My mom, in her early 80's, has been having knee pain. I called in for PRP injections of her knee. I was able to get an appointment that same Saturday morning. Both Dr Michael (an orthopedic surgeon) and Dr Sylvia (an anesthesiologist) were there. Dr Sylvia drew her blood from her arm and centrifuged it and Dr Michael used her PRP from that to inject it in her knee. Have been coming here since January and I see Armita! The whole team / staff is amazing and so kind! I do Microneedling with PDGF on my face and neck, and sometimes PRP on the scalp! The numbing is excellent because I literally feel zero pain! My injector is great, however I wont come back due to their front desk receptionist. I called today at 1:00 pm on 08/20/26 inquiring about how many units I had in each area of my face. By law, I am allowed to have access to my medical records. She was BEYOND RUDE, condescending, gave me the run around, and rushed to get me off the phone, stating that my injector would contact me. Dr. Sylvia is an angel. I work in the whisky industry and I'd heard the pro move after a night of heavy drinking is to get an IV drip for hangovers. I'd remember seeing IV therapy listed on the storefront earlier that week. After a ridiculous night of drinking too much cheap wine, I called in desperation for a last min appt. Dr. Sylvia came in OFF hours after hearing the misery in my voice, and squeezed me in out of the goodness of her heart. This is a brand new spa. It's very calming and luxurious. But the prices are really good! Hop in before they skyrocket due to demand:-) Also, my boyfriend is a writer, and next time he's on a deadline he's going to get the IV drip for focus, and bring in his laptop! So I normally go to Divante but they became a huge mess and actually closed down. My search for a new Medspa started with looking at Yelp for my new Medspa home. I came across Renu, they are new so I thought I'd give them a chance. First off it says they are open till 7pm, I called just before 5pm and the receptionist tells me they are closed. I was ok with that. I was ok with coming in the next day at 12 o clock. But then the receptionist tells me all the employees are in Palm Springs COVID testing patients. I think having practitioners who COVID test and then do cosmetic procedures THE NEXT DAY is a HUGE liability and a big NO NO. This is absolutely irresponsible. One more thing , Dr Sylvia called me back and began to insist that I changed my 12 o'clock appointment to 11 o'clock so she can be there and assist the person who is going to do my consultation. I told her that I would not be able to make it at 11 AM that I will keep my 12 o'clock appointment and she began to say that Pasadena is not that far, if I can make it at 11:45. I simply told her that my consultation is at 12:00 PM so I will be there at 12:00 PM. I thought it was really weird and kind of unprofessional that they would try and force me to be there at a different time that I set! read more
