I've had Mike come out and do a few jobs so far and he has been really good at getting the job done when needed. Sometimes it's hard to reach him but his my go too handyman. Update: Changing review star from 4 to 2 stars. Had a project which involves doing 2 small drywall patches & some trim work around outside garage and few quoted was exceptionally high. Mike fees he has quoted before in the past were a bit on the high side but this was way too much for the size of the job. Tried to work with him on the fee and when I asked what his hourly rate was he said "I don't go by hour". How do you quote something if you don't know how long it would take? Guess what! Very very poor work, would not recommend Baker's if you expect the Work to be done right the first time. He was hired through Home advisor to install 2 bathroom exhaust fans as part of a real estate closing. Baker installed the wrong size exhaust fans and also screwed in Hvac vent into the ceiling as covers because it obviously was the wrong size..The space was so open that lots of attic insulation was pouring out from fan when ever it was turned on. We have used Mike Baker for 4 projects, twice for drywall related to water leaks (too bad he isn't a plumber), once for siding repair and once for caulking around a shower. The work was completed on time, cost laid out up front and was professionally done. That, I believe, should be the standard.
