I am a teacher and Ball Chiropractic gave free chair massages at our school one day-so awesome! I signed up and never knew that free 10 minute massage would change so much for me. My back was so screwy and tight that Nancy (the masseuse) offered me a free initial consultation. I figured why not, free right?! So I went in and Dr. Ball was awesome and explained everything. They ended up taking x-rays (I paid for) to see what was really going on with my back. I had had a super crazy knot in my right shoulder and neck and should pain daily for so long I can't even remember when it started. Turns out its all from the way I was carrying myself (crooked and with my neck forward straining everything). I went back for the follow up and they recommended a care plan based on the amount of time I could put into correcting the problem. I went 2x a week for a few months for adjustments and also received rehab exercises to do at home to strengthen my body for carrying myself correctly. They also have 2 masseuses, so of course I had to do that too. I did massages bi-weekly. I recently shifted to once a week adjustments and still do regular (easy and fast) exercises at home. In just these few months time, my neck and shoulder pain is gone- no really, the baseball size knot married to my the inner edge of my shoulder blade is really gone. To be honest, at first I was really skeptical and really didn't realize that it would take on going treatment over such a period of time, but I thought why not try it (my insurance covered most of it- EVEN MASSAGES). At one point about a month in, I thought about quitting because of the overall commitment and I didn't notice the changes yet. I stuck with it in part because I really started to enjoy seeing the staff and stopping in. Adjustments only take a few minutes. Dr. Ball, Steph, Heidi, Tina and Nancy are all just fantastic. I get the best care! Dr Ball really knows his stuff and takes his time with each patient. He really cares about you. He also adds some physical therapy which has sped up my healing. The staff is so friendly and caring. He and his staff go out of their way to provide quality care, and professionalism in a warm and comfortable environment. I have been to a couple other chiropractors and Dr Ball by far does a better job and actually adjusts my back, feet, knees and neck. He doesn't use some little electric hand tool or some ridiculous table massager to keep him from doing the actual adjustment like these new places popping up. He is a REAL chiropractor. I went here because of my work injury. The staff are really nice and great. Erica and Nancy are so helpful and nice. Dr Ball and their massage therapist Glen are really great too! Whenever i come here i feel like i am de-stressing and they are very pleasant. Dr. Ball always make me laugh with his humor and also gives me advices for work. And Glen has an angel touch he's really good on his career of choice.. And i love talking to them they are like family because they listened and help me with my life concerns too. I know soon i will be done on my L and I and soon will be doing cash payments with my insurance and all.. But i dont mind going back here. They keep my sanity LOL! Dr Ball and his staff are wonderful!! Here is why: 1. He is knowledgable in Physical Therapy, nutrition/supplements, and chiropractic. It's holistic wellness (if you want that, if you don't just don't ask him a bunch of questions like I always do!!) 2. He is trained in maternity chiropractic and children's chiro. I went to him while pregnant and he has adjusted my toddler, too. He's GREAT with kids. 3. They are SO welcoming and accommodating. They are so flexible when I schedule my appointments and they even saw me once on a Saturday morning with a phone call to their office that morning when I woke up in pain. 4. They are timely and efficient. 5. Dr Ball does tests on your back (doesn't hurt) and you actually SEE the improvement in coming in for visits regularly. I love to measure progress and have never had a chiro actually do this. It is wonderful and you not only feel better but you realize where your pain points are and watch it all start to get beter. 6. The staff is ALL wonderful and there is very low (if any) turnover. I have gone there 2 years and still see the same smiling faces. They are friendly and sweet to me when I call and even help distract my toddler when I have to bring him in with me. INTEGRITY! This is the best way I can describe Dr Ball. I have been working for Dr Ball for just over a year now. I have never worked for someone who is so understanding and caring for not just his employees but his patients as well. I am a disabled Army veteran and Dr Ball always makes sure I a comfortable and provides me with any accommodations I may need. BUT, the main reasons I enjoy working for Dr Ball is how he TRULY CARES for each and every patient. We have weekly meetings to discuss each patient and the love and concern he shares for each is literally astounding. I love that he does regular charity work and also treats animals for donations to PAWS only. He has such a fun and enjoyable demeaner and treats the patients with such care. I want to share a little secret about him(not a secret