Excellent acoustics and high-end electronic equipment help the speakers and performers give their best. A recent sold-out lecture by Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer was inspiring, challenging and warmly entertaining. It was followed by a marvelous chamber music concert featuring a collection mostly contemporary works influenced by a connection with nature. Grace Farms' mission is to support nature, arts, justice, community and faith. It's a much-appreciated place to refocus and refuel in these difficult times.

It wasn't super busy when I went, but would suggest getting a free ticket online in advance just in case.

Twin Brooks Park is a very beautiful and well maintained park. It has a nice paved walking/bike…read morepath with flowers and trees that bloom in spring and summer. There are a total of 5 ponds/lakes, two of which people sometimes fish at. There are swings (in very good condition) and a playground that is suitable for kids around age 4-13. In the winter Twin Brooks has easily the best sledding hill in a 10 mile radius. It's such a good sledding hill that it can actually be dangerous due to the sheer distance. With most sleds you don't have to worry but with high quality inner tubes you can generate a lot of speed. Sledding not your thing? No problem! There is also an extensive network of mountain biking/hiking trails in the woods to the north of the park. In fact you can mountain bike or hike from Beach Memorial Park all the way to Twin Brooks! Twin Brooks is beautiful in all 4 seasons, just don't forget your Trumbull parking pass. If you don't have one there is street parking on Franklin Street.

The china on the lower level in casing was beautiful and the colors chosen have a very old home comfort feel. Takes you back a bit to another time. Lighting for images is great here and there is a handicap parking close to the ramps which make entry and exits very easy. They offer recycling and trash in their kitchen. Rocky beach and no waves because it's on the bay. Parking is $22 for non residents. Wish the water was clearer but it's natural. Brought water shoes but didn't really need them if you're careful. They have an East beach and West beach within park. West allows bbqs, larger fields and nice views. East beach is more like a beach due to lifeguard staff. I arrived at 11ish, paid $22 (non-Connecticut residents have to pay) and found parking immediately. Around 12:30 the parking lots were at capacity and closed. I love how there's so much to do at the park. You can grill, go to the beach, go for a walk and even ride your bike. It's a great time. The beach is small and full of rocks and pebbles. The water was freezing even in the hot weather. The walk towards the water is even worse. There's rocks everywhere you step and can be extremely painful. My sister and I both cut our feet trying to get in and out of the water so I HIGHLY recommend getting some water shoes! My favorite parking lot is the west side only because there's a bathhouse where you can change, use the bathroom and take a shower. Highly recommend to come here for a fun beach day or picnic or grilling. Love love this place!

There's a lake for fishing and boating and canoeing here, and some nice hikes up to a ridge area. The main area for parking, with a somewhat muddy and rutted parking lot, is on Barlow Mountain Road, next to the lake. There's a small area for a boat ramp, and a few spots for parking. There are also a number of smaller areas to park on various side streets, to access various sections of the park. The trails are pretty well blazed, with maps mounted near the parking areas. The trails are really nice, with some sections being lower and easier, and a little bit of a challenge to get up to the ridge, where there's a nice overlook of the area. It's definitely a nice place to go for a hike!
