Then as the months passed I would go in for other aches and pains, Dr Santelli decided to run a blood test. I had 4 other medical Dr's at the time with current blood tests but no one saw anything wrong except for Santelli. My iron was a little high, he spent time thinking about it, even when I wasn't in his office, so he wanted to run a different blood test to get a Ferritin level. Long story short, he saved my life. He discovered that I have Hemochromatosis. A blood disorder that shuts down your organs and "rusts" your joints. He started my treatments and adds a special combination to my Chelation IV Therapy to pull the iron from my blood. My levels are great now and I continue with Chelation at his office in Moore even though I moved 2 hrs away a couple of years ago. Following an automobile accident, we used Broadway Clinic to help. I had heard from other doctors…read morethat they often perform services which are NOT needed to run up the bill for insurance. I'm not 100% sure that happened here. BUT, I can say I received a bill along with a medical lien from Broadway Clinic. I ASSUMED that was the full bill for their services/treatment. I ended up finishing treatment at another doctor and left Broadway Clinic. I ended up settling the insurance claim based upon the bills they sent to my house (along with the liens). Much to my surprise, TWO YEARS AFTER the insurance settlement, I received a bill for OVER $3000 for services from Midtown Imaging (two MRIs which were done on the same day). I discovered this was basically another name for Broadway Clinic. They WAITED TWO YEARS to send me a bill and surprised me. I ended up having to pay the bill out of pocket because the insurance claim had already been settled. There was NO EXPLANATION why they waited TWO YEARS. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH BILLING PRACTICES FROM THIS PLACE!
