Terre Coffee is a local coffee shop chain. They're more into the "artisan hip" rather than "corporate" vibe. I'm not a huge coffee guy, so I couldn't tell you whether or not the coffee was good here. But my wife is a huge coffee person and she says that the cold brew especially is really good. I usually get a tea when I come in and the teas have all been quite good. The main things that bring this location down to four stars are: indoor seating, parking lot, and prices. First up... there isn't a lot of indoor seating, and it's also not super "cozy" like I want it to be. If you're looking for a place to sit down curl up and read your book while sipping on a coffee on a rainy afternoon they will probably be an open seat, but it's not going to be a comfy open seat, and they will probably be a bunch of other people around. Second, the parking lot is really weird. Half of it is on one side of the building the other half is on the other side of the building it's confusing on how to get in and out of and whether or not you're going into the right side. Last... The price. Look, I'm sure owning a small business is tough to try to turn a profit. But coffee and tea just shouldn't be this expensive. I think I might have to make a rule for all coffee shops that no coffee shop can get five stars unless it's not super expensive. I do want to say before I go, that everyone who works here is super friendly and welcoming. I've really appreciated the people who work here every time that I've been in. They're also really great with my kids, and I have four little kids, and it's a nice touch when you bring them into establishment where people are cool and treat them well. But it's a really nice local coffee shop. Definitely worth checking out. read more

I'm not sure why it took me so long to make it in, but we finally went and were very disappointed that no workers were wearing masks. We are both frontline healthcare workers, with my husband working in the ICU, it feels like a total slap in the face to see businesses neglect this simple measure when watch our patients die, get put on life support, etc. Between the Bible verses on the cups and the worship music playing (which I do not mind and they are free to do), I assume this place is run by Christian owners - I wonder why they choose to not take Covid precautions for "when I was sick you looked after me." I realize Covid is very polarizing in this region, but it seems in food service there is no excuse. Some positives: clean, fast, lots of seating, food options for different diet needs, drive through Negatives: no masks, wrong order 2x (the first time I asked to remake, the second time I just let it go), basic coffee offerings. With so many "artisan" coffee shops around town to choose from, I will not be running back here any time soon. read more

We've been to both Terra in CDA and Post Falls. Usually all is fine. Today bad experience! We went in Saturday AM maybe 8ish. Ordered our coffee and pastries. Got our pastries within a couple of minutes. Coffee (one coffee drink and one Americano) at least 15 minutes+ My husband finished his cinnamon roll and I nursed my muffin. Would like to have our drinks WITH our pastries. Finally my husband got up and asked about our coffee drinks and they said the drive thru customers are a priority. What ever happened to first come first serve?????? Finally got our coffee which we brought home. I had a few sips of my americano and finished my muffin. Don't really like eating and drinking my coffee in stages in tow different locations. Not a good way to start my day. read more

Engaging, friendly staff pulling quality shots of coffee. The baked goods were a little thin by time I arrived late Sunday morning but I was there for the gluten free scones more than anything. The food critic in me should have bought both variety but my belly is still recovering from all the food I've eaten this weekend, so I settled on a double chocolate scone and bypassed the white chocolate raspberry. This is more like a mini cake than a scone; it lacks the density and buttery nature of a true scone but it's tasty nonetheless and big enough for two people to get their fill. Despite the name, the bulk of the chocolate flavor comes from the chips; it tastes as though there is almond extract in the main batter that makes this more like a chocolate Cherry flavor. I regret not trying the white chocolate raspberry as well. If you are here for coffee you'll enjoy the quality of coffee used and the ability of the barista to pull a shot. Definitely better than Starbucks; they use a medium roast so the subtle flavors can come through. read more

Stopped by and picked up a few baked goods and all were delicious. The savory bacon and cheddar cheese scone is warmed up and it is great, it may not be for everyone since it does have bigger pieces of bacon that may prove to "fatty" for some. The double chocolate gluten free scone is light and not overly sweet. The blueberry scone has large blueberries and is light. The cinnamon roll is not dense and the glaze lightly covers it. All of the goods we had seemed to be light tasting, very enjoyable. read more

Great coffee, had to visit here three times in two days. Nice decor with plenty of seating with couches and chairs and tables. Staff was great and remembered us on each return visit, friendly smiles extra treats what more could you ask for..... wait I know..... the best most moist and delicious cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Two the first day, four the second day, and three more for good on the way out of town. I'm gonna miss those warm buns right out of the oven.... My wife and I were visiting relatives in Coeur d'Alene and made it a point to try a new breakfast place every day that we were there. We stopped by Terre Coffee & Bakery around 7:00 AM and there were only a few customers inside. We each ordered one of the breakfast bagel sandwiches (jalopeno cheddar) and a cup of coffee. Let me tell you something. Those breakfast bagel sandwiches are solid gold money dollars one of the best things I've ever eaten. The bagels are made in house, but they aren't exactly like a traditional bagel. They're almost halfway between a biscuit and a bagel and they are AMAZING. Combine that with egg, sausage, and cheese, and you have a winning combination. Once we received our breakfast, we sat at one of the bars and looked out the window. It was nice a cool out, and with our freshly made coffee and sandwiches, we were really cozy. Do yourself a favor, stop by Terre Coffee and get yourself some breakfast. After not having been to Terre in about a year, I was really disappointed. The food is good as always, although a bit steep on the prices, but the presentation and service were abismal. I arrived to the speaker and was met with a young girl who seemed new. I am always willing to give grace to that. I was greeted and asked if Terre sells lotus. The gal seemed very confused and asked how that was made (lotus is an energy drink concentrate similar to redbull that most coffee shops sell). I brushed this off assuming she was new. I ordered a large water, a redbull and a breakfast sandwich. One gal takes my card begins processing the payment and with my card still in the iPad completely walks away from the window. I am then met with a second gal almost two minutes later who then hands me the iPad to leave a tip. A third girl hands me my drinks and seems like she's confused as to why I'm still there. I still hadn't received my sandwich. When I received my sandwich I was handed a crumpled napkin. Every girl I spoke to seemed stressed out. I heard one of them from inside barking 3 or 4 times "what is window waiting on?" This was a little uncomfortable. After I received everything, the large ice water I asked for was in a 20 oz cup with a straw double the size of the cup. The redbull was fantastic! The sandwich was good too, but it would've been nice had it been cut in halves. To clarify, the one star review is mostly do to the service. Having my card sit there was frustrating. Nothing seemed organized, and nobody seeming to have a clue what my order was concerning. I'm not sure if it was the gal barking orders or maybe they are short staffed, but there was not a welcoming atmosphere. read more

