This place does a great job on Thai curry. I know many reviews will say "the curry was good" without any details, but let me give you the details. -They seem to use actual whole spices in the curries, you'll see flecks of coriander and lemongrass and such. I suspect they make their own curry paste. -The curry flavors are REALLY well balanced. Someone or some people with very good cooking sense are making their recipes and cooking. -Massaman curry is hard to get right, but theirs has the perfect mix of umami, tangy, sweet, salty. -Yellow curry can often be really bland and just like sweet coconut milk at other restaurants, but the yellow curry at Panna Thai is intense and chock-full of spices (you can see the spice pieces in it, probably coriander and other things) and it's one of their best curries, really excellent balanced and flavorful taste -They take care to prepare the vegetables well, and the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry has the perfect texture, the eggplant is very soft and melt-in-your mouth, I've never had bad vegetables in their curries -The coconut milk is very rich and thick and the curries are thick (not just like water) -Each curry tastes like what it's supposed to taste like and they all taste very different. I think the best taste is in the yellow curry, Massaman curry, red curry, and pumpkin curry. The curries are not oily, no layer of oil or little drops of oil, and don't seem to have seed oils in them (we asked and were told the curries are a good dish if you want to avoid seed oils) -The curries are consistently good and I've had them maybe 15x between dine-in, trying my husband's food, and delivery -- been great every time -The curry fillings are good -- chicken is tender, they include lots of vegetables, the pumpkin in the pumpkin curry is melt-in-your-mouth -They add the things that are supposed to be included in authentic curry (like Thai basil for the red curries, fish sauce, etc.) -They are accommodating to allergies and dietary preferences -They'll actually make the curry spicy if you request it, I have a high spice need/tolerance and this is one of the only places that will make it taste spicy to a level where I can feel it if I ask for their highest spice level -The jasmine rice is the best of anywhere I've eaten in Vegas -- so fresh, so bouncy/springy, high-quality rice grains, clearly handled well and rinsed prior to cooking, cooked perfectly every time I've had it. It's a big part of the experience of curry to have bouncy, high-quality jasmine rice to contrast with he creaminess of the curry, and this place does a great job with it. -The portions are large and I almost always take some home, delivery portions are pretty large, too There are only 3 Thai places in Vegas that I can say that about, and this is the only one in SW Vegas that I've found to be like this. the service is also great and you actually feel like a guest there. they have little extra touches like real candles. they do a great job with refilling water, lemon in your water, mints by the door, lots of extra touches. above-par Thai restaurant, please support them! and try the curries! The mango coconut sticky rice is really good--fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. The only downside is the price at $17.99 per order, which feels a bit steep. If you can catch their Buy One, Get One Free promotion, it's a much better value. Overall, I recommend it, especially when it's on special. Tips- -Side note. We felt like Thai food, so we decided to try an order from this business via Uber Eats. Ordering online was very simple, although they did not have an option to customize the spiciness of the dishes as we have seen with other Thai restaurants. They were offering a buy one get one free offer on vegetable egg rolls, and we also tried the chicken satay skewers. I also decided to try the beef Pad See Ew. Everything arrived very nicely packaged, but they did not include any utensils despite the fact that I marked that utensils were requested via the Uber Eats app. The egg rolls were quite good with a very crunchy shell and a nice vegetable filling. The chicken skewers were fairly good, although the chicken was just a bit chewy and tough. It was well-flavored, and I enjoyed the peanut dipping sauce. I really enjoyed the beef Pad See Ew which was a very nice portion size for one. The beef was tender, and the vegetables and noodles were tasty and well-prepared. It was, however, perhaps a tiny bit on the blander side. I would've liked an option to customize a spice level to make the flavor a bit zippier. Overall, though, it was still a tasty dish. Decided to stop by since it's not too far from the Durango Casino. The service was great, very attentive and friendly. The food was good. It had more of a modern. Definitely was different to have the dishes, especially the Tom Kha in a regular bowl (not used to that). I wasn't much a fond of the dessert, too much coconut for me, but it wasn't bad. This is a good neighborhood Thai restaurant. Their menu includes a lot of offerings, and they have good lunch specials that are reasonably priced. The place has a good amount of seating. It's never too busy when I'm here. We had the Divine Scallop to share, crispy duck, and lunch specials: Thai Pepper Steak and Crispy Fish. Lunch specials come with salad and either egg fried rice or plain rice and small cup of vegetable soup. The soup was very bland, but their egg fried rice is on point. The Divine Scallops were a bit on the tiny side, but I really liked the saucy flavor. Crispy duck was well portioned and shareable. I can't believe that I can have food this good and have it be gluten free. The Pad See Ew is so good it brings tears to my eyes. I get a different protein every time. This time I got the pork. They are all good. The chicken wings are soooo good too. We had them with salt and Pepper this time. I think we usually get them with sweet chili. I think these were even better. They had a Bogo on the wings. Woohoo!! I felt like I was normal again. Like before I developed my wheat allergy. I recommend this restaurant whole heartedly. We went to Panna Thai on a Saturday evening and were seated right away. The inside is clean with plenty of seating options to accommodate different group sizes. The person who brought us to our table and the server who took our order were both so kind. The customer service was excellent. