Aracely is a solid spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, which I really appreciate--especially when the weather cooperates. The food options are pretty good, and I like that the menu changes from time to time. That said, the experience can be a bit hit or miss. Both the service and the food quality/taste can vary depending on the day. With the colder months rolling in, I also wish they had more fire pits available outdoors to keep things cozy. I made reservations a month ago at one of my favorite restaurants for Mother's Day today. Part of the reason why I chose Aracely's is because there was no pre-fix menu or pomp and circumstance for the holiday. When I arrived today, Aracely had decided to do a mandatory $75 pre-fix buffet without notifying those, like myself, who had made a reservation ahead of time. When I told the manager that this wasn't going to be feasible with our budget and that we are really upset and disappointed to arrive on Mother's Day for our brunch at our favorite restaurants only to find out we can't enjoy ourselves here. The restaurant asked us to confirm our reservation yesterday and didn't say anything about this expensive buffet. The manager called the owner and the two of them defended the restaurant and told us that their hands were tied and could not do anything for us. I told him that I had been coming here and bringing customers to the restaurant for the past ten years and he was unmoved. We left and don't plan to ever return. Instead we went to Mersea, the other wonderful restaurant on Treasure Island. We paid $15/meal for their delicious Mother's Day menu and enjoyed views of the city and amazing live music there. Highly recommend the unpretentious experience and chill vibes of Mersea rather than wasting you time and money at Aracely's Cafe. read more

Wowww! Love this little gem on Treasure Island. We just walked in. I took my son, brother and his wife from San Diego visiting SF there. It's such a cute restaurant, and the service was "up top" with our server Phil ! Our meal of two delicious Cioppino, a delicious hamburger my brother had with truffle fries (he won't stop mentioning how tasty it was), and an order of something my son had and finished his whole plate! Really cool spot on Treasure Island with a lot of potential, but roughness around the edges makes it hard to imagine it being a destination (which unless you live on TI it would need to be). Had a delicious ceviche with crispy, salty chips and an excellent side order of crispy bacon. My mom had the brunch plate which was basic, but included a few different kinds of potatoes. Coffee was nice. There's a nice outside patio with umbrellas for shade and the inside looked cool (albeit stuffy on a warm day). Biggest issue was the service.... we were seated at a table outside (nice), but then basically left alone for 15-20 minutes... dude came up eventually and said "you decide?"... not "I'm your server", "these are our specials" (there were some) or anything resembling something beyond basic functional order taking. Nobody checked on drink refills, nobody sold the desserts, just a bunch of harried and officious staff running around. I like the ambiance with the fireplace with two sofas by it, booths along windows that look out into greenery, an outdoor patio with ample seating. The menu has a lot of unique options, some great veggie options, a decent brunch menu which is what I enjoyed. The prices are a bit high; $35 total not including tip for avocado toast with salmon on it and an oat milk latte. Service was attentive and friendly; latte came quickly but the kitchen is a tad slow... noted by other diners who were in a hurry. It wasn't too slow for me. We went last week, October 31, 2025 and they told us they no longer had happy hour so we ended up going to the gold bar. Aracely was or go to right after work since we work on the island it was a time to vent have garlic fries or truffle fries, and house margaritas for a good price. Looks nice, but poorly run behind the scenes Looks beautiful, but the communication and coordination issues made the entire experience unnecessarily stressful. We had our wedding here in Feb 2026. I had seen prior reviews mentioning communication issues and assumed it wouldn't be that bad -- that was a mistake. Communication was difficult from the start. There was no clear point of contact, no reliable phone number, and email replies could take up to a week. Linda was our main contact, but she was frequently unavailable and difficult to reach. It was also unclear how the internal team was structured or who was actually responsible for our event. The lack of responsiveness became especially concerning leading up to the wedding. Rain was forecast that week, and we reached out multiple times to ask about a backup plan, but did not receive a response. In the end, our own coordinator had to step in and prepare for it independently. There were several similar situations throughout the process. On the wedding day, the lack of coordination was obvious. We had confirmed children's meals in advance, but none were prepared. The kitchen staff told us they were never informed. The meals were eventually made, but served long after everyone else. We also used the venue's recommended DJ (DJ Exoh, ~$1500). I provided a detailed playlist and a script for key moments, but none of it was used -- it appeared he hadn't reviewed any of the materials. Setup was delayed, the timeline slipped, and the overall execution felt unstructured. If we didn't have our own coordinator stepping in, the situation would have been much worse. Proceed with caution, especially regarding communication and vendor recommendations. read more

