I highly recommend Jb Foundations. They were punctual, courteous, professional, personable, fair in pricing, even a follow-up call.

The painters noticed some mold and water damage near a few of the walls. I called Ohio Basement Authority and Jordan came out the next day. Having a finished basement makes figuring out if there is water coming in tough, but he walked me through the possibilities, and how we could remedy each one. Not being used to having a basement (I historically lived in *much* drier climates!), I really appreciated the thoughtfulness and attention to detail that he showed in walking me through the different situations. I decided to go with the interior waterproofing. I was scheduled to have my new flooring installed a day later, so the speediness that Jordan came out literally saved me thousands of dollars (and the time of having another floor installed!). Thanks OBA!

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! Ohio basement Authority Wrecked…read moremy garage in just a couple hours. I Had 3 garage slabs to lift. They turned two of those slabs into "7" pieces. I am not sure if I can even put a car on it now. The slabs were still 2" lower than the rest of the floor, but they quit lifting further because of the cracking they caused. They do not fulfill their contractual obligations, but you are expected to pay the full amount. My pool deck they worked on looks like a majong board now. * its been 10 weeks, I still haven't had a rep out to witness the damage to my property. They still avoid calling me when promised, even at the upper management level. Their legal department has allegedly been involved, and I have yet to hear from them (2 weeks now). They appear to be hoping this will just go away. I really would not recommend this company to do any service.

A pattern worth knowing before you hire this company: read how they respond to every negative…read morereview. I'm leaving this as a separate review specifically to document something important -- the way Stay Dry Waterproofing's owner responds to customer complaints. This isn't about one bad interaction. It's a consistent pattern, and it matters for anyone considering hiring them. Look through their reviews yourself and you'll see the same playbook every time a customer reports a real problem: One customer said the equipment sold to them was junk and the company refused to honor their guarantee. The owner's response wasn't to address the equipment -- it was to say the customer "couldn't afford the project," describe their home as neglected and mold-prone, and claim the customer cursed, threatened violence, and made sexual comments. That is an extraordinary accusation to lob at a paying customer instead of simply addressing a warranty complaint. Another customer described serious communication and coordination failures. The owner's response was to call the customer an "aggressive landlord," bring up "toxic mold" as if it reflected badly on the customer, and say "sometimes no business is good business" -- essentially framing walking away from a paying customer as a virtue. A third reviewer, a landlord who paid for an air quality test, found that the readings the company gave him were actually all within normal EPA ranges when he checked them himself -- suggesting the "problem" they quoted him $7,500 to fix may not have existed. The owner's response was to call the review false, claim the customer was "in hot water" over a tenant lawsuit, and say they refused the business for "moral reasons." Do you see the pattern? Every single complaint is met with the same move: deny it, attack the customer's character, and reframe the company as the noble party. Never once is there an acknowledgment of a mistake or an attempt at repair. We experienced this firsthand and far worse -- including threats against my elderly mother and retaliation for leaving an honest review. But even setting our experience aside, this pattern of publicly attacking customers instead of addressing legitimate complaints should be a serious red flag for anyone considering this company.
