I have gone to the spa multiple times and each time I've received a massage from Sarah. I usually don't leave reviews, but I really felt the need to show my appreciation for Sarah and the staff. This is my go to to get rid of all the kinks. As a person who stays active I need massages straight to the point. I'm not into the fufu stuff. I have came in like a giant knot with kinks everywhere due to weight training and running and left super relaxed! I usually make my appt online and they text you reminders just so you don't forget. Service: 5/5 they ask you if you have any pain and then tailor your massage around pain or areas that need extra attention. They will also ask you how much pressure you want and this last time due to pain in my neck I asked for lots of pressure and I had tears but it felt so good when I left. The ladies here are so sweet and attentive. I've had their facials before and also amazing. They also have other services such as body contouring and treatments, facial treatments and body treatments. Really great prices especially cause there's no frills you go in for the service you need. Ambiance: 5/5 relaxing music and eucalyptus oil will definitely relax your senses while your knots are being unknotted. Parking: 5/5 I usually park at the lot in the back plenty of parking. This my first time here. I had 1 hr massage with CBD oil with Sarah. She asked if I have any pain or any particular body parts that I wanted to focus on. She was great, I enjoyed it and feel amazing after. Her pressure and techniques were great. The place easy to find with good parking in the back. I said I was going to come back with an update. This was my second visit to the spa about 4 weeks after my first visit . My ingrown chin hair bumps that I had the first time are still gone, and now I'm currently working on fading my dark spots from me picking shaving my chin hairs. This was an amazing experience! I've only had one other massage in my life and that was at Burke Williams for like $200 for 30 min. This was 1000x better! $100 for a facial, Thai massage, and hot stone massage over an hour and a half. Tipped an extra $20 cause I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was for what you got. The only reason I wouldn't wanna instantly give them 5 stars is cause I don't want them to be overbooked so they don't have a spot for me anymore lol. But they deserve all the business that I hope comes their way. This was my first facial and I'm not a big massage guy but this was super relaxing. They even got a knot out that I got in my back from surfing. They take every precaution for hygiene and safety and are just such wonderful people. Update: Moms went in today for her birthday facial and was deeply appreciative from my gift. Fon again provided the service, and did what she does best while naturally friendly and attentive. Bonus points to I think Nina, because my mom speaks Spanish and was able to communicate with the person in front sin problemas, muchas gracias. Based on my mom, this place does superb facials for the price. You don't get quite the pampering treatment as you would in Beverly Hills and the machines might be different but you will be leaving with the same facial results, if not better For less. I enjoyed my experience here at Balanced Body Spa! It was very easy to request an appointment because they respond very quickly. I asked for a Swedish massage and it really helped my body recuperate after going on a turbulent flight the night before. One thing that really interested me was that they offer foot reflexology. I've been suffering from a pinched nerve for almost a year now so maybe next time I'll give it a try. Not a lot of massage places offer it. The service was amazing. They are very polite, and they start off the massage very lightly. Most places I've been to just goes at it roughly without even requesting for it! One thing that took off the star was the service/convenience fee for using a card. I did not completely understand why they charged $2. I guess it was tax? I can't remember the last time I left 5 stars, but this place deserves it. I booked the $89 special for a 30 Min facial and an hour massage and they both were perfect. Since it's something we're all concerned about: yes, they take COVID precautions, but no it doesn't interrupt the experience. I've never had a facial and have semi-sensitive skin, so I was a little nervous. The aesthetician was gentle and accommodating. 5 days later, I never had any of the potential redness and/irritation I was expecting and my skin is glowing. My masseuse was incredible. She asked what I wanted and did just that. I never had to ask for less or more pressure and any awkward positions she put me in, she gently guided my body into. One thing I really liked is they gave me separate envelopes to give a tip for each service. I specifically asked to pay the tip in cash, so not sure if they specify tips paid by card. Zero complaints! I will definitely be back. read more

I live the Asian frugal life and very rarely will splurge on items unless I somehow justify it in my head (or get other people to justify it for me). Thankfully, my best friend booked the 1 hour massage and facial combo at this place for my birthday! I love coming to these types of places instead of the fancy, commercialized *coughnonasiancough* spots because I usually feel so out of place. I was a little confused at first because my friend said she loveess Nina and specifically asked for her, but when I arrived, they said my technician was Fon (sp?). But I went with it since I wasn't the one who booked the appointment. The massage was good. Nice and relaxing although I thought there would be hot stones included and I don't remember receiving that...I do wish she spent a little more time on some of my pressure points/knots. But it was still a good massage. Then when we moved onto the facial. At first inspection, Fon immediately asked "...when was your last facial???" in a very concerned tone. I stated probably over a year ago.. and she then proceeded to explain that my face had many whiteheads all over, i was drinking enough water, and i needed a deep cleanse. She highly recommended upgrading to the hydrafacial because I REALLY needed it. Now usually I immediately decline any upgrades as at those *other* places, it feels like an obvious upsell. But Fon sounded legitimately concerned about my face and agitated upon my behalf. She went to check if she had enough time because she would need an additional 15 minutes for this facial and even told me to skip the tip as long as I upgraded. I appreciated the honesty and I want that kind of brutal feedback because I assume she's the expert! So I upgraded (and still included her tip!) and I'm so glad that I did. It wasn't exactly the most relaxing facial as I could tell she was rushing through it to try not to go too far over time, but I could definitely see the results afterwards. Her honest assessment and what seemed like legitimate concern almost convinced me that I should be booking regular facials despite my lack of "splurging".... so I'll be back for more... read more
