Ohhh Pepsi Center... I love going to you for Avs and Nuggets games. For sporting events you're great... but for food/drink options you need to step it up! I went to a nuggets game last night and got some good ole nachos and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't the bright orange fake cheese looking dip. It was a nice real cheese looking dip with the tiniest bit of spice. The chips were your typical sports event style chip but thankfully they weren't stale like usual. A great place to catch a game! I love seeing the nuggets play here. It is a blast. I feel like the fan shop has reasonably priced items too. I fill up at Brooklyn's before hand so I don't have to pay the price of arena food. It can be pricey. Concerts are good here too. I take the light rail to Union Station and then over to the arena. It's a good arena for both hockey and basketball games. There is a terrific brewery on site that matches up well with non Arena sports bars. The large electronic scoreboard is excellent. Like most of the arenas, entrance is difficult with all the security issues being addressed. Overall, the arena is a plus experience. read more

First and probably only time to visit the Pepsi Center. We cam to Denver for the sole purpose of attending a hockey game. It is a nice arena. Its clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were clean. There was ample choices of foot to eat - all at expensive prices - just like every other sports venue. So it was pretty good. The best part to me was the incredibly organized way that they worked out the Uber and Lyft pick-ups after the game. They had a certain area of the lot - with an organizer and a bull horn. the cars would line in and tell the organizer the name of the passengers and they would get through the crowd to the car, get in and split. It was the most organized public transportation plan ever. It was also quite incredible to see hundreds and hundreds of Uber and Lyft cars pulling in and taking off with their new fare. read more

The Pepsi Center is a wonderful and easy to navigate venue. Parking is simple and clearly marked usually $15-$30. You actually get a $5 discount when you pay with a credit card. Wide sidewalks between lots funnel crowds quickly back to their cars and it usually takes us less than 5 minutes to get back on I-25 or head downtown to continue the fun. The LightRail stop is also close to the main gates if you prefer public transportation. Nicely stocked but expectedly pricey team gear store at the atrium entrance. We have always found plenty of cleanish restrooms and vendors scattered about. Tip; I prefer to stay away from the 300 sections... I'm afraid of heights and the stairs and seats on that level are so steep it makes me nervous. They also have much less room and the one time we sat there I saw more than one person lose balance trying to get out of a packed row and tumble onto the head or shoulders of the person below. Section 300's and booze are a bad plan. read more

I went here for Adele's concert. So, I can only compare this with other concert venues. If I watched an NBA game here then, it might be a different story. We walked here from our hotel. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants nearby which makes the location convenient. They have concessions and bars inside the venue in case you get hungry/ thirsty while watching a concert or sporting event. Going through security and having our tickets checked was a breeze. They were pleasant. It was organized and the flow of traffic was controlled. We got from the entrance to our seats in less than 30 minutes. read more

Go team! - I was in Denver for a work function and flew in a day early to check out the Saturday Denver nightlife. It started with a Nuggets game here and living in a city with no professional teams or decent live sporting venues, the Pepsi Center had all the traits of crowd packed arena. Decent drinks, crappy food, and great vantage points to see all the sports! I split my time here by hanging in the seats chatting with locals, cheering on the Nuggets and in the Land Rover Lounge every so often to wet my whistle. Yeah, the drinks were expensive, but you're at a professional arena, you know going in that drinks will be expensive and the food will be subpar and over priced, why are people still surprised by this? I'm assuming these are the same folks who go to Disneyland and are blown away that bottled water is $6. People; eat before you get to the arena, problem solved. Parking is too expensive? Park somewhere close by and Uber! The staff here was awesome, the bartenders are friendly, and the ushers were super friendly. Unfortunately, the Nuggets lost, but it was all still fun and good, because I'm a Laker fan, suck it Denver! read more

