Baking Grace is definitely one of the bakeries on top of my list whenever I need a cake, especially for birthdays. Their cakes are incredibly delicious, light, airy, moist, and full of flavor without being overly sweet. I've ordered both the Chocolate Silk and Cannoli cakes, and they've been a hit every single time. You can really tell they use high quality ingredients, and the balance of flavors is spot on. The staff is another big reason I keep coming back. Every time I've ordered a cake, they've been friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating, which makes the whole process easy and stress-free. While I've only ordered their cakes so far, they offer so many other items that I'm excited to try in due time. On top of everything, their prices are very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Great spot !!! I really enjoy the cupcakes and the birthday cakes. Everything is fresh and very tasty ! I don't go as much becouse the kid behind the counter tells me I look like Shane Gillis every time I go. Boss not exactly what I want to hear before consuming sweets. Coconut cupcake...out of this world. Vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with white frosting and colored sprinkles? The frosting on the top was hard as a rock. I'm sure it was fine to be sold, but I would appreciate a sign stating it's not today's frosting. read more

3.5 Overall what I got is good enough that I will return. However the disappointing item was the brownie...not only was it $6! for some reason it was on the dry side and not good, definitely something I would not buy again. The cupcake itself was moist with a nice chocolatey flavor the icing however was a butter icing with too much butter. The banana pie was good but would like to try their other flavors, I wish the crust had more flavor. read more

I was SO pleasantly surprised by this place! We ordered the chocolate cake and the flavor was absolutely awesome!! Flavor, consistency, moisture. They did a great job! People at my party were taking pictures of the cake box so they could go get cake some day! So yummy! And to top it off the staff was so nice accommodating a last minute cake request. The cakes taste amazing but the decorations are very hit or miss. Each time I have been very specific with pictures or asked for plain cakes and decorated them myself with live flowers. The birthday cake I ordered with sprinkles & they placed these round disc candies on it, I wish they would have told me on the phone they were not going to use traditional sprinkles, the cake is very girly due to the pink round confetti sprinkles. The interior of that cake was funfetti which matched the outside sprinkles so it worked out in the end. I also with the name was centered on the cake, but because it was not I just put the candle there. The Super Bowl cake came out great; I drew up the design and they did a great job. All the two tired cakes I decorated myself. The taste of the cakes are the reason why I return but I do wish the decorating was a bit more precise. I do highly recommend ordering in person and bring photos or exact drawings of what your looking for. read more

Delicious cupcakes and cakes! Bought their carrot cake, which has some coconut in it and is super moist with a yummy frosting. Also picked up peanut butter cupcake (so good), vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting, and an oregano cupcake. The crumb and flavor of the cakes is great and the frostings are decadent. I sampled a piece of birthday cake the other day, which was provided by Baking Grace. The woman that had ordered the dessert had selected a chocolate layer cake that was filled with chocolate mousse and topped with whipped cream. The cake was extremely moist and tender. The mousse and frosting were not at all sugary, which was good, but also made the cake a bit bland. I could tell that the ingredients were high quality and that there had been a lot of love put into the cake, so I definitely would love to try some of their other desserts. read more

Great birthday cake for our toddler! I ordered the Bavarian, chocolate cake with whipped cream frosting. Bavarian layer. I am super picky with cake and this was perfect. Not too sweet, not artificial tasting, moist. Whipped topping was not too sweet and fluffy homemade whipped cream. Priced well and was ready on time. Friendly people on phone and at pick up. Their cakes decadent and always delicious. I've had their carrot cake (the best I've had), red velvet, and chocolate cakes. All spectacular. Their small cakes are around $32 and their large cakes about $37. I've tried their chocolate covered pretzels, and the chocolate is so rich. The perfect comfort food. I've had their cupcakes and wasn't a fan, so will stick to the cakes for events and birthdays! Since we tried this place, its our go-to bakery in town. I just wish their business hours were longer. They usually close around 3-4pm. read more

What can I say other than BRAVO! Baking Grace not only did they create the most airy, delicious, and fluffy cake they also were able to take my order 2 days before I needed it. I'm not a last minute type of girl but my original cake order didn't work out and Grace's team were able to step in and STEP UP. The cake design was a combination of two pictures they made come to life in one. They did a great job particularly with such short notice. I think I just had an out of body experience eating my first slice of carrot cake from Baking Grace. Holy Moly. I literally just finished eating it and I immediately needed to leave a review because it was JUST. THAT. GOOD. Carrot cake is my favorite type of cake, ever, and this one from Baking Grace may very well be my new favorite (sorry, Lloyd's). This one checked all the boxes for me - moist, great texture from the coconut, walnuts & pineapple with just the right amount of sweetness from the cream cheese frosting. Carrot Cake is some of the best organic carrot cakes I've ever had. Freshly grated organic carrots, organic coconut, organic pineapple topped and filled with an organic cream cheese frosting. The frosting is organic sweet cream cheese frosting. Will not disappoint! Incredible! read more

Ordered and paid for a graduation cake for my son, when I went to pick it up there was no cake. They said they thought it was cancelled. Told to come back in two hours and they would have it done. Went back and the cake was nothing like the one that was ordered. Grace said that she would return my money, but only gave me a portion of my back. I have called her several times about this and she keeps giving me the runaround that the "check is in the mail." This has been the very upsetting, not only did she lie about the order she is a terrible business owner! I will never order again and will let the people I know about her lack of business knowledge and customer service. read more

