First off, let me say that my Spanish isn't very good looking. Since relocating to Miami, it has become very apparent that my California Spanish does not cut it! Had a great experience at the shop on 8st and 67 Ave. Yesterday. Took my brand new Tesla to get new rims swapped, and I was a little hesitant because not all shops have know how on Tesla. I walked in, was met by Glenda, and I explained that I had some very expensive rims I wanted installed on my car, but wanted to know if their staff had any experience with Tesla tire/wheel handling. Glenda explained , in a very professional and passionate manner, about all the work Balado has done for Tesla customers in past. These guys are great. I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I was ready to replace them anyway to match the two I bought from Balado last year. The service guy was insistent on seeing if they could fix the flat. They actually could and he said I have about 3-5 months on those tires. I went ahead and bought new ones. Another service tech was apologetic as he could not get me the price of the tires I bought last year but did save me $10 per tire. The service was fast in and out in about 45 minutes. Balado is a well respected merchant going back to my parents days in Cuba and well known in Miami for good service and value. I recently replaced my tires at Sear, but then one of them got a cut. The ONLY place that had ONE was Balado. They treated me with courtesy an consideration and even as a walk in customer on a busy Saturday, got me in an out quickly. A few weeks later, the same tire was vandalized and had to be replaced. I called Balado, they located on in their warehouse and had it ready for me when I came in yesterday. I was in and out in 15 minutes! On top of that, they waived the mounting and balancing charges, and sold me the tire at the cost, in consideration of the fact my tire had been vandalized. The shop is spotless, staffed by courteous and professional techs, supervisors and clerks. Another great experience. read more

This place is the epitome of a fraudulent business that mistreats and misguides customers! Went to get new tires and they sold me the wrong size for my car so I had 3 tires of one size that were too big (sold to me at Balado) and one normal one. They obviously wanted my business but didn't have what I needed so they gave me the wrong product and didn't even inform me. Needless to say I had no idea that would happen or did happen! My car has had negative consequences as a result. Situations like theses are why mechanics get the bad publicity that they do. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I hate to pull the "young naive woman" card but that's exactly how I was treated at this shop. And then when I called and asked to speak to a manager he had the balls to tell me that they have leverage when it comes to tire size! NO MY FRIEND. My family and our family business had used Balado's services for years.. no more! We are in the produce business and have a fleet of trucks of all sizes that transport all over. We are no longer using Balado for our trucks. They lost not one customer, but many. I have a big family and we would all go there. I have told everyone not to go there and what my experience was because it just angers me that a business can do this. They sold me their expensive Cooper tires when I just wish they would have told me they didn't have the tires I needed so I could go elsewhere. read more

Bought 4 new tires from them, and was driving on the highway when one of my hubcaps fell off. I called the shop, thinking that this would be a easy fix. I spoke to Pedro, who condescendingly told me that it was probably stolen, and that if I wanted him to buy me a new one it wasn't going to happen. Never mind the fact that I have been driving my car for 5 years, and never have I had a hubcap fall off on the highway or stolen. It's just very coincidental that this would happen when I got new tires installed with them. I spent a lot of money with this company, and was planning on making it my go to car shop, but obviously that's not going to happen.