now, lol), I have seen him tear up over concerns for patients and argue for hours with insurance companies and L&I to make sure patients get the care the need. Pun not intended, but will take it!! :-) I started the Ideal Protein plan with them after changing from another less than desirable clinic in Federal Way that offered the same program. Not only did they get me back on track and I started losing weight again, but I've learned so much the other office DID NOT tell me about the plan!! I've since switched my chiropractic services to this office also, they are very thorough, and explain everything in layman's terms (thank you!). Dr Ball may be the best Chiropractor ever But the business end of his office is beyond terrible. My husband & I were clients of Dr Ball from 2013 thru 2015. We had full insurance but never received a statement of any sort. In mid December of this year, we received 2 statements, stating that we owed money from 3 to 5 years ago. There were no listing of visits or insurance payments, just an amount due. We called and requested a complete list of every visit during that time period. I was given that information but thats hardly the point. We followed that call with a Certified Letter, return receipt requested requesting that information. Additionally, they are very close to the Statue of Limitations on back billing. Guess what, I received my letter returned to me, as they refused to accept the letter. Great job,Dr Ball. Your business end is going to kill your good work. We will never recommend your business again. read more

I could not say enough great things about Dr. Ball and his staff. I was in the middle of moving and hurt my back to the point I was in tears in his office. They all consoled me and were very empathetic. Dr. Ball answered all my questions and was extremely patient with me. They went above and beyond to help me get back on my feet. I felt like they genuinely cared and like they were my friends. I have a two year old who would come to the appointments with me and they would play with her and show her Dr. Balls dog while he was working with me. She loved going there. They never left me waiting and always followed up and called with reminders. Had services two years ago, with little to no issue. Paid charges that were not covered by insurance throughout several months of receiving services, just about every 2nd or 3rd time that I went in. I was in up to 3x in any given week. Two and a half years later I get a bill for services from 9/2016. I called to inquire as the bill does not indicate what services it is for, just a balance due. I asked to be sent this information in addition to the dates to cross reference when/what my insurance company paid and the fact that I am receiving a bill 2+ years later. The lady I spoke with very rudely insisted they have done plenty and won't be sending me anything else "if you want to dispute it, we will just send it to collections." Good luck with that because once I dispute it with the collections company they will need to produce the charges associated with this statement with actual services a remaining balances from insurance. Long story short, they could have just sent me a bill that was accurate and reflected what the charges were for...if they thought they were getting a payment for services that took place over two years ago when this is the first time I'm being informed such a balance exist. I will never go back and will not recommend...and two weeks ago I would have done both. read more

Dr. Ball is amazing. He has done more for me in 7 months than Doctors and physical therapists have done in 4 years. He correctly took X-rays and informed me I will need hip replacement. Referred me to the best, Dr. Shelton, who confirmed i need a hip replacement. I was in terrible pain, Dr. Ball relieved that pain. I was in good shape and did not see him for about 3 months...started have terrible pain again. Had one adjustment visit and I am painless...He is wonderful, kind and honest. Informed me his adjustments are not a remedy, only relief, I must have the hip replacement. Now that's honesty!!! He also has the most amazing message therapist, Nancy. She KNOWS the muscles and which ones need attention. His office is casual, friendly and has a wonderfully comforting feel. In comparison to other Chiros in the area this place is sort of a dump. The building is dated and the office reminds me of an obstacle course. There are all types of gadgets, furniture and children toys on the floor, so do be cautious of your steps as you might run into an item or two. Nancy the office manager/massage therapist is nice but she is a bit of a motor mouth. It got to the point where I dreaded coming into the office, as Nancy would talk my ears off from the moment I arrive until my departure. There were times when I would be scheduled for an appointment and would spend 20-30 minutes in the lobby waiting on Doctor Ball. He gives a feather light adjustment but his main focus is to sell and solicit items he carries in house. On a good note the eatery next door makes awesome burgers and fries. It is where I would spend some my pass time instead of sitting in the lobby listening to Nancy babble about this and that. read more
