I woke up between 4 and 4:30 for months and became very familiar with just laying in the dark waiting for the day to start. If you have insomnia, you feel like a zombie. Everything good in life has a bit of a gray cloud over it when you can't sleep. Jobs, relationships, friendships, everything feels like too much energy when you can't sleep and yet somehow you have to show up for them (or at the minimum your job). I did a full work up, all the way to a CT scan of almost my whole body with my doctor at Kaiser, mostly for the sweating. They couldn't find anything wrong with me. Homeopathic doctors, Chinese herbs, hypnosis, it felt like nothing worked. She brought up some of my soul misalignments which I was aware of, and connected them to some I was not aware of. I had been blocked in several areas of my life, and Lauren help to shed light on these areas. I quickly signed up for a 2 month life-coach program, which I have since renewed for an additional 3 months. Lauren is a life-coach/mentor/spiritual healer all wrapped into one. I have worked with other spiritual healers and Lauren is very different, in that she is mostly there to provide support for my soul while I do the work. She does some energy healing/clearing/chakra balancing, but only after her clients do their own work for several months. She does not "fix" her clients, she simply guides, supports and holds space. She has generated wonderful practitioner/client boundaries, and is still available whenever needed. Lauren is advanced in her practices and it did take me a month or two to get fully settled into the program, and understand her guidance.
