, I've been wanting to try this place out. There was a limited selection around 2pm Sat. I got the cream cheese bun to go, and the dough was dry... I thought the cream cheese filling might help it become more moist, but even that was like a thick paste. Flavor was good. Service was good, but I wouldn't come back. Super nice store. Very clean and simple. Nice indoor seating. It's like a self serve bakery like 85 degrees. Where you have a tray and pick what you want as you go. It's really nice and simple. The basque cheese cake was so so good. So melty and has that nice cheesiness to it too! Not just sweet. The other pastries were a little on the heavier side. The red bean bun I would say 85 degrees is a bit better but still not bad. It's a nice bakery to stop by after you done your shopping at teso or the grocery store. So happy we finally got to try this bakery. Walked in and was not busy at all. They had a nice selection of bake goods to choose from-cheese rolls, ube tart to name a few. I bought the cheese rolls so I could share them with others and they were 1- fresh and crispy 2- creamy and not soggy inside 3- dare I say better than a family bakery in Ca that people drive all over to get their version of the cheese rolls ( no hate , just pointing it out ) My only disappointment in the fist visit is that the pandesal was in loaf form and not as individual pieces. I saw this on social media. I wanted to try this ube bread and some sweet dessert. I went and it wasn't busy. Also, not so much variety of breads and desserts. No choice. The only thing I like is that the place is clean. I got home and tried the ube roll bread. It was bland I can't taste the ube at all. The other dessert was okay. Heard this place had cheese rolls, so I decided to give it a shot! Milkbread's cheese rolls are pretty different from Porto's, but I actually really liked them. They're more bready than flaky and not as sweet Milkbread is Filipino while Porto's is Cuban, so I probably shouldn't have expected them to be the same anyway The honey toast is insanely fluffy. I used to swear by Korean milk bread, but this has officially taken the #1 spot for me. Every time I've visited, the staff has been amazing. On my first visit, they even offered to air fry some of the pastries we were trying! Their service is seriously commendable. Overall, it's a cute little spot to grab a quick bite. We stopped by on a Sunday around 11am (two hours after opening). It wasn't too busy but there was a line and a few people sitting at the tables. They were out of a few items but I saw they were actively making more and putting out more stuff. To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed by the selection. I was excited for fusion but this place seemed just like any other pastry shop like this. They were handing out samples of the shokupan de sal (which is what I came in for) and it was delicious. I bought one and a bear claw. The bear claw was alright, nothing special. The sokupan de sal was fantastic and I'd like a larger format to like cut into slices and make sandwiches or something with it. I'd probably not come back to be honest, but I might consider to try the coffee and sit at the cute tables, with a pastry. This was our first time checking it out since during the grand opening it was super busy and everything had sold out. After getting a chance to visit, the vibe is really cute and clean. We bought the cinnamon roll and the ube concha. The ube concha we tried it fresh and it was more sugary than ube-forward but it was still a decent baked good. Sourcing Beans from the Philippines, a $6 cup of Black Coffee frankly disappointing with up-front acidity but no complexity or depth, Bread "Cubes" tally $6.75 and are good the first day but hard and inedible afterwards while slices of Ube Bread taste largely like Bunny or Wonder with a shorter shelf-life. I stumbled across this cute joint while waiting for my sister to shop at Teso with and while hubby was getting his haircut next door. Omg, the staff are the sweetest. I've never felt so welcome before. They were speaking to me as if I've been here before and am a regular! They said something like, Welcome again! Would you like the strawberry cake again?" Aww, I felt so touched. Anywhos, I bought 2 ube cheesecake tarts and omg they were delicious! A bit too hard for the wooden forks provided as I broke one and ate with my hands in place. First, let me give a huge Thank you for the great customer service from the ever so friendly and kind employee this past Saturday 3rd! I forgot to ask her name but it was early in the morning close to 10am. I got the chocolate croissant, cheese danish and a cup of Filipino coffee. The coffee Kapeng Barako was caffeine strong but so delicious. I really enjoyed the croissant and danish as well. The pastry selection is minimal but I do want to return to try more and get their Ube loaf bread. The inside is small but very welcoming. read more

