We had a contractor do work on our house to repair the outside, bottom walls of our basement and they only completed 1/2 of the job. Although they finished the actual basement and outside wall work, they left our yard a total mess and never replaced the cement porch they removed to do the lower wall work. They were also going to do grading in the front yard to address puddling and never did, and they didn't do any of the landscaping they were supposed to complete. Our yard was a disaster. TCT Property not only did a wonderful job with the grading of our front yard, they also did all of the landscaping and seeding in the front and back yard, pipe work to address the puddling, and replaced the cement porch within about 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 weeks. Their price was very reasonable, and they are professional and reliable with everything they do. I would highly recommend TCT Property Enterprises to anyone looking for a contractor. We moved last Fall from Indiana where we had a large yard and several large planting areas. A broken wrist stopped me from planting in Spring and early Summer, but I sallied forth today with a list of nearby nurseries. Seely's was first on my list, and I didn't need to go farther. They have an impressive selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, and leafy perennials. Their Hosta selection is the largest I've ever seen. At a guess I'd say they have at least 100 different varieties. It's incredible! The Seely's employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. Julie hauled my cart all through the many plants, giving me advice on what plants would work with my East and West-facing planting areas. When I found one of my favorite plants looking a bit scraggly late in the season, she pruned the leggy parts off and left the beautifully formed inner stems and leaves for me. She was patient as I back-tracked to revisit plants I was interested in. Then she helped me load all my plants and a couple bags of Sweet Peat mulch/soil enhancer into the back of my Outback. I will definitely return to Seely's as I fill out my garden areas in the coming years. And I'll definitely watch for Julie when I do. A few years ago I hired A1 to mow a pasture by my house that was pretty overgrown--really high…read moregrass and thick-stemmed plants and a fair number of small saplings. I like to allow the grasses and wildflowers in the pasture to grow a few feet high over the summer and again in the fall to provide some wildlife habitat, but if it's not mowed a couple times a year, the saplings will get too big to be mowed. Mark did a great job. He went over the pasture twice to be sure he got all the thicker plants cut down, and the pasture looked great when he was finished--nice and even with no thick stubs sticking up. One thing I really appreciate about Mark is that he keeps an eye out for critters when he mows so he doesn't run them over. This was in the spring, and I had him come back one more time to mow everything again in the late summer. I had him come back the next year and do the same thing and he continued to do a great job. Then my brother got a vintage tractor with a bush hog and he loves to mow with it so now he mows the pasture, but if he ever tires of mowing, Mark at A1 is the first person I'll call! I highly recommend him for your mowing needs!
