The food is good but, be careful they will overcharge you if your are not Latino. I ordered a breakfast burrito and the menu price is $15.50 and he charged me $19.00. I didn't notice until after I paid. When I asked him about it, he got nervous and he said, everything went up about $1.50. I told him you charged me over $3.00 and he acted confused. Also, I had already tipped him$2.00. I had my friend who is Latina call and ask about the price and he quoted her $17.64, which makes more since if they had a price increase. Stopped here for a chicken and carne asada burrito. Located in a corner it has plenty of parking. Order was processed pretty quickly in about 10 minutes. I spent the weekend in Seaside and was looking for breakfast near by and came across Baldemiros. We ordered a super burrito w/ carnitas & it is arguably one of the best carnitas burritos I've ever had. This burrito is LOADED & for the price it's definitely worth it. Their service was fairly quick & we didn't wait too long. They have plenty of seating inside and free parking in their lot. We got our order to go and they made our burritos exactly as requested and OMGeee...the flavor with the perfectly tenderized asada is mouth watering. The green salsa is a little hotter than medium and the tortilla warmed and browned just right. Then you have the horchata. It was also delicious with a creaminess to it and hints of cinnamon. Coming into today new year a breakfast burrito was $15! 3 months ago I paid $11. That's nearly 35% increase. I mean I understand prices can't stay the same forever. The only reason I say something is for the price it should be marginally bigger? Not sure but this place has been my go to for a while. Sadly it makes more sense to stay at home and cook now. The service is always good you order in the counter pick a table or (To-GO) they call up your order. They have restrooms for costumers and some tables but the inside it's not that big. Probably one of the few taco place that has reasonable prices . Chicken rolled tacos 3 with rice and beans is only $9.99! They also have ground beef tacos which not many places have. We were craving some good tacos after a day at the beach and this place was close and had good reviews. It was a little after sunset when we arrived but by the time we got our food and headed out it was dark and there is very little light in the parking lot. The signs don't light up and idk if the light post was working, so just be careful. The prices were reasonable though and the shop looked clean. The employee was very friendly and helpful and ordering was easy; it only took about 15 minutes for the food to be ready. We got it to go and took it back to our rental. We tried a crispy chicken taco, the carne asada fries, a carnitas torta and ordered sides of rice and beans to try as well. I personally tried every dish and I am sorry to report that there is just not much to say... The torta mostly tasted like guacamole. The taco was good but very oily. The carne asada fries were flavorless and disappointing and the rice and beans were just insipid. The food wasn't "bad" but everything was so bland I had to scour the rental just for some salt. I am not a person who loves spicy food or too much flavor, so for me it was fine because I don't need a lot. However, if you are looking for good flavor, I would not recommend this shop. read more