Headed here after lunch next door. This place has been open a couple weeks... there was a line of 6-7 people ahead of me. Display cases with all sorts of breads and rolls on the side a refrigerated show case with more goodies and coffee service. Picked up some rolls cheese rolls and croissants and a garlic roll. Tried a cheese roll in the car. Pretty scrumptious They have the nifty POS with the standard tip shaming screen and I paid tax as well. Not really sure how I feel about this place. I found out about this place A month ago on Yelp and they had solid stars so my husband went and got everything Ube and brought it to me in CA. He brought a lot of items. Everything I had was delicious and actually tasted like real Ube not wannabe Ube aka Taro. I was determined to check them out when I was in town next month. Well next month has finally come and sadly their Yelp ratings were much lower than before, but based on what I saw for myself I think it's fitting. While they had some Ube items a lot of stuff they didn't have from before. They were also very pricey. I still bought the items that I had tried before like the Ube sliced bread and the Ube Pandesal but I felt like they were lacking a lot of Ube flavor this time. I decided to grab a few other items and when I went to check out, I noticed they had hotdog bread next to the cashier on the trays. When I asked politely if I could have one of those, they directed me to go get a whole new tray and grab it myself from the shelf and bring it to them. It just seemed really wasteful for one piece of bread to utilize another paper, tray, and tongs when they just could've wrapped the one next to them. This was a huge turnoff. Probably won't come back, there's other better bakeries in this town believe me. read more

Today was that day - I wish I could give it higher ratings. At first glance, there were some appetizing options like the cheese rolls and milk bread. I opted however to go with the guava cheese rolls which were about $3.50 each. They reminded me of Spanish rolls from Nanding's bakery in Hawaii - so I was curious to try them. I was a bit let down that she didn't offer to heat them up - she said you had to heat them up on your own. Comparing them to other guava rolls and Spanish rolls, it was lacking in flavor and texture. She also suggested I try the mango mochi which was made fresh - my initial thought was that it was a bit overpriced at $7.50 for one piece. But I decided to purchase it. It wasn't too bad (I enjoyed the texture, but it was very messy). If I go back again, I'd have to try the other breads. Hoping for a better experience next time. read more

My sisters and I from California were excited to visit Milk Bread, a Filipino bakery. The ambiance was nice, not like an ordinary Filipino bakery. We arrived around 4:30 pm, and as soon as we stepped in, the elderly lady employee told us that the bread on our left side was 50% off, maybe because they were closing at 5 pm. We bought a lot of different kinds of bread, and the elderly lady employee, who was also the cashier, seemed rude and impatient when we were trying to put our phone numbers in for points. Maybe she was tired because of her age. My sisters told me that the place was nice and the bread was good except for the way the elderly lady treated customers. Every time a customer entered the store, she yelled that 'the bread on your left is 50%,' I told her, 'You should put a sign there.' read more

When we went there around lunchtime, there was no way for the empty, so it was nice to be able to peruse all the different breads and desserts without being rushed. First to say, I was really excited to try this place, but was just a little letdown. We tried the ube milk bread and the pandesal milk bread and was a little letdown by both unsure if it was more of the texture it was neither really really soft like a japenese milk bread should be or the softness of a pandesal. The flavor of the Ube bread was muted but nice if it's something you would like to eat with butter with coffee in the morning. We did also try the red bean bun, which had good filling. We also tried the custard bun which the filling taste good but the bread was interesting. There was a lot of spacing in the bun itself, and the bread itself was not really soft and a little bit on the tougher side. May try to come back to try the dessert in the cold cabinet next. This bakery is located next to 168 supermarket and Teso Life. I heard this is Filipino owned bakery. The bakery looks new and clean. I ordered 4 different kinds of filled bread and cake. I haven't eaten the other 2but we ate the Corn ham and cheese bread, it's priced for $3.75. They put an inch sized ham on top of the bread with cheese and the bread filling was pieces of corn. I thought the bread was a little on the dry side and a little tough and doesn't taste like milk bread. They 2nd food we ate was The hotdog bun, the bun was a little dry as well but at least the hot dog is a full hotdog and proceed for $4. Maybe the bread was a little tough because it's the end of the day, we went there around 430 PM. They have 2 people manning the bakery, and they're courteous and pleasant.