We managed to get tickets to see A Girl Named Tom and Pentatonix on our driving vacation from Kansas City to Aspen. The show was supposed to start at 7:30, but did finally start about 7:40 PM. Both groups were just unbelievably talented and put on a great show. Really. I was not happy that we spent the money for third row tickets, but because of the stage jetted out in the middle of the floor seats, we were so close that the stage blocked the main stage behind it so we couldn't see what was going on unless they came out to that part of the stage that protruded to within 10 feet of our seats. If we wanted to see the stage, we had to stand up and block the view of the people behind us. I would guess the number of seats at 10 wide x 10 deep couldn't see the stage and had to view the entertainment via big screen, which is not at all what we paid premium to see the wonderful entertainment. In addition, the seats were very narrow and at most I had 5 inches of legroom for a 6 foot tall guy. It's just greed of a venue to not let a tickets purchaser know what they're getting into when they pay for premium seats. The arena was clean, the means of access and egress was good, the parking was handled professionally, and I would definitely go back to Ball Arena, just never pay for floor tickets with a protruding element of the stage. read more

Pepsi Center- I have a Love/Hate relationship with you at the moment. I was surprised with Avalanche tickets last night and having to haul ass from work to make it to the game on time, i picked up a sub sandwich to enjoy while watching hockey. Upon entering, the venue itself is very nice, clean and slightly fancy, and i was greeted with smiles. HOWEVER, once my bag was searched, i was told to throw my sandwich away but my chips were allowed inside. Having paid $10+ for the delicious thing, i refused, rearranged things in my purse and headed to a different line. Once greeted, i was asked to throw my chips away [despite what the previous line attendant had just said and telling her i had seen online peanuts and chips were allowed inside] and she made me actually throw them away. not cool. After all is said and done, i will continue to come here to enjoy sporting events of the like, but i suggest you get your policy straight and either let in all food, or none at all, and inform your staff. just sayin. wanting a refund of $3 for chips, Katie read more

II have seen everything (almost) at Pepsi - hockey, lacrosse, arena football, concerts & basketball. All in all it is good spot to see a concert and a great spot to see a sporting event. In my opinion, the best seats in the house are on club level (and they have the best concessions too!). You are high enough to catch all the action, but still close enough you don't have to squint! Now, Pepsi isn't perfect, but the thing I have learned about it is the more you learn to maneuver it, the happier your experience will be. I usually park in the lots adjoining Pepsi lots (B lots generally) that you can access from Auraria Parkway. I am just one of those people who would rather pay $10 and drive myself than cram onto an over packed light rail train. While I never have a problem finding a spot - getting out is a whole other ball of wax. Tip: Go out the far side west B lot that dumps you in Auraria - way faster, I lucked upon this one night! If you do the light rail (C & E lines run to arena) know that it does stop RIGHT by Pepsi - unlike the Invesco @ Mile High stop - you just can hop off and walk across to the arena. Or if you happen to be out and about in Lo Do- just walk it - it is a surprisingly easy walk (and I am lazy!) and so many people do this, you won't feel uncomfortable that you are walking alone in Lo Do in the dark after your event. All in all, the place is great. It has the giant globe art piece thing that is awesome to stare at on a sunny day as you walk in. Generally, quick ticket checks when you come in and then escalators up to your seats. Now when leaving, don't go with the hoards down those escalators - no!!! Go out a side door and take the stairs down. You will come out in relatively the same spot (give our take 20 feet) and it is much faster! read more

Surprised my wife for our anniversary with some Sam Smith concert tickets. Having never been to the Pepsi Center I was happy to see that all the parking was clearly marked as well as the signage around the building. Once inside, there was a great amount of security including a metal detector, bag checker, multiple police at each entrance as well as a ton of employees ready to direct you or answer any questions. The venue was very clean, a great selection of food and beverage and even better that it was separated by stand so you could chose what you wanted to wait in line for. Having just come from dinner we only stood in line at the wine stand! Sat in section 102 row 3 seat 1 & 2 and were unbelievably satisfied with our view and access to food/beverage and restrooms! Being a big hockey fan I will definitely look for some tickets this season as well as other concerts! read more

