Horrible experience. I hate giving bad reviews... but this was just unsettling. I had a reservation yesterday night on Open Table. When we got there the hostesses were very rude; there was plenty of empty tables and when I asked to be seated at one, the hostess told me NO and that specific table was for parties of 4 only. She sat us at a horrible high top bar table and I expressed my concern that I would like something lower because the seats were extremely uncomfortable against my skin, she still told me NO. After we finally took the high top bar table.... 5 minutes later she walked 2 Caucasian ladies directly in front of us and sat them EXACTLY were I was told I couldn't sit because it was for a party of 4. Unbelievable. (See attached picture) We ordered the truffle bread and the server completely forget about it until I had to remind him 35min later. We sat 45min with NO water until I had to ask the server for some. We waited over an hour for our food and only ordered the Oysters and Salmon. Very small portions and was not fresh at all. I got so sick of waiting at that point I ate it, and it was disgusting. Honestly the list goes on about this horrible dining experience... but I just don't have the time to continue writing. read more

Great place and atmosphere. I was there for dinner with some friends. The Porn Star Martini is my all time favorite drink, so fresh and light, it's perfect. I ordered the burger, wasn't very excited about it, kinda tasteless, it could be done better for sure. The truffle fries with it were soaked in oil. Service is good and the program they have with different dancers is really cool. My friend ordered the duck tacos, they forgot about them so they came to apologize and the tacos were on them which was nice. I would visit again probably not eating or grabbing some small bites. If you do not get bottle service then you will be seated by the back (at night.) Temp checked and mask required prior to seating. Hosts were welcoming. Our waiter was ok, nothing spectacular. We found that we had to call him for our service versus more than him checking up on us routinely. Seemed annoyed. Had my college friends in town, and wanted to hang out somewhere casual for the night! Being in Brickell, and my friends never trying hookah, I thought this would be the perfect spot! Going in, I almost didn't get admission because I was wearing shorts and didn't have sandals lol (make sure you dress appropriate - men I'm referring to you - pants and closed toe shoes!). Moving on with my review, tonight we just ordered a bottle of chardonnay and 1 hookah for the table. The bottle of wine for starters was a Louis Jadot Chardonnay ($55) which was paired well with our hookah. I think the star of the show was the hookah though ($75) as it came with 2 flavors and honestly wasn't too bad of a price. We went with the mint and watermelon flavor which was good. Only thing that bothered me that night was that Balan's, as well as other clubs, have a strict dress code which can be annoying if you just trying to have good vibes and relax. Despite this criticism, our server was very friendly. Also, I learned that Balan has a food menu, so I'm certainly gonna check that out next time I'm here! Overall, we all had a good time read more

We visited Oxygen Hookah during one of our night's out with friends during our Miami trip. We wanted to check out a hookah lounge and found that Oxygen seemed to have a pretty relaxing atmosphere and decorative hookahs that changed colors and had fruit/ ice in their filter water, so we decided to check it out. We went on a Wednesday night before Nea Year's weekend and the place outside was fairly packed, but we were able to find a table fairly easily outside. We opted for the Blue Mist Mint Hookah ($35), which came out fairly quickly. As we expected, the hookah has an alternating tri-color base that changed colors and had fruit/ ice in the water which made for unqiue pictures. The hookah itself was subpar, to be honest I didn't enjoy it at all. It seems like a place to go more for its vanity than the actual hookah. The service was ok, not bad at all but not exceptionally good either. I would recommend going if you've never been and want to go for the vanity, but would skip if you're really trying to enjoy a good hookah and relax. I won't be going back. read more

Ive been to Balans many times over the years. Over time it's just been so downhill. They got rid of their late happy hour (okay, understandable), but the drinks and hookah are overpriced for the ambiance and service. We arrived at 10 and told Hookah starts at 11, so we asked to be notified when it will be available. We weren't told at 11, and then when we inquired we were told we have to wait 30 minutes. On top of that, it was a chilly night in Miami and hookah is only available outdoors. They got rid of their heat lamps for some odd reason, and didn't have any jackets, throw blankets or anything for my friends and I to keep warm. I kindly talked to management for some type of compensation or additional accommodation and was told that this is simply the best they can do. Management was kind, but I expect more from a establishment of this level. read more

Not too harsh as I've experienced in the past at some other places. It was sweet and smooth and the presentation was nice. Oxygen hookah located @ Belans Restaurant is by far the best hookah lounge in Miami. The hookah Pro is a gentleman named Oleg. Oleg is part of hookah royalty. The flavor was perfect, the Art Hookah Temple is a sight to be seen, and there was not one time that there was a burnt taste. I am a hookah aficionado and take pride in my sessions. This little Hidden hookah spot in the middle of Brickell in between many restaurants is a great late-night spot to get hookah. They are in brownie points for me because they are using for fumari and nakhla tobacco along with Coco Nara coals. All of the preparation is in the best, the presentation was amazing. We got a box glass hookah with cut fruits (limes, oranges, cucumbers). It had a light that changed cors and gave the smoke a little flare. The flavors we chose were guava and mint I do not recommend these flavors because the guava was overshadowed by the mint which was barely present. I do recommend mixing peach, strawberry and mint or another fruit mixture with mint. This will make the mixture a lot better and the flavors burst. The music was great towards the end when they started playing EDM and non ethnic pop music which killed the vibe. But overall a great​ outdoor experience. read more

It was POURING and we did NOT have reservations (make one though lol) the host in the front said they would seat us but the tables outside were wet and there were no seats inside (because they were reserved) BUT they sat us in like 2 min because I decided to stick around and just asked if we could sit at a little 2 person table. I also asked if they could just move it more towards the Starbucks and I'd be fine and the rest is history!!!! My birthday was at midnight and when I let them know they brought me out a tequila shot and instead of a candle they had a sparkler!!!
