The space is bright, organized, and thoughtfully designed and every section feels purposeful, from the cozy reading nooks to the tech-friendly study tables. One thing that I find here that is truly awesome is their bookstore. For me, I've bought several books here that I used for scraping in my travels and I absolutely love coming here to buy books for cheap that I will just end up scrapping. You'll find most books are no more than one dollar and amongst all the local public library bookstores that are offered, I have found this one, the largest and the cheap cheapest. Love it! Just be mindful, they only accept cash when making payments. In addition, you can print things out, but you will have to pay using cash only. The library also offers great programs with creative workshops that make it more than just a place for books, but a true community hub. You can find a monthly calendar located inside of different events that are ongoing. Parking can be very hard here when busy. I haven't figured out why they haven't opened the parking structure that's adjacent to it. It's been sitting empty for a months now. I always dread when I'm gonna be going to the library because parking is very hard here so just be prepared spaces are limited. It's one of those rare places where you can slow down, think clearly, and leave feeling just a little bit better than when you walked in. Bathrooms super clean!

It's a great way to engage with fellow readers and get new recommendations. They assisted me with getting my official library card and went the extra mile in getting me a Cantonese language guide that was not on the shelf or checked out. It took them just 4 minutes to go in the bank and locate it. The library is clean and has a lot of sunlight coming in. They have a good variety of books. The patrons at this location seemed respectful and followed the rules. Loved the little Friends of the Library bookstore to the left upon entry that sells vinyls, DVDs and books to support the library. Love the indoor and outdoor parking. Love that the Starbucks is within walking distance as are some lovely restaurants and stores in Victoria Gardens. Loved this Library!!!!!

There's also a DVD section to check out disc and there are also private study rooms. I believe I saw like 3 or 4 rooms. I thought the rooms were pretty cool, since the library isn't always as quiet as you'd like it to be. Getting a card is pretty simple....just present proof of residency in the city and you'll have a card.

Now that I'm older it feels smaller but it has plenty of space for studying and just getting away from your family when you're visiting from out of town during the holidays and getting work done. It's a great 3rd space that's not a coffee shop. I visited this location on the weekend and I was able to concentrate and get work done at one of the cubicle desks. There were outlets in each one so I had plenty of places to charge all my electronics. The area I was in was very quiet so it was ideal for concentration. I recently worked out of the Ontario library and while that one is bigger, it's more crowded and not as clean as the Rancho library. I would definitely recommend this space for studying and it's great for young kids as they always have events going on here throughout the month!

Pay no attention to the low review given by somebody who is obviously not a local and came into town just long enough to leave a negative review behind. This is indeed a small town library that serves a big need. We do not have extremely large limitless libraries close at hand so it serves it's purpose. I have been to many a larger library but this one is special and it's small town to be sure. I love it!

When I pulled up outside this library location, I was surprised to see a pink book drop container…read morewhich was refreshing change from other library book drops I have seen at other libraries. Before entering the library, I noticed a variety of signage on the door regarding library events as well as a touching sign welcoming all people inside the library. Upon entering the library, I walked past library staff and a security guard to explore the different sections within the building. As I stepped into the main library room, I noticed a freestanding hand sanitizer dispenser decorated with a festive hat for St. Patrick's Day. In addition, in the main room is a section of magazines for all ages as well as a display highlighting new fiction and non-fiction books. The children's area was large and well laid out. The young adult area also has clear signage regarding graphic novels, fiction, and non-fiction. There was also separate shelves for Spanish fiction and non-fiction books followed by English fiction and non-fiction books and a reference book section. I appreciated seeing a mirror in the corner of the adult non-fiction area as a way to make visitors feel secure when. I was a bit confused in reference to the literature shelf which had books on the shelf which blocked the literature sign. I really liked that they had a library book sale area past the DVDs bin so that visitors could purchase books and DVDs if they wanted to. Since I didn't see any signage regarding item library book sale prices, I'm assuming one would need to ask library staff at the checkout desk for clarification. As I left this library, I was impressed by the way in which the space is used as well as the variety of items for community members to check out. Although I would've liked more interaction from the library staff (such as a welcome and goodbye greeting,) this library is great place to go for a visit and to study.
