I went to the window and asked her why she was on facebook??? She slammed the glass window on me. We left and went to Bathesda North. Wow what a difference. If I could give that hospital a -5 I would. I'd never step foot back in there! There is probably good drs there but if that's how they manage things and let there employees act. They need to do a lot of cleanup.

After numerous interactions with my former provider (OB), it became clear he was treating me as an incompetent patient & had no interest in listening to my birth plan. I was nervous to switch practices so late in my pregnancy, but it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The midwives are intelligent, informative, kind, and will do everything in their power to facilitate a smooth birthing experience. I had minor complications which I am sure would have caused an OB to schedule an (unnecessary) c-section. The midwives were supportive & patient, and with their help I had a vaginal birth. If you have a low-risk pregnancy & desire to have a normal, vaginal birth - please see the nurse midwives (even if this means switching providers!) You will not regret it.
