I was up in the area visiting a friend and was told this shop had really good coffee. They were correct! The coffee is really good! However, the best part was the customer service. I began talking to the barista about beans, roasts, etc. he was super helpful in helping me select a bag. Then sent me away with a few ounces (enough to make two cups)of beans to try out. I ended up at the roastarie in Sandpoint, where they had more bags. I explained the types of beans I like, they recommended a bag. They NAILED it! I LOVE the beans! Other coffee shops should be trained by you guys! I will definitely go there when I'm in the area, and will order some bags. read more

I liked this place. I give it 4-5 stars. A bit pricy but customer service was good so I'll give them 5 We stopped by this place on our way to the airport so we did not sit down but it had an chill / woodsy vibe. It feels very open with a long wooden table in the center and tables on the side wall and by the window with a few couches at that end. Turmeric chai was bomb! Lightly sweet with a light turmeric ginger flavor. And best of all it was caffeine free!! So great anytime of day or for those sensitive to caffeine like me. 8oz was $6 so that is steep for the smallest size but it was good enough I'd come back for it when in the area again. They are known for there hand pies so had to try one of those! I got the mixed berry since they were out of there most popular huckNberry and it was good, pretty sweet for me in the morning so wish I had tried a savory one but had good flavor and flaky crust. I bet the chicken pot pie one is really good in that crust. My friend got a seasonal Latte with pecan I believe and liked it a lot. I remember it so well I came back to review it years later, I still dream of that perfect cup. I'm definitely a snob (black coffee only guy). Came to this coffee shop after reading reviews about how they are one of the best coffee places in the area, and I decided to follow my curiosity and give it a try. Upon walking in, you can see that it is pretty spacious with a generous amount of seating and plenty of outlets for getting work done. The menu has quite a lot to it including espresso drinks, specialty drinks, and pour overs (my go-to!). I decided to inquire about their pour overs and found that they had multiple different options, each with different price points, different notes, and different appeals. The individual at the counter provided excellent service and helped me choose a pour over that enlightened my desires. They had plenty of options from different East African countries and South American countries as well. I went with one of their East African beans and was pleased at the preparation, presentation, and execution. I read great reviews when I was researching coffee shops in Coeur D'Alene and our experience did not fall short. The staff are super friendly and the vibe was comfortable and upbeat. Uncle Rico's Cortado was smooth, bright, and delicious, with a hint of orange and spices. Wow! This is my favorite spot in all of CDA for a treat and coffee. My iced mocha was unreal--so rich and full of flavor. I also tried two hand pies, the huckleberry and peach-huckleberry, and they tasted just like homemade pop-tarts. I'm completely obsessed and will definitely be coming back! I've been coming to this coffee shop for years, and every visit is just as great as the last! It's my go-to spot whenever I'm in Coeur d'Alene. The coffee is always consistently balanced, never too sweet, which is why I love it so much. Today, I had a vanilla latte and their seasonal maple latte both were fantastic. The maple latte had just the right amount of subtle spice. Also, their handpies are incredible! Make sure to get there early because they sell out fast (and for good reason, they're made fresh daily). I wish they would go back to their old mug design though because the new ones are not better. I love dropping in to coffee shops while traveling. My partner and I stopped in for some caffeine and a little remote work while in CDA last weekend. What a great coffee shop! Super clean, spacious, plenty of plug-ins for those of us who still have to work on the go. I ended up ordering a summer special after talking to the friendly barista; when I said I loved tea, she suggested the chai tonic.