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the menu and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Since we spent over $55, we received the summer rolls for free, which was a nice bonus. We loved every dish we ordered. I honestly cannot choose a favorite. The Pad Thai with tofu had a lot of flavor and the spice level can be adjusted to your liking like the other dishes. The Panang curry was delicious and the eggplant dish had just the right amount of spice. I will definitely be back. The chicken curry fettuccine not norm. Overall liked it but probably stick with traditional dishes. Second visit went for lunch special. Steal of deal. U got nice hot cup of soup start then with choice of entree comes with rice, salad, and egg roll. It decent amount of food for lunch special. U get choose protein for ur entree. I did chili basil. Tasted just was awesome as first time! Also got coconut ice cream. The presentation cool in fresh coconut. It was refreshing and not normal ice cream consistency or texture. Liked it. I saw their ad on my Instagram and was excited to try it.Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.The appetizer was just very breaded soft shell crab with no flavor & no accompanying sauce $15. The main was pad see ew which the waiter suggested but in this restaurant it was just dry overcooked pasta with no sauce and very little chicken or Chinese broccoli with no egg ! Very flat in flavor which we couldn't eat at $17! The other main was seafood & eggplant dish which was also dry and flat $23. This was the first time ever we needed salt on a dish in a Thai restaurant!!we asked for soy sauce. They also didn't have crispy red pepper flakes or sauces with fish sauce or pepper& garlic sauce that all Thai restaurants offer with their food! The side sauces if they had could have helped. The waitress was surprised we didn't eat the pad see ew! I told her we didn't like it ! She offered to add sauce and put it in a take out box for us to take home. We opted to go with the pad thai, mango chicken, and papaya salad. The most memorable dish was perhaps the mango chicken - it reminded me a lot of orange chicken due to the crispy texture and sweet tanginess. If you want the best damn yellow curry dish on this side of town, you've gotta stop by Panna Thai! It's a quaint, nicely decorated place that serves up delicious food with authentic, fresh ingredients. I've only had one other yellow curry dish that's blown my mind, and that was in the Bay Area. My fiance and I decided to stop in for lunch after a medical appointment in the area. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and seated. Shortly after being seated, we were served complimentary soup for lunch, which was a welcome touch. The soup was really good, a nice flavor similar to egg flower soup but with a clear broth and veggies. My fiance ordered the steamed dumplings, which he enjoyed. I'm pescatarian so I couldn't try them, but he said they were flavorful. He ordered the pepper steak lunch special and I opted for the normal portion of pad prik king with shrimp. Both of our entrees were delicious and I ended up with enough leftovers for another lunch and dinner. Great find! Picking up clothes at Zr Alterations. It was lunch time and we saw the signage, " Panna Thai Restaurant". Walking through the door we felt seen and welcomed. We decided on the the crispy Branzino fish, Crab fried rice and River prawns with garlic rice. Our server, Sassi, was very attentive. We were never without water or tea refills. She started us with a green salad which I would eat everyday if I could make it as good. The dressing was lite and tasty. The crab fried rice was the best I have ever eaten and I order it any time it is on a menu.. My husband had three servings. The fish-oh the fish! It was perfectly cooked. This place is much bigger than other Thai restaurants I've been to. The place is nice and quiet (we were here in the early afternoon), so busy times may differ. I ordered pad Thai, which is my go to when trying a new Thai spot and it was delicious. I added seafood and it had a TON of seafood. My wife ordered the BBQ chicken, which was also good, but was not what we were expecting. Usually the bbq chicken has a sweet and spicy Thai chili sauce, but this had a homemade sauce more similar to western style bbq, which wasn't bad, but also wasn't expected. All in all, the service was great, the food was great and the portions large. I definitely recommend this place if you have a craving for Thai food. read more

This was my first time ordering delivery from Panna Thai and it's been YEARS since I've last eaten here. The food alone still tastes great. I ordered pad thai (bottom) and crab wontons (top). I don't know what happened from the moment they finished cooking the food to the moment it arrived to me, but I felt the need to call it out. The corners of the box the crab wontons were ripped out for some reason. I was hungry so I ate it anyway and did not say anything at the moment but I don't know if they were tampered with, who did it or why. Never in my life have I seen this done before. This is unacceptable in my opinion. If the restaurant did it, I get that the want to save money, but save those containers for your own staff, not the customers. read more

It was just before their dinner rush because around 8-8:30pm it got pretty busy. The food overall is really good. The prices are fair. The service was good and they brought out our food at a reasonable time. I really enjoyed their pad kra Pao and pad thai. The yellow curry was really good, but could definitely have more spice to it. First time I got my go-to Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles) these can be hit and miss but they were on point! Second time I ordered the fresh rolls and Panang Curry which was a HUGE serving. It was so good and not super thick you could almost just drink it like soup. My only complaint was that the rice portion didn't quite measure up to the curry portion so, if sharing I would recommend ordering a second side of rice.
