Over a year ago, Apex Plumbers came out to our house to put in a faucet. The faucet was already…read morepurchased. All they had to do was install the faucet. The plumbers told us that we would need a couple of valves replaced as well. We are two older women who have no clue what that entailed. They talked us into purchasing a Carebear membership as well so that we wouldn't get any more surprises like this in the future.. They had us sign the estimate. The job literally took them around 5 to 10 minutes. The final bill with the carebear membership was over $1000.00. We were in complete shock when they were done in a matter of minutes. We spoke with other plumbers and family members and were told that this company took complete advantage of us. We called the home office and requested an invoice because the plumbers did not give us a written or electronic copy of the invoice for referencing purposes. It took a few days to finally get the invoice. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the customer service agent but they were unwilling to reduce the charge. Fast forward, the company automatically charged us for a new membership this year. I disputed the charge and the credit card company removed the charge. I then called Apex to let them know I would not be paying for the charge because we canceled it the previous year shortly after the original service. They said that they understood and would take it off of the account. About six weeks later I received a credit for the membership. It had been a while so didn't realize that I was credited twice until I received a call from the billing department that I owed that money back to them. They also acted as though I disputed the charge after they refunded the money which caught me off guard. After researching my credit card statement it was the other way around but they tried to act as though I was essentially stealing from the company (not their exact words but it certainly felt that way). They did put the charge back on my credit card which they legally had the right to do. It's just the principle of the matter. Please check other plumbing companies. There is nothing ethical about this company.

Declined to fix the line when a quote was requested claiming he didn't have a hitch post on his truck to tow an excavator to reconnect it. (Sewer coupling was about 12" below grade) and his truck with the hitch was acting up. Didn't have a recommendation for another service to solve the problem when asked for referral. Not prepared to provide anything more than the most basic service on this $75.00 call.

We had a cracked pipe from winter cold that connected to one of our outside spigots. Rob, knew the situation and what we were asking for (I use very laymen terms) gave a quote and kept that quote. He also was really good at responding to questions I had and we were able to plan the work a few weeks out very easily. Robert came a little late, but that was due to an emergency situation with a customer who had a busted pipe at the water meter. You gotta love a professional who cares about his customers, but other than that, he looked at the situation, went to the store to get what he needed and was done within 30 mins (it was very quick). We were really thankful that he also put in a shut off valve so we could turn off that pipe in the winter so it doesn't get cracked again. It really can't get much better, Rob's pricing was great, his communication was 1st class, his understanding and professionalism was all amazing and super helpful. That is an embarrassing mistake. I had to pull it out of the basin to stop it from soaking everything. So now my brand new pump was dry running for a while, not good. Dispatch told me someone might be out to my house by 11 pm, maybe midnight. I declined, that's ridiculous. I was told I was first stop on Sat morning but Mustafa didn't get to my house until after 10 am on Saturday and we had to be somewhere by 11. Someone was supposed to be to my house on Monday to finish and never showed. No communication. Father in law sat there all day. No one showed up yesterday either. No communication. I requested final invoice for my insurance claim. Still waiting on that. I am not satisfied with the incomplete install. I told Mustafa on Sat I am not paying for this stupid hoky club membership and deserve either it comped or canceled. I'm not sure he understood what I was asking. All he did was bring me an EcoFi folder and walked out. Not excited to use Eco ever again so why would I want it? I really hope you guys can make this right. I was warned Eco is overpriced from a plumber friend (he was going to do it for $3100) but I needed it quick and you guys took advantage of it. I work in a heavily competitive customer service industry too and I am full versed in what I have to do when you do a lousy job and need to save face. Eco has done nothing to make this right.