During Memorial day weekend, we get it, places are busy and don't take reservations, so while out on Treasure Island, we found Aracely's and walked in a party of 4 adults. When we walked in the the hostess or server seating guests told us the only available table was near the restroom, which we were resistant about since its next to the restroom but we were hungry and agreed to sit at that table. She had stated the restaurant was full and no tables would be getting up soon since everyone just recently sat. We had been seated for about 5 minutes and reviewing the menu when we noticed another group of 4 came in and was offered a nice table outside. Mind you we were 4 adults of color, and the 4 that were offered the table outside were Caucasian. I approached the hostess who sat us and asked why they were seated outside and we were not offered that table? She stated oh they had reservations, so i went ahead and politely asked the table she just sat if they had reservations which all 4 of them said NO, they were from out of town just visiting for the day. I said thank you for confirming and walked away, then my friends and I all got up and walked out, didn't eat and didn't spend a dime there. In the end i would HIGHLY NOT recommend Aracely's to anybody, since they like to play the racist card on colored diners and seat them near a restrooms and lie to guests and give them BS excuses. Still judging books by it's cover at Aracely's and treating people like CRAP. AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!! read more

A great place to host your wedding. Easy to work with event team. A nice setting on Treasure Island. Indoor spaces, outdoor garden space lends itself to a large capacity attendees where you can hold a reception. Food service...or you can bring in food trucks (area accessible). My daughter and new son in law held a wedding reception here and all went smoothly. Staff was wonderful! The wedding coordinator was helpful and right on very detail. We could not have been happier. It's very sunny with wall succulents, but at this time was empty of customers. Having been here before, I was looking forward to my go to order: the prosciutto crepe. Came to visit my friend since she recently moved to Treasure Island and she told me this is the ONLY brunch place on the island?? Nonetheless, this place does not disappoint. From the cafe layout, aesthetics, to the food, everything was great! The ambience: It's giving Saturday brunch on a warm sunny day with the girlies. If you want to sit indoors, you can sit on a comfy soft couch or wooden bench. There is also a cozy fireplace inside the cafe! If you choose to sit outdoors, there is a patio with a few tables outside but only a few underneath an umbrella so be mindful of this on sunny days! We decided to sit around a firepit on an outdoor sofa. The sofa was comfy but the firepit combined with the sun = free hot sauna haha.. 9/10 The food: We ordered the Croissant French Toast to share and my friend ordered the Olive Oil Waffles with a side of chicken (essentially chicken and waffles). I honestly don't remember the name of the item I ordered and also couldn't find it when I looked at the menu.. Oopsie! But I believe it's their omelet. Nonetheless, the food was great! The omelet dish I ordered was a bit too watery for my liking but the Croissant French Toast was delish! We came here after TreasureFest & wasn't all that impressed. One of the members in our party ordered a burger with no aioli & a side salad, & received a burger with fries. When asked to send it back, the waitress seemed like we had changed our order... We had to ask for water, & we asked for an additional bottle, it was never brought to our table. They were out of the 3 beers we requested, limiting the menu. Waiting for a glass of wine took over 20 minutes. Mind you, it wasn't that busy. I really wanted to like Aracely Cafe based on what I've read and seen on Yelp and Zolo, but my fiancée and I were disappointed during our recent dinner. We weren't greeted upon entry, had a wobbly table no one bothered to fix, received a rare steak when we had ordered it medium-rare, and didn't initially get the chimichurri that was supposed to come with the steak. The food itself was good but nothing stood out, especially for the price. We got the truffled garlic fries ($12), the pork belly lettuce cups ($12), the pan-seared ocean trout ($32), and the grilled tri tip ($44). -- Food ratings: Truffled garlic fries (2/5) - lacking garlic flavor, almost tasted like regular fries. I also think that ketchup is a "safe" condiment pairing and it would be better off with some kind of aioli. The price also wasn't listed on the menu for some reason. Pork belly lettuce cups (4/5) - pork belly was tender & flavorful, and the apple/mint slaw helped balance the fattiness of the meat. Pan-seared ocean trout (4/5) - perfectly pan seared and was complimented nicely by the lemon sauce and the salad it was served with. Grilled tri tip (3/5) - after having it cooked to medium-rare, the tri tip itself didn't have much flavor and relied to heavily on the pan sauce for seasoning, so it tasted unbalanced. The chimichurri is what really helped the tri tip shine, but $44 is a little bit steep -- maybe if it were a ribeye the pricing would make more sense. This plate also came with french fries that wasn't listed on the menu. -- The ambiance of the outdoor seating is cozy and I can see how they can accommodate for weddings. However, during our dinner, there were a lot of little "misses" that took away from the overall experience. Maybe we will try again for brunch since the food really does look good. read more