I am def a fan of the Pepsi Center. I've been here for several hockey games and various concerts over the past few years and I have rarely been disappointed. For sporting events even the "nose bleeds" are great seats. I've lucked out and enjoyed seats ranging from five rows from the glass, club level (!), and the good ol' "nose bleeds." Club level is pretty awesome because there's a server that brings you whatever you need. Though I do prefer to get up and wander around a bit. The convenience is nice if you aren't wanting to miss a moment of the action. Now concerts on the other had... It's a little shaky. The acoustics just aren't the best. That being said it's not terrible. But for the ticket cost to catch your favorite band, I'll pass. Of course like any stadium-esque venue the food and drinks will be more expensive than you'd like, but that's all part of the experience... Or so I always remind myself. There's tons of parking and lots of non-driving transportation options to get to and from Pepsi Center. I'm just going to stick to sporting events at the Pepsi Center from here on out. Arena staff are great. Parking personnel are outstanding. This is more about the city and that ridiculous light leaving I25 onto Auraria coming from the south. The turn lane is only allowing 5-6 vehicles to turn onto the lot. The left turn lane is only on for a few seconds, during game days, before it turns red. What genius designed this light cycle that backs up traffic onto I-25, a high accident area? That genius needs to be fired. I-25 is terrible enough. Trying to get to Ball Arena is designed perfectly if THAT light allows more vehicles through than just 5 or 6 cars turning onto that lot. read more

I was seated in section 302 for the Madonna concert. Acoustics were HORRIBLE!!! All I could hear was pulsing, ear splitting bass and distortion. Maybe because most of the speakers were suspended from the ceiling and pointed right at me. Could barely make out which songs were being performed. Unacceptable for a VERY expensive concert ticket. Seats in balcony sections are at a dizzying steep angle and narrow. Felt like walking a precarious high wire to get past others just to get to my seat. Knees and tips of my shoes were up against the seat in front of me. No room for elbows and cup holders are nearly useless in such cramped spaces. Be prepared to sit in one mummy-like position for hours! Parking was expensive at $30. They don't take cash at concessions, so make sure you have other payment options. The worst thing about the experience was shelling out nearly $500/couple (tics, fees, parking) only to be miserably uncomfortable and unable to hear the songs at a music event. Ridiculous! I will never go to a concert at this venue again. read more

New Year's Eve with the Colorado Avalanche and Indoor Fireworks! What a fun way to spend New Year's Eve. The AV's fans are very Family Friendly and the Pepsi Center makes it a great place to watch professional hockey. Also a great venue for Nuggets games and Concerts. read more

Came to watch the Avalanche game and had a great time. There are no bad seats in the house as I was in the top level on the end and still saw every bit of the game. I was a little nervous at the end of the game when stairwalkers (me) had to converge at the first floor with the escalator riders who were actually held back from getting on for awhile but I am still alive. I was surprised that there were empty seats because every hockey game I have ever attended is jam packed. The arena is very easy to get to via public transportation which is awesome. Snack of the game? Be sure to try the Mmmmmini donuts. These are tiny cake donuts that you can get with sugar or cinnamon sugar and dip in strawberry or chocolate. Normally not my favorite doughnut, but when they come out fresh and hot, you can't beat them. Coming from California, I want to make sure other Californians know that they sell beer at the seats so you don't even have to leave the game for a cold brew. read more

This place varies between 2 and 3 stars for me...I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt with this review and time will tell whether it changes. I like the location, access to public transit/metro, parking and the exterior "look". The arena itself is surprisingly small inside when you think about the size of the market it serves and how large it seems from the outside. I like that it is the home of several different sports franchises... The cushioned seats in the lower arena are sorta gross... There seems to be ample food and drink options. I will say that I had a questionable encounter with some "security" folks. Seems that leaning on the railing overlooking the main entrance signals that you have imbibed more than they allow...fortunately I hadn't had anything but water...they assume rather than ask. I visited Denver for the sole purpose of seeing the Caps vs Avalanche. I was big fan of this arena. The location is downtown next to everything. It was quick getting in and out. The hallways are nice and spacious (not all NHL arenas are like this). And the entertainment staff did a great job. One of my favorite arenas. read more

