Door Dash....death of the coffee shop experience! This place has been my summertime go to while visiting CDL. Great staff, great menu, nice space on Sherman. On my last visit, I ordered a latte and a bagel, toasted with cream. The lovely barista said "the food is going to be about 35 minutes." Me: 35 minutes???? There were six customers in the shop, if you count the impatient door dash driver next to me at the delivery pickup counter. Sad face. Door Dash estimated delivery to my house was 35 minutes when I checked while waiting for my latte (skipped the bagel). No priority for folks that like to walk down, plop down, and enjoy a coffee and bite. Sign of the times, I guess. read more

They then got my order wrong, and instead of apologizing/taking accountability, they rolled their eyes, yanked the food from my hands and were incredibly annoyed that they had to remake it. This place doesnt have bad drinks or food. They arent crazy overpriced. So whats wrong? They are so slow and inefficient. The only place in town where I've had to wait 20+ mins for a drink after ordering. They are really good at taking orders but they are really bad at getting someone interested in actually making drinks. What really is frustrating is the owner will eyeball the situation and do nothing more than step in and ring in more orders but not fix the bottleneck. read more

I have been coming here for years and it's always one of my favorite downtown spots. At this point I think I've tried everything on their menu and it's all so delicious! I also love that it's locally owned, supporting local businesses is really important to me. I love their coffee better than Starbucks and their fresh pressed juices are very tasty. And you can't beat their unlimited mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays. The staff is always very friendly and the place is always clean. I highly recommend! read more

Came here twice during our stay in CDA, the smoothies and açaí bowls are super solid, but the matcha could definitely use some work - very milky, super faint matcha taste. The second time, we got to-go, they got my order wrong and there was also a hair in my food, which was a bummer since we had already taken it to go. We saw that the workers in the kitchen had their hair loosely tied up and the fan was blowing, which could have lead to the hair in the food. Also, the person taking orders didn't seem super happy to be there and the food took a really long time. Would come back for the açaí bowls and the smoothies, but thats about it. read more

After a while without any drinks I went inside and found our drinks sitting on the counter waiting for us to come get them. This place is awesome. Came here a few times while myself and some friends stayed in the area! It's right on the main strip in Couer d'Alene and you should check it out if you can! It's really simple and open. There are a lot of seats, including some up at the bar. It's clean and the staff is very friendly! They have an extensive coffee menu and they even have some coders and brews on tap! They do it all. They have a bunch of food options! Bagels, breakfast sandwiches, acia bowls (DELISH), toast, and some egg scramble bowls. They fill you up! I had a caramel oat milk latte was smooth and wasn't too sweet (which I prefer!). I ordered a white chocolate americano with soy milk (due to my lactose intolerance) I was minding my mind and looking at the coffee shop, it's pretty inside, and I looked over and the girl was putting half and half into the Americano. I asked nicely if she can make it with soy milk again and she looked at me annoyed and proceeded to spill the entire coffee out right in front of me. She didn't make the coffee AT ALL how I asked.