Stopped there for a morning beverage and pastries with family as a little Memorial Day weekend adventure to treasure island. Nice ambience with electric fireplace and comfy couch ans overall cozy decor. Service was reasonable given barista was by herself. Drinks and pasties were not worth it though, I got a chai which unbeknownst to me prior to ordering ended up being a regular Bigelow tea bag which barely tasted like chai which was not even as flavorful as the chai that I get Trader Joe's. Got the gluten free almond cake which also did not have much almond flavor. Along with husband's coffee, daughter's hot chocolate, and a small thin chocolate chip cookie the total was just over $30. Though we are used to SF prices, at least the drinks and pastries usually justify the prices whereas it was not the case here. read more

The guests asked for medium rare burger meat but it came well done. Sweet potatoes fries didn't come as on menu, no Parmesan or parsley and it came with ketchup (usually it is with ranch or blue cheese). When asked about it then it was brought back heavily garnished with garlic paste and 2 pieces of Parmesan. Came here on the weekend for lunch as we were already in the area for an event nearby. There was plenty of parking outside. The outdoor / garden dining area had plenty of seating and even a fire pit. The courtyard area was being decorated for a wedding later that night. We opted to eat inside. Inside was comfortable and trendy. It had both rustic and contemporary design elements. I got a whole grain bowl and a cappuccino with almond milk. Both were excellent. I felt the whole grain bowl was unique with the pea tendrils and fava bean sauce. Portions exceeded my expectations for this type of restaurant. Would definitely order both again. The only slight downside of our experience was that service was very slow. A really good 4 stars. Despite it being in the middle of a residential area with no other retail areas nearby, the vibes are great. Very clean, modern, and cozy indoor area with about 5 tables. As for the outdoor area, there is a beautiful gravel courtyard with market lights, a trailer, fire pits, and about 15 tables/benches. It feels a bit like Napa or something like that. As for the food, it was very good. The croissant french toast was incredible. Really unique, citrusy flavor and not too sweet. The fried chicken and waffles were also very yummy and high quality but a bit overpriced. I loved the salsa verde on the chicken but the additional chipotle sauce was a bit of a weird/overwhelming flavor mix. I would have liked a classic gravy or something more neutral to accompany the distinctive salsa verde. The lattes are good but nothing too special. The service was ok. Very slow and not particularly friendly or timely, but not bad in any way. Overall, a positive experience. I'd recommend for sure if you're already in treasure island but I wouldn't go out of my way to come to the island for this restaurant. read more

Aracely opens for Brunch bright and early at 8am, so it is a great place to hit after a morning bike ride across the bridge. The dishes are well priced as you can get a nice meal for under $20. The scones was unique and I would come back to get another. The burger was decent. It was your comfort burger which is always a great move when you are starving.
