He was kind enough to set aside some time for me in his busy schedule. He assessed the situation and explained in a very relatable way what was going on in my spine. He showed me some simple exercises that I could do everyday to correct the source of the pain. I have found in many healing modalities a tendency for practitioners to create a reliance on themselves so the patient will keep coming back. Troy is not like this at all. He does NOT make pain out to be an insurmountable battle that only he can help you with. Though I only saw him the once, I got the impression that he and the staff there were more like a knowledgeable and compassionate support crew ready and willing to help you get back into alignment. When a recent case of hives and swelling occurred, no medicines my 'regular' doctor prescribed helped alleviate it. I went to Dr. Zeng, and received acupuncture, suction cups treatment, and he sent me out with an herbal blend ground up on site by Lin Bin, which cooled the symptoms and discomfort. Lin Bin also is an OMD, and great with herbs and women's issues (according to my friend who sees her) and is married to Robert Zeng. For the cost, you get so much more attention to detail and personal treatment than when you go to an MD. For the record, I do let my MD know that I go to acupuncture, and she is supportive of that.

When I filled out the intake form and it asked why I was seeking chiropractic care I didn't actually know what to say. I had just had a baby, and we bought the family discount pack, so it seemed like a good thing to do. But other than an old shoulder injury I didn't really have any issues. The adjustment from Suzeanne felt violent. I've never experienced an adjustment like that before from the handful of other chiropractors I have seen. And afterwards I was so dizzy that I couldn't drive home for almost an hour. She said it was increased blood flow to my brain after unblocking a restriction (makes sense). But afterwards I had a headache for a week and a half, and this weird catch in my neck that would only resolve if I let my head hang down for a while. My follow-up wasn't for two weeks because we were out of town, and I almost didn't go because of my previous experience. But she came so highly recommended, and I liked her so much personally, that I thought it was worth another try. I at least wanted to discuss my experience with her. The second adjustment wasn't anywhere near as violent, but the headache came back, and I can no longer resolve the catch by hanging my head. Now it's just constant pain. Hopefully this pain will go away at some point. It's been less than a week after the second visit and it took a massage to resolve it the last time (although the massage did not resolve the catch). But what I am mad at myself about is that I took my baby to see her a half dozen times before seeing her myself. Every single time my poor baby was super fussy for the rest of the day or even a couple of days. Suzeanne kept saying "that's not necessarily a bad thing," and I know that's true. But it wasn't a good thing!! Also we noticed no improvements in her reflux or suck. The idea that I might have let her hurt my baby the way that I got hurt is really tough to take. Again, I really liked Suzeanne a lot personally. But at the end of the day, I am in quite a bit of pain now when I wasn't in any before. Shame on me for messing with what wasn't broken I guess.

I had severe pain and an impingement in my left shoulder, constant neck pain, pain in my lower back and left hip and I just felt like a mess. I'd started training for an NPC bodybuilding/bikini competition and thought I would have to drop out because it was too hard to work out with the constant pain. After a few sessions with Nonna, as well as rest and adjustments to my workouts, I started seeing exponential improvements. Within 5 visits, I could lift 25lbs in a lateral shoulder raise when before it was difficult for me to lift 5lbs without pinching and sharp pain.