A pretty decent venue with good seating, and views all around no matter where you are sitting. Came into to watch an avalanche game and it was a pretty cool experience. They have beers / domestic and imported and as well as cocktails, jameson with seltzer water and lime was my choice. The food options are okay, basic stadium food, nothing too appealing. The light effects and sound effects are second to none and there plenty of bathrooms nearby for quick trips to and from your seats. Parking can be confused we had to pay 20 bucks for a valet but they have several police officers directing traffic and lots of parking attendants around to collect payment and tell you where to park. Over all i would return to this venue, except i did notice that once you get past the second/ third level the seats are really high up and those would not be very enjoyable as you really cant see much from up there and they are super steep. read more

I saw Twenty-One Pilots here; the show was good, and the arena is honestly huge! It can comfortably hold 10k or 20k people. There were lots of food and drink vendors available, I didn't really have any trouble finding my seat. I would recommend seeing a show or a game here but take an uber and make sure your phone is charged! read more

Awful AWFUL concert hospitality staff! I was sold 4 badly obstructed view seats by Ticketmaster and got ZERO help from anyone. I had wanted to see this band for years, and we payed over $1000 in tickets and fees to do so, only to be wedged into the most uncomfortable seats of any venue we have ever attended. I spent the first half of the show trying to get comfortable in seats so narrow that it was impossible not to touch the stranger next to me. We all tried to be good sports about it, but the leg cramps, back aches, and stiff neck detracted from what would have been an otherwise amazing show. We left at intermission, because the thought of having to sit through the second set sounded hellish. Never again. read more

I love the Pepsi Center! There are several entrances to get in and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. Plenty of bathroom stalls for the ladies and plenty of refreshment stands. Unfortunately for music events the sound gets a bit trapped so the acoustics are not the best-not horrible-but certainly not Red Rocks. Going here for an AVs game or Nuggets game is awesome! There were 4 guests in our party, we did arrive just before Carrie went on stage. As we all worked all day, we wanted to get some appetizers or something when we got there. My daughter does not drink alcohol, we were seated in area 134. She does not drink soda and prefers Juice or Water, we also were looking for food and nonalcoholic drinks in our area. Sadly there was NOTHING available except alcoholic beverages!! We asked at the available kiosks that were selling drinks for just a plain Cranberry juice or water for sale as I was willing to pay the high price for something without alcohol. They told us they were not allowed to sell plain cranberry juice or Orange juice or soda as it was a mixer for alcoholic drinks and they did not have any water to sell. They said all they had was peanuts for food (seriously??) I asked (8) people working there where we could get plain juice or water and something to eat and not 1 person could tell us where to go. My niece and I did have drinks, the Margarita was terrible, I threw it away and the draft beer Warm at best. You list multiple places to get food in the area where we sat but there was NOTHING!! Towards the end of the concert, I was able to buy (2) small bottles of water( warm no doubt) but it cost me $20.00 cash to get them as she said she wasn't supposed to give them to us. What kind of Concert Venue are you??? We spent total $100.00 a piece equally for 4 of us, it was my birthday and my daughters early birthday present at $400.00 total to see Carrie, I am appalled how we were treated and the Event staff that we talked to were uncaring and very unhelpful In directing us where we could get what we wanted. I do not feel these were unreasonable requests above and we were treated extremely poorly at a very high expense. I realize we were a very small part of the 1000's that came to see her in concert but customer service was non existent last night and for a Birthday Celebration it was not a memorable one for the price we paid. I'm seriously disappointed in the staff and facility. we drove from the springs, two hours of traffic to arrive and have something wrong with our tickets. Mind you not their fault but what is unacceptable is I have a 17 year old special needs son and a 4 year old. I asked to take them to the restroom because we were at a point of accidents. Yes still training my 17 year old. Even with escort. It was that serious. They told us no, tickets first. I had no choice but to rush them back through the people, to the car to find a restroom as my husband purchased new tickets. My 17 year old is slow and lakes normal mobility. Neither of my sons made it. we drove two hours for an event my youngest was so excited about and paid almost $300 for just to purchase new tickets in a nosebleed section with my special needs kid that is now covered in pee as well as myself and my 4 year old.
