I'll be back to maintain the adjustment. I have migraines, and after the adjustment, the pain went down considerably. The hydrotherapy massage was also very relaxing after the adjustment. However, I've still had a couple sticky spots in my back that have been causing me some issues. I went to NuSpine and had a consultation with Dr. Bob and he was very thorough and explained to me what was happening with my back. I was experiencing some pain in my upper back, but it was due to some tightness of the muscles in my lower back. No one I've seen in the past has been able to figure out exactly what was going on, and Dr. Bob was able to explain it to me after one consultation. He is so kind, warm, and friendly. I've felt so comfortable communicating everything to him as we work together to help with my back. I've since gone back to NuSpine several times and met with Dr. Bob almost every time. He always starts by massaging and warming up the muscles - something a chiropractor has never done for me before - and then he does some dynamic stretches with me throughout the appointments, in addition to the adjustment. I honestly had just gotten used to my back pain because I had tried so many different things to get rid of it. While the things I tried definitely have helped ease some of the pain, I still had some existing issues. After seeing Dr. Bob twice a week for a few weeks now, I'm actually able to twist my back without pain or discomfort, which is something I didn't even know I wasn't able to do before, I had just gotten so used to the pain and inability to have much back mobility. A huge thank you to Dr. Bob for creating a warm atmosphere, for your care and your passion for making people feel better. I've had a wonderful experience here. NuSpine has been really affordable as well - it's $69 for 4 sessions per month, and then I think it's $75 if you want to add the hydromassage to your sessions. I would recommend checking out the hydromassage! It's like a warm, massaging waterbed and it's so relaxing.

I made an appointment here after being highly recommended this practice in particular by my midwife to try and get aligned/make sure I was aligned to try and get labor to begin, or in the least to help things go smoothly once labor did begin. I've been told Dr Gunn does have plenty of experience with pregnant people and i was grateful for that. It was easy to call and schedule an appointment, they do have some weird hours on Wednesday I believe, but they are open some evenings so it was nice to have that option. The office was fairly easy to find and get to, it's located in a strip mall type building. The office was clean when I arrived. I had some paperwork to do and paid the fee for 1 alignment which was only $35. (It is definitely more cost effective to do a bundle deal if you plan to be back several times, I wasn't sure if I would be back as this was my first experience with a chiropractor ever). The alignment went well as far as I know haha, there were some limitations as I was 39 weeks pregnant at the time, but Dr Gunn was accommodating to that. It sounded like he prefers to see pregnant people a few times during their pregnancy for best results, but he definitely did what he could. I did some stretching and he used the massage gun on me as well. The room felt like there was enough space, but small enough to feel private. He was very professional and because it was my first time at a chiropractor, I really appreciated him explaining exactly what he was going to do and how it would help/why he was doing it. If I ever need chiropractic care again, I would not hesitate to return!

Dean introduced me to her practice I was in pain at the end of a work day. All I wanted to do was lay down. I also had pretty bad digestive issues. Dr. Dean explained to me you actually need your spine X-rayed once a year because if it's out of line it effects your entire body. I am only half way through treatment and my digestive is a lot better, my back is a lot better. Also I'm going to post my X-rays of my neck. The left is before treatment and the right is half way through my rehabilitation program. The green line is ideally where you want your vertebrae to sit and the red is where it is currently sitting. Check out the picture. Go see Dr. Dean. And get your life free of pain!

As a lifelong skier, the years were bound to catch up to me one day. That day came about five years…read moreago. I put up with aches from skiing for the next three years. I thought it was normal to have some pain straightening up when getting out of bed in morning after two or three days of hard skiing at Snowbird. My friends got sore so I thought it was part of life. Then one morning I woke with a crink in my neck that did not go away after a few days. I've used chiropractors before, and I had a reference for the doctors at Cottonwood Chiropractic. I decide to go in to get a quick fix for my neck ache. I was told that they could adjust my sore neck though the intake would involve some procedures to take in the over all status of my spine. I agreed to it. After a discussion of the technique and going over the results, I signed up for the corrections and therapy advised by Dr. Ratcliffe and Dr. Katalina Dean. This type of chiropractic technique takes discipline from the patient. You have to do your home work, and you have to visit a few times a week. Does that sound intense? It is. The results speak for themselves. Fortunately that year, the snow was not tempting as it was a terrible winter. I committed to doing therapy and when the due date of March 1 came, I went skiing to Jackson Hole, Wy. I have not had back pain from skiing since doing therapy going on three years ago. I worked hard, and the therapy corrected the curve in my spine, allowed the discs to heal, and I am in great shape with good follow up care and exercise. I am not alone in this success story. As I told you, my friends and I have all skied and lived an active lifestlye. I have placed two other patients with CC and the results have been the same for them. They also were up for the commitment to the treatment and the homework. At middle age, if you've lived your life at all, you have some wear and tear, and modern life does not help any, sitting in office chairs, and using a mobile phone. I believe in chiropractic care; my grandfather returned from WWI in 1919 with his arm in a cast for months and became a chiropractor at that early age of the profession because it was the one treatment at the army hospital that helped him and others regain use of bodies damaged by force. I believe even more in this school of chiropractic medicine that Dr. Ratcliffe has practised for decades. To be with Dr. Ratcliffe is to be with a master, a passionate expert who is constantly fascinated by his art and attending seminars to learn more science. Dr. Dean is just as dedicated and proficient. The staff at the office are incredibly kind and hard working. Thank you to all of them.
