During the second visit, I stopped asking for cost, just gave a to do list then paid with CashApp when done. Subsequent jobs it was hard to get a response as to day/time. Although he seemed nice at first, after the first visit, felt like he was annoyed by me or something. I brushed it off as resting b-face but then communication became harder. He gave an excuse of phone issues but it seemed to ding and dong when he was here. For today's list I pushed and prodded to get a day/time. I did say that I would be home all day in order to work around his schedule. He said arrival 9:30-10am. Great, errands popped up but I moved somethings around to accommodate his arrival. Well after no show/no call, he rings me at 11:50 to say 12:30-ish. At this point I'm done. Getting a response and day/time commitments wore me out. Why am I chasing behind someone to work? My lists are like $500 each and are less than 8 hours of work. Sadly the professionalism that we started with crumbled and died a slow death.

In 2 hours Kevin caulked all the baseboards in our 2BR house, re-caulked the showers in our bathrooms, and swapped out electrical covers. He was efficient, and always generous whenever we made an additional request. We got to know Kevin because another handyman screwed up our TV installation (and scratched the floor while he was at it). Our TV looks great now. Kevin also correctly diagnosed what was causing a leaking faucet from and politely let us know it's not a service he offers. We took the diagnosis of a plumber over Kevin's and ended up regretting it as the problem got worse; the plumber then told us Kevin's diagnosis was correct. (The plumber also scratched up our floor while he was at it.)

It involved completely gutting the upstairs bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, dining room etc... and developing an open floor plan. It also included creating an open floor plan for our downstairs study/family room. He and his team tackled this enormous job with the expertise and precision needed to complete an amazing quality of work. If I have time, I'll add a few pics of our first project. The second renovation project fall of 2025, included an entire roof replacement and installing two attic fans, repairing/replacing vents within our downstairs bathroom waterline and renovating our downstairs bathroom were among the areas that were addressed as well as other smaller projects. Similar to our first project renovation, he and his team maintained excellent communication throughout the project.
