We hired Kat to come to our four-year-old daughter's Frozen-themed birthday party. My silly little girl didn't think big enough when she asked Kat to make her a blue flower (Kat will make a special balloon creation for the birthday girl or boy). I half jokingly asked for 'Mario Kart' and Kat made me Mario driving a go-kart. I was completely floored - I couldn't believe how good it looked. I snuck in a request for Yoshi before she left. Kat was great with the kids; a lot of them ignored the bouncy house out front in order to watch her work her magic. Over the course of the two hours we saw several Elsa's, a monkey in a palm tree, a World of Warcraft character (for one of the day care teachers), a very expensive high heel (for one of the other daycare teachers), and more. Kat is just amazing. We hired her to do balloon twisting at my son's 7th birthday party at a park. It was very easy to book through Dan, who was prompt and clear with all communications. Kat checked in with me the day before the event to confirm details. She arrived promptly and then got a list of all of the children's names and which character they wanted, so they could go play while she worked. She was friendly and patient with the kids hovering around her as she worked. She made every child exactly what they wanted, and did a phenomenal job. I appreciated that she kept all of the finished balloon creations in a bag until the end and then every kid got theirs at the same time. The best entertainers ever. Scheduling was easy and professional. I had Colin scheduled for 5.30 pm for my sons birthday party. He reached there at 5.00 and started with balloon twisting to entertain the kids that were there and as guests came in kept the kids engaged. Later when rveryone was settled he started his magic show. It was mind blowing and kids were totally thrilled. He also did a fantastic juggling act. Things I really appreciated were 1. Wow-TERRIBLE!!! just talked to Dan (owner I assume) and pretty much the worst customer service ever. Don't tell me it is ok to call you today "asap" if you don't mean it. Don't ask your potential customer to send you yet another email (as a reminder because you get "over 20 emails a day" wtf is that about...I work also and 20 emails is nothing). I am not your assistant, and my time is equally as precious as yours--so rude! I was looking to hire some fun balloon twisting entertainment for a 4 year old bday party and clearly my business is not worth his time (or any professionalism). Dan sounded incredibly inconvenienced by my call as though the sky was falling in him. I already gave the date & time in a prior email and simply looking for confirmation on availability. He kept asking me to email it all again and remind him...seriously Dan the entertainer?!? He was a complete SPAZZ!!! So for all the families/parents out there, don't bother with this company...it's clear why there are only 25 reviews. Don't let the 5 stars fool you. Enough said. Although Kat's balloon skills look amazing in the pictures, Dan was not worth another second on the phone let alone doing business with. This company sounds completely unreliable and clearly unprofessional (thanks Dan) although they claimed to have supported many corporate events. Plenty of other balloon twisters to choose from.
