Finally, real Indonesian food in Vegas. As someone from Indonesia, I've missed the actual taste of home cooking -- not the "Asian fusion" version, the real thing. Bali Cafe Indo delivers it. I got the nasi Padang with rendang and it was exactly right -- slow-cooked, deep, spiced the way my mom makes it, not the sweetened American version you find elsewhere. The sate ayam had that proper smoky char with a peanut sauce that wasn't overly sweet. Gado-gado tasted fresh and balanced, and the perkedel brought back real memories. The staff are warm and clearly proud of what they're serving -- it felt less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone's kitchen. Portions are generous, prices are fair for the quality. The ambiance is so comfy and homey. Bali Cafe is under a new management and the name is Bali Cafe Indo niw. The food is so delicious. My husband (American) and I was there during grand opening last Friday. We ordered 6 dishes and he loved everything, the crispy duck, crispy chicken, ayam penyet, soto Betawi, batagor, and chicken satay. I took home soto betawi and took it for my lunch the next day and it still delicious. The server is attentive and the ambiance was like eating in Indonesia. The owner is very friendly and greeted everyone. I really highly recommend this restaurant and for sure will come back and let my friends and family know about this new Indonesian spot. read more

The new management is definitely knows how to run the business! As Indonesian I always crave home-town meal, the food meet expectations, nice environment with authentic Baliness painting on the wall!
