My kids refuse to go to any other dentist! We love it here, and the team is truly amazing with our family.

My experience at this dental office has been a masterclass in billing confusion and a complete…read moreabsence of accountability. It began with my two deep cleaning visits. At the first appointment, only my left side was treated. Yet somehow, the billing code submitted reflected treatment on the right side. When I pointed this out, I was casually told it was "fine" since I'd be returning to complete the other side anyway. Apparently, documentation accuracy is optional here. Two months later, I noticed a $225 charge on my credit card that I never authorized nor was notified about. This included an additional $200 for my first deep cleaning visit (on top of the $300 I had already paid) and $25 for initial films they had "forgotten" to charge me for earlier. What was characterized as a "minor" error by the office wasn't minor at all. Because they submitted the wrong films (a direct result of their incorrect documentation), my insurance claim was denied, leaving me responsible for the majority of the visit cost. No one from the office contacted me to explain the issue. My card was simply charged. After multiple calls over three months and repeated promises to "look into it," nothing has been resolved. The error may have been theirs, but the burden was mine: time, phone calls, and weeks of unnecessary back-and-forth. At my most recent visit, I proactively confirmed with my insurance that I was eligible for a covered routine cleaning. I walked in confident. I was immediately told I owed $68. After questioning it, I was informed this was actually for a prior follow-up visit that was never collected at the time. Interesting how these forgotten balances only seem to surface long after the fact, and always in their favor. After my cleaning, I was presented with a total of $113: $68 for "periodontal maintenance" and $45 for an "optional" mouth rinse. This rinse was applied without explanation, discussion of cost, or the minor detail of my consent. Not only was I never told my visit would be coded as periodontal maintenance instead of a routine cleaning, but when I called my insurance, they confirmed the copay should have been $50, not $68. So even the surprise charges were inflated. As a healthcare provider myself, I find this particularly concerning. I ensure that I document the correct laterality before amputating a limb. I obtain consent before initiating procedures. I discuss options. I answer questions patiently. I make sure my patients understand what they are receiving and what they are being billed for. That's called standard of care. At this point, the pattern of incorrect documentation, unauthorized credit card charges, creative coding, and inconsistent copays feels less like oversight and more like strategy. The front desk staff also appear visibly irritated when asked basic billing questions, as though transparency is an unreasonable request. Patients should not have to audit their dental office after every visit. I cannot recommend this practice and will absolutely not be returning.

The office and staff are very welcoming. I was not looking forward to the deep teeth/gum cleaning that was recommended prior to arranging for the Invisalign but Dr. Steffey and her crew were so accommodating making the process as painless -enjoyable as possible. It was also helpful to me that they thoroughly explained the process, timeframe, and cost from the beginning. If you get a Saturday appointment you can show up early as not to plan your day around a trip to the dentist. For instance, I had a 1pm appointment last Saturday, called at 8:30 am and they said I could come whenever I was ready! We were in and out by 10. Once you get checked in, the staff briefs you and your child on the procedure they will be doing for the day and then you head back to the lobby and your child heads to the exam area. The office is decorated with whimsical themes from underwater aquariums, sponge bob and other children's characters. There are old school video games like Pac Man and Qpert in the lobu which are free of charge. The tv plays the latest in Disney/Pixar while you wait. Once your child is done the tech calls you tower with your child again and reviews any further work that needs to be done, answers your questions and suggests your follow up appointment. I've never seen a child unhappy before entering or leaving Doc Bresler's. The kids also get to pick prizes when they are finished their sppointment and always get a new toothbrush! I would definitely recommend if you have a child who is a first timer or who is fearful of the dentist. They have an orthodontist and they also see adults!

If there was a way to award 0 stars, I would do so!!! When my daughter was about 4-1/2 to 5 years old, they told me that almost all of her baby-teeth molars had to be capped with these metallic like covers... and that it would run about $3,000+!!! They happily informed me that most of that cost would be covered by my (then) great dental plan through work. It smacked of gold-digging & bullshit. I told them I would have to think about it. They insisted I should not hesitate because the decay could ruin her adult teeth forever. I checked around to get a 2nd opinion and found another pediatric dentist on Butler Pike in Conshohocken, Plymouth-Whitemarsh area. Yes, my daughter had some decay, but because her adult teeth were already starting to push through, there was no need to go through the expense to cap all of her baby teeth, let alone the anxiety it would cause her. Extra attention to her emerging molars, using topical fluoride and clear sealants would protect her adult teeth, along with better brushing techniques. This was 10 years ago. She has absolutely perfectly healthy teeth, thanks to Dr. Daniel Rizzo, who now has his own practice in Andorra, (and a great smile thanks to her Orthodontist Dr. Brogan). See reviews on Dentist Daniel Rizzo, he's great! Seriously, do NOT go to DOC Bresler's Cavity Busters unless it is an absolute emergency and you cannot get to anywhere else!

Jamie the hygienist is a gem. First, she is the best listener. You might have no idea until you've been through it how many clinical professionals of all stripes and certifications don't know how to listen, especially if you have a rare condition. Jamie listened with patience and curiosity, took all my comments and concerns to heart, and integrated everything into individualized strategies for cleaning and home care. She is also research-literate and makes recommendations based on specific data from studies on Waterpik pressure levels for example. Jamie's skill is also impeccable, I left with the smoothest naturally white teeth of my life just from polishing and the ultrasonic scaler. During the whole time she adjusted water temperature and pressure according to my sensitivity level, applied topical anesthetic to more sensitive areas and checked in constantly about pain and modified technique instantly when needed. For anyone anxious about the dentist, she tells you exactly what she is about to do and why, so you are never surprised or talked down to and are fully included in decision-making. The little things really are the big things. To the practice, please know how tremendously valuable your hygienist is! Also, the pricing is really not worse than competitors in the area and what you are getting is trust and assurance in being treated well. Rhey are straight shooters and don't push you into anything unnecessarily or try to sell you on complicated package deals. Dr. Weinstock also seemed very kind and professional and I would trust him and this practice with any future needs.

By the time I found Dr. Weinstock I was a mess, worried about insurance, treatment, timing, anesthesia that was safe for me while nursing, and more. We eventually decided that I needed a dental implant and extraction due to the quality of the tooth. Dr. Weinstock and his dental assistant Nancy were incredible at addressing my concerns gently and straightforwardly. I was in their office at least 6 times throughout the course of my care, and each time they remembered to ask about my family, check in on my concerns, and assure me that I was doing well. My implant looks amazing (perfectly matches my other teeth) and the process never surpassed a 2 on the pain scale. If you are someone who deals with anxiety about dental care, I would strongly recommend choosing Dr. Weinstock and Nancy to be your care team.
