Customer service was phenomenal. They accommodated me in such short notice and they also deliver ($50 fee - my location was in Pasadena so not sure if the price goes up if it's outside Pasadena). The only reason I give this a 3 star is I paid $100 for a basic balloon package, total of 4 bouquet and each bouquet only had 4 balloons, it wasn't anything special. Total of balloons probably cost less than $20. I mean it's also my fault given that I didn't want to stop by dollar tree or even party city to get the same balloons. This small shop offers a wide range of balloons for birthday parties, special occasions, baby showers etc. I came here to order a custom balloon for a gender reveal. I walked into the store and the gentleman was able to make me a balloon based on my budget. I got a simple black balloon with pink confetti and glitter inside the balloon. The total was just under $20. He added ribbons and a pretty weight to the balloon. The quality and presentation was much better than other places like party city. The BEST service! They are super professional and fun to work with. I've used them for helium tank rentals and arraignments. Their arraignments are beautiful and they have a wide selection. The staff is beyond friendly; and that means a lot when it comes to the stresses of planning events/parties. The plaza has limited parking tho, so aim for non peak dining times. So, they didn't have our order ready when we said we'd pick up. So I had to wait 15 extra minutes which wasn't entirely bad but I needed to be setting up at the venue asap. Wish they could've thrown in some free or discounted weights since I had to wait . I also had to tie on my own weights but luckily one of the staff members offered to help when she saw me struggling. Dishonest pricing! I originally was going to order balloons online since I thought it would save me some time but their website wouldn't let me check out. I printed out my order and drove to the store where I was told that the owner was re-doing the website and the prices weren't accurate. On some items it was double! I said that was fraudulent to advertise one price and then charge double and the gentleman helping me agreed but said there was nothing he could do. I cannot say enough about this place. They are easy to work with. George, who took my order was nice, knowledgeable, and gave great advice on the color mix for my selection. They even blew up 4 special aluminum balloons I had purchased online that were extra-large. I ordered 125 balloons and they were all delivered blown up and tied beautifully with ribbon. The delivery fee was only $20. It's now 3 days since my event and I can't believe the balloons are still inflated and up. This place is a great find. I came in about a week ago and was immediately greeted by two female employees. They both welcomed me into the store and offered endless recommendations and ideas, as I had no idea what I was looking for coming into the store. I was looking for balloons for an bridal shower, and one of the female employees recommended me her favorite color scheme for an elegant yet feminine theme (rose gold, peach, clear). I later was introduced to the seemingly new store manager, Shane. From beginning to end, he was very kind, patient, and enthusiastic in helping me choose what mylar balloons would compliment the latex balloons that the employees helped me pick. He was not afraid to tell me what looked good and what didn't, which is the honesty I earnestly appreciated. All in all, I ordered quite a large order of several balloon bouquets with delivery to Thousand Oaks that was VERY affordable and reasonable! I've heard wonderful comments about this place from fellow high school alumni and colleagues who have ordered from Balloon Emporium, all of which were nothing but positive, raving comments. Uh, rude... When we walked inside, the lady at the counter told us to ask her if we needed any help. I was looking for big 55 balloons for my dad's bday, so I asked if she had any in red (she offered to help...) to which she just told us to "look there". Why offer help if you're not going to help? Not like she was doing anything, she was just standing there... I was going to get the two 5 balloons, then evaluate how much space I have left in the car and come back to get more of the regular balloons, but when it took her 10 minutes just to fill the two 5 balloons I gave up on it. We got the balloon kit for a private celebration. The kit came with balloons of your choice in terms of number and colors, a helium tank, a regulator, pre-cut ribbons matching the colors of the balloons. The balloons were of great quality and filled up nicely and easily. The tank had more than sufficient helium and very easy to use. My 6-year-old was able to fill up the balloons with ease. I thought about getting the Balloon Time disposable tank kit from a party store or on Amazon so I would not need to take a trip to return the tank but I am so glad that I decided against it. The quality of the balloons from Balloon Emporium was so much better and we got to choose the colors that we wanted. We had plenty of helium left after we were done. The broken free balloons flew so high, all the way up into the clouds. Very please with the experience with the store and the kit. I am so happy to discover this little gem.