Delicious German chocolate cake delivery, with a drip cake finish and real flowers. The staff who answered my calls day after day were very friendly and helpful. They had me email their account to confirm my vision for the cake and the taste was wonderful. We had it delivered Friday for a birthday on Sunday and it held up well in the fridge. Super last minute they were able to create a beautiful Baptism cake for my daughter. It was beautiful and very delicious. Just ordered a daughter's first birthday cake from them and I cannot wait to see how it comes out. Not sure how I haven't reviewed this wonderful bakery yet. Placed a very last minute order for a larger bday cake and a key lime tart and was lucky they were able to accommodate. Don't bother going anywhere else. This place makes THE BEST cakes/cupcakes/tarts. Cakes are perfectly dense and not overwhelmingly sweet. Are a hit at every birthday party - always getting asked where I bought it from. Personal favorites are carrot cake and choco peanut butter but for a general crowd pleaser for bday parties, I typically get the choco silk. Key lime tart was absolutely amazing. Service is prompt and accommodating and staff always friendly. Not a table to sit at for instant gratification but doesn't stop me from indulging in my car. read more

It's happened multiple times where I place my order by phone, drive an hour to get here, and when I go into the store, no cake. They stare at you like you're an idiot and then repeatedly ask you if it could be under a different name, because I don't remember my name apparently. It's a disorganized mess. What's worse is that everyone runs around, pretending to be busy and they do their best to ignore you at the counter. Kids running a retail store is never a good idea. The product itself is just ok but never again will I come here. What's the point of taking the order if you don't plan to follow through on the order? It's insane. I'd give it zero stars if possible but it's not. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. read more

This is our go-to for every special occasion. They have delicious and moist baked goods. We've ordered ahead of time or sometimes stopped by and picked things up day-of and never experienced any trouble. But on holidays you should order ahead or stop by early when they open and pick what's available. We're big fans of the carrot cake! read more

Whoever caused this establishment to have half of their fifth star empty is a tasteless sniveling worm. (My apologies to the worm community) While limited in scope everything the do sell is so exquisite that you should buy it now before the puritanical influences in American society overwhelms common sense and they shut Baking Grace down for sheer Decadence. read more

We had two cakes from here as a last minute birthday surprise- the red velvet and the carrot cake. The red velvet was moist, light and delicious! It wasn't overly sugary, and you could immediately tell it was baked fresh with no additives. I didn't get to try the carrot cake, but everyone said it was delicious. The prices are high for these cakes ($27 each plus tax), but the fresh quality and flavor is well worth it. The shop is very small, kept clean and the staff is wonderful! Originally, we wanted a Barvarian cake, but they were sold out by 11 AM, which goes to show how popular this bakery is. :) read more

Stay away from their red velvet cake! When I brought it home to cut it's not red it's an orange cake. My guests thought I ordered carrot cake! The taste was not red velvet as well. The frosting tasted like vanilla, not cream cheese. Go to Bundt Cakes for a delicious Red Velvet Cake. I wish I knew about Bundt Cake Bakery before I ordered from here. read more

My mom picked up a carrot cake for my birthday this year. Let me tell you, that carrot cake was the best I've ever tasted in my 39 years of existence. I've had plenty of carrot cake but Baking Grace hit it out of the park. I swear they put coconut in the cake. Very fluffy, not overly surgery; just the right amount of deliciousness. Now that I have had their infamous Chocolate Silk Cake, I am compelled to update my review. Best chocolate cake I have ever eaten hands down! Chocolate cake is my most favorite dessert so I've had many under my belt (literally!). Service is also top notch. There was a line out the door on Christmas Eve and everyone was still so nice even if they were busy and frantic getting cakes on top of cakes out the door. I also needed a last minute cake and they were able to whip it up for me the day of. Great service and homemade cakes made with love. This is why I travel 30 minutes with mall traffic to have this incredibly moist cake. Now if I can only get myself to try a different cake... Tip: the 7 inch cake is supposed to be 8-10 slices but with how good it was it only fed 4 of my friends. So always order a size up! read more

NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HAD CUPCAKES THIS FRESH!! We were gifted a package of cupcakes from this bakery. The frosting is unlike anything I've ever tasted, fresh like it was made minutes before I took my first bite. In the past I've always had to wipe off basically all frosting because it was overly sweet and processed. This place is the real deal, the cake is moist and fluffy. The flavors are vibrant with every bite you take. The icing is like nothing I've every tasted before. Not surprised to see this is a five star bakery. I stopped in to this quaint looking bakery earlier today and was happily surprised to see a nice assortment of flavors of cupcakes. I chose a coconut cupcake that was so delicious l. The icing was whipped cream with coconut flakes and the cake was moist with a wonderful buttery flavor. Baking grace is always our go-to for birthday cake. So when we decided to have a wedding we knew exactly who to call. Not only was it gorgeous but the fluffy texture and delicious taste of the cake was delicious. Everyone was amazed that it looked just as good as it tasted! So the two I chose was Pain Jane and Raspberry cheesecake. Both had good flavor to them but over cooked done because was fairly dried it out. I've tasted amazing cupcakes even after it Sat chilled. However I'll be coming back I'm sure to give a second try. Then I'll try another location. It's worth stopping in. You might get a different batch then I got.