After locating on Yelp we stopped in Terre for coffees, bagel, and breakfast burito on the way through to Montana. Mediocre coffees. After a 15 minute wait as the two barristas were paying more attention to the drive through than the counter even though they look right at us several times without acknowledgment. They finally took our orders , coffees first. We waited another 15 and I noticed they were busy chatting and that no one was prepping our order. when asked how much longer in attempt to get something, ANYTHING, I was told "Oh. I completely forgot YOUR ORDER. What did you order again?". 10 minutes later, as they were now apparently in a hurry, we were served our food which led to further disappointment. Description follows: The latte was mostly frothed milk, americano was weak. Tasted like drip Mr.Coffee. Bagel was so-so, packaged? Safeway? Albertsons? Costco! The premade- processed breakfast burrito was by far the worst I've ever tried to eat. I say tried because it and tiny cup of salsa were frozen inside when served. After returning TWICE to reheat I was given a blackened tortilla shell with a warm middle. After two disgusting bites I just gave up and threw it away. I thoroughly enjoyed a cold brew with vanilla syrup & added half & half at the coffee bar. So good, slightly sweet, great coffee taste shining through! It was the perfect drink to wash down a fully flavorful slice of house-made pumpkin bread. My friend loved the caramelo, a hot coffee that combined the sweet flavors of caramel & chocolate. The drive through is super easy and fast! Made fresh ready to go, which is nice! They have a cute area for seating but we ended up going through the outside line. Ordered a tasty iced white chocolate americano, delicious. Mom liked it a lot and was super impressed how it wasn't tooo sweet! We got the sausage, egg on an Asiago bagel! It was pretty delicious actually! I ordered cream cheese on the side but didn't get a knife. And no extra napkins, hummm, she was actually standing there waiting for the food too so she could've prepared the bag full of the necessary items! I tasted my bagel and it was soft and sloshy, I like my bagels toasted on the inside it was but defiantly not enough! I ate the half and then didn't eat the other half! Not the best bagels ever! Unfortunately I wouldn't go back when there is a million other spots! Maybe if I had to remind them of everything and toast it more! What a great little coffee shop! Stopped in while in town for work and I was super impressed by the customer service and atmosphere. They did a great job explaining the coffee drinks and since it was my first time in they treated me to a slice of banana nut bread which was super nice of them. I tried the americrema and goodness it was delicious! Wish I could get it locally where I live, it sort of reminds me of a flat white but creamier and just a touch of sweetness, perfecto! They make all of their own baked goods and also the yogurt they use in their parfaits, very impressive. On my cup of coffee from Terre Coffee it says their motto is to make a positive impact and connection with each person they meet. They certainly embody that motto! My family and I were just passing through CDA on our way to Montana. As is our custom, we always seek out local coffee shops. The coffee was EXCELLENT! My sons both had smoothies and said they were great, too. What made our visit memorable, however, was that the owner (I'm assuming?) took a moment out of his busy morning to chat with us, ask us about our plans for the day, and make a true positive connection. At the conclusion of the conversation, he sent us with one of their excellent cinnamon rolls (his Great Aunt's recipe) to snack on during our journey. I got a simple 12oz latte with coconut milk and it was probably one of the best lattes I have ever had. Not sure if it's their espresso and how its roasted or the way they time the espresso and making the drink, but whatever it is, they make a very good latte! My friend and I also ordered a couple sausage and egg breakfast bagels on the jalapeno cheddar bagel with cream cheese and holy cow! SO GOOD. Those bagels are delicious! I had a nice time at Terre last week. I met there with a coworker. The ambiance is great. It is the perfect place to go if you need an out of office meeting. They have free wifi, you just have to ask the staff to find out what the password is. They have a variety of places that you can sit. If the weather is good (and there is minimal traffic) I would definitely sit on the benches that are outside. It is a really cute space. I had a dirty chai latte (chai latte plus a shot of espresso). It had a good amount of foam and wasn't too sweet. After I finished my coffee, they had some delightful lemon water available for whomever wanted. It was a nice treat for the end of my meeting. I am interested in going back and trying some pastries, they all looked really great. I am definitely interested in coming back. read more
