The only saving grace was that the sliced brisket was able to be dunked in the sauce to give it flavor. The sauce is the only reason I rated this meal a 3/5 - while it is a very watery sauce, the flavors blend nicely together and there is a slight kick at the end! Overall though, if meat needs sauce to be decent, it's probably not great bbq in the first place. Maybe this was just an off-day for the restaurant?
